He's a descender, he's immune to Irminsul rewrites. But he also holds his contracts firmly, so they doesn't fear him turning on them. Yet.. he gave the gnosis willingly, even though he said there's nothing worth a gnosis.. So he believe that Tsaritsa plan is going to work

If the Genshin anime says true to animate the history of the Archon War I hope they would leave some crumbs about what he knows.

And as far as the archons we have met so far Venti has more sussy lines. Even Nahida who literally has Irminsul with her, well she did gave us lorebomb revelation to us, but Venti and Zhongli has held something more though.
i think it's kinda neat that both mint and sweet flower are also primarily blue and yellow/gold and are the main 2 plants that can be found pretty much everywhere throughout teyvat regardless of environmental severity
Every lore theory video i see further adds to how zhongli is a being beyond our comprehension, i think its genius how he just presents himself as some old dude who just likes to stroll around lol.
Man i wish this guy could collab with ashikai,they sure could pull out a banger , she's so deeply educated in the mythology and opera sides of the game while having a very good grasp on other sides ,and he's so deeply educated with well,i have no idea but idk? Fuck no. Ashikai is biased af. She purposefully brushes past important characters and plots revolving around those characters due to her bias, and makes the ones she likes to be more important than they ever will be. Such as Kaveh who turned out to be an irrelevant character but because he's her favorite, she theorizes the fuck out of him with no basis, just bias. Another example is her latest video where she completely disregarded Childe's relevance in the archon quest as just an "easter egg'' because she hates his character. I never understood why people think Ashikai is a good lore channel, when she can't even make analysis and theories without her bias clouding her judgement.
Her depth located on her awareness of the 3rd party inspiration for the design and decision making goes on Genshin Impact. This guy depth located on the actual understanding of the Hoyoverse as a whole and it's influence on the making of Genshin Impacy game.
ashikais videos are great don't get me wrong, but her videos are mostly catered towards casual players who are interested in surface-level lore or archon quest explanations, ashikai will only cover broader topics about a region but never go too deep into it, shes great as a beginners lore channel, as was the case with me but i feel like she dosent conver things too deeply, she obviously digs quite deep into the lore given how she often references deeper topics but she will not cover such topics because most of her viewers wont be intrested in say, what happened to gurabad in detail or the subsequent city states that came after,

Zhongli is such a square man From his statue’s cube, to his gnosis, to the Liyue vision ornament…even his stone pillars resonates in a square pattern lol Yet every other nation/element is left with circles and sphere, but why though?

Thus, it confirms that Raiden Makoto knew a lot about this concept. I feel this is somehow connected to why she decided to go to Kahreah alone, and also to her death. Maybe she went to Kahreah to get this technology to save Inazuma from the attack of the abyssal monsters?
Makoto likely got the knowledge in the "Before Sun and Moon" from Orobashi. And what's in that book that's forbidden? Istaroth And considering that Makoto got help from Istaroth planting the Sacred Sakura at the beginning of time, it confirm that she got knowledge from "Before Sun and Moon". Remember how Istaroth helped Enka people create an artificial sun with golden power? A very powerful power source that doesn't align with any element? Imaginary power if you say. That's the power of the shades, and PO. Something not even archons can wield, but they can borrow if a higher power intervene. The Sacred Sakura filter filth in the key lines, isolate it, and and allow energy to return pure to Irminsul. Effectively removing monsters of the abyss, and anything else that's outwardly. The filth itself need manual purge, which MC does. As he does purify Dvalin tear, and many other things.

On the topic of Zhongli using imaginary energy. One namecard says that light can refract in many colors but people stop at 7 because they are lazy to count. All of that while having the 7 elements in the namecard itself. So with this is very clear that every element is just a simplified version of the light real or imaginary element so every archon is, in a way, capable of using imaginary energy

You are honestly the only genshin lore youtuber that can somehow take all the complex mythos this game is based on, make sense of it, AND translate it into something a non-expert audience can understand in such a cohesive way. There's more in-game evidence supporting that Raiden has a bigger martial prowess than Zhongli in the present. Also you're conveniently ignoring that Raiden can create her own sub-space as in the Plane of Euthymia, which according to this video, suggests that she has some domain over the Imaginary element as well, and not only that, her domain over the imaginary element was strong enough that she managed to preserve Makoto's own plane of euthymia 500 years after her death.
@@daten9075 Check Morax's greatest feats in Liyue and then cross them with Beelzebul's greatest feats. Let us put all of the terraforming and world-building (literal world-building) that Zhongli did to the Mountains of Teyvat aside. Let us also put all of the Dragons, Gods, and Monsters that Zhongli defeated aside. Let us also put the fact that he was infamous for his martial prowess that he was known as a god of war and given the title of the "Warrior God". The strongest enemy that Beelzebul canonically defeated as far as we know was Orobashi (maybe she defeated someone stronger but we don't know yet). Orobashi already lost to Zhongli before fleeing to Inazuma. That alone ends the discussion.

Orobashi was a god too if you forgot. And Ei also killed the Thunderbird and sealed it within Seirai Island. The slash she used to defeat Orobashi was so strong that you can still feel the remants in Yahsiori Islans (the electro radiation). And not only that Raiden had enough power to surpress the Tatarigami aka Orobashi's karmic remains on Yashiori island. And Raidens biggest feat is literally FIGHTING THE SHOGUN PUPPET FOR 500+ YEARS. She was literally locked in combat for hundreds of years against an enemy thats on equal footing with the Archons. And she herself said that if she even faltered for a single second, she wouldve been killed. You also forget that Zhongli himself said that he lost a great deal of power after giving up his gnosis, Raiden was never in possesion of a gnosis, and at the end of her SQ2 she unlocked the true power of the Musou Isshin, so she walked out stronger than she did. You can make the argument that Zhongli in his prime was stronger than Raiden, which would be true. But AS OF THE PRESENT, Raiden is the strongest Archon as of now until we meet Tsaritsa and Murata.
dang, this actually starts to make sense, when the abyss energy is in a chaotic/undefined state and celestial energy being ordered under certain "heavenly principles", or Teyvats law so to speak, then it would make sense that the state inbetween these 2 would be neither chaotic nor ordered. It would simply be undefined or raw (in this case blue). And if you have something that is neither fully chaotic and is undefined, then it should be relatively easy to assign a definition to it and turning it into a defined state, for example into the fire element like in Deshret's places.

as i was playing through these world quests i started to connect a lot of the dots much like yourself. I personally lack the time necessary to research and see where things start to line up. Just adding on to your theory about primal light originating from the light realm, we’ve already seen this from the Latin incantations that are in the game the incantation used by Mona in Unreconciled Stars and the outer wheel of the beastly rifts in Fontaine read as Ex culmine locis in magno elementorum Lux se effundat in mentes dei ("From the peak of light, to the greatness of the elements. May light surrender to the mind of god.") Abyss Lectors use an ominously similar version: Ex culmine lucis in magno obscuritatis. Lux se effundat in mentes abysso. ("From the peak of light, to the greatness of darkness. May light surrender to the abyss.") It’s almost as if they channel the primal energy via abyss/celestial power. Hypostasis even have a similar line “Ex Culmine Lucis In Magno Elementorum” which is just the shortened version of Mona’s, likely because the hypostasis are natural manifestations from the light realm, not controlling the primal energy but being one with it Another thing I wanted to ask: in the nymphs dream (now revealed to be Rene the dragon narcissus and the hero Alain), Rene says that the “The star-beasts shall drink the amniotic fluid of the world dry. A hundred years from then, all life on its surface shall be wiped away”. Considering the primordial sea is the birthplace (womb, amniotic = womb liquid) of teyvat, we can assume the primordial sea is this “amniotic fluid” and somehow the whole world formula has to do with the “star beasts” drinking up all the primordial waters. How do you think that fits into your current theory?
Perhaps the star beasts tie in to this theory's suggestion that the Traveler will become Dottore's "god project" (54:16), rather than taking a bite of the world they'll drink deeply from the primordial sea.

I watch a lot of genshin lore speculation and theorycrafting videos and although they all sound believable and "convince" me, this is by far the best put together one, where everything makes so much sense it's like you came from the future and explained the entirety of the game knowing everything. There is something else there. Some missing link. What does the Abyss twin have to do with this? The loom of fate and the fall Khanria. While this video I think is very close to the whole story, I think we're still missing some crucial pieces. The Descenders, the loom of fate, the sinner, Danes role, and the Abyss twin. None of them are really covered in this theory.

@@jamesreese4170they probably could be at *some* point. Its less of a “we have missing links” and more of a “the game has yet to bring up any hints” we’re only on fontaine. And theres gonna be many more events genshin will make that future players will never get to play that have an important role in fleshing out the whole story. Since we get a lot of abyss/kheanriah/dain lore once every nation patch, we might get something in fontaine’s version that adds to this theory. This video seems almost on the nose about the story of genshin. Those final pieces with the Abyss sibling will slot seamlessly in over time thats for sure.

What the ef, you explain evertything so detailed and logical based on the lore text and almost every prop in the game and alligns similiarly with the theories you mention. About the imaginary blue element that can be converted into 7 element, the fatui making a god of that element with scaramouche as the red herring, the world restarts over and over with it ends with the abyss engulping the world. All of this with 4k subcribers. Im pressed as hell and you deserved more subs, keep up the good work and theories.
Based on how we're the protag and all what if we join the fatui in the end and we basically become the nanook of genshin tevat getting our powers back and destroy celestia.

I don't watch long videos but man, you kept me watching till the end... maybe because one of the topic was Zhongli. This is by far the most sensible and most probable actual lore for Genshin, it is intertwined with the other Hoyoverse game/lore. I am also in awe on your take about the reasoning behind how was Xiao saved during the 2.7 chasm quest and it makes sense. So probably also why Xiao's karmic debt (might be abyssal in nature??) become tone down when he met traveler because traveler's power counters abyssal?

(i'm guessing the former) i'm favoriting this video to check back on later as we get closer to snezhnaya / have more dainsleif focused quests to see how much the story develops to support this theory, my money is on yours being the most accurate out there so far since the game's world and lore is always complimentary and mirrors elements in various different tellings and circumstances
This video is pure brilliance. I usually don't really listen to lore theorists, a lots of time I find their theories being influenced by their likes, and dislikes. (remember, one of the more popular female lore theorist kept saying that Kaveh is Deshret's reicanrnation, and when he will return from the Desert, will take the leadership of the Akademiya form Alhaitham. XD Because she loved Kaveh. it turned out, Kaveh can't lead anything, not even his own life without crashing and burning. XD)
The hero we need and the one we deserve. ❤ Also, Zandik DOES have a moral compass. He has a *unique* set of principles, but he CERTAINLY does still have principles. Overall, loved your analysis, but yeah, he's not insane or void of morals, he's misunderstood and morally complex, but you are right that he is a genius. Zandik did NOT meet Pierro 500 years ago, you're wrong about that. He's definitely not that old, we DO see him in Tatarasuna around 200 years ago, but we know that research into ruin machines/constructs was banned by the Akademiya by the time Zandik was a trainee Dastur, which was way after the Cataclysm, so he is LESS than 500 years old. We also know he doesn't have firsthand knowledge of the events of the Cataclysm/the Aranara/etc. which means he is, again, younger than 500 years old. He COULD be as old as 200 years, but we don't know that, because we have seen going back in time is possible through Scaramouche. However, let us take it at face value for now that he *could* be at most ~200 years old, given we do see him in Tatarasuna around that time. And yes, you are right that the artificial god project with the Akademiya failed, and that this was more Azar's vision than Zandik's, as Nahida says and Zandik himself says as well. We also know the experiment was a failure because, had it succeeded, Scaramouche would've absorved the divine knowledge and ceased to exist/be immobilised forever, THAT was the goal (Scaramouche boss drops go into detail about this.) The project was supposed to KILL Scaramouche, lol, and basically just use him as a substitute Gnosis piece to re-activate the divine knowledge that was gathered in the divine knowledge capsules, but they were not able to use them in time, so Scaramouche did NOT become a god, even before being defeated. This is why Nahida, as weak as she is, was able to defeat him easily, too, because he never became a god in the first place, let alone one which could rival an archon lol. I believe that this was sort of a 'prototype'/test for Zandik to perfect his methods, with a superior plan this time, and borrowing the Akademiya's technology had two purposes, one practical and the other emotional. The practical purpose, obviously, would be to conduct the experiment in a controlled environment that would not endanger Snezhnaya. The emotional one would be that, were Zandik successful in his creating a god for Azar, he could leave the Fatui and return to Sumeru/the Akademiya as he has always wanted, which he himself acknowledged in the 11 min. cutscene following the final fight. In the end, Zandik's heart is always in Sumeru, and we see this hinted throughout his parts of the AQ. He is in Snezhnaya out of obligation and has no sense of belonging there or in the Fatui. This is also why he doesn't want to be on bad terms with Nahida or wish to take the Gnosis by force, because a part of him DOES want her and Sumeru's approval, even as arrogant as he can be, it's sort of a defence mechanism on his part because he's been nothing but rejected and maligned his whole life, even in his days as a student. We also do not know if he was kicked out ot the Akademiya unfairly or not -- we've seen how corrupt they can be, so I would not put it past them to have framed him for something so they could steal his research, we've seen that in other SQs, and the Sumeru SQs seem to be mainly connected to Dottore [Siraj's most obviously, but others too, like Cyno's and Tighnari's.] So, Dottore remaining in the Fatui is still something of an uncertainty, we don't know what he will do because, as strategic as he is, and as brilliant as he is, there IS something he wants that the Fatui can't ever give him, and that's his homeland.
This was actually an insane video to watch, so many connections, but everything falls into their place so well and it just makes sense! Traveler really might just become the original god or, as the game calls it "Genshin" in the end and make an "impact" on Teyvat's laws. Anyways, fantastic video, I watched the previous part and now this in one go and it was an absolute wild ride. Like some other commenters said this really does feel like the best theory video of Genshin so far for me at least. Keep up the great work!
Guys... I just read the description for the Shivada Jade Gemstone... and it *literally* says and I quote: "Sorry... to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? Then, burn away the old world for me." ... THIS IS LITERALLY THE TSATITZA ASKING THE TRAVELER TO HELP HER IN FUFILLING HER WISH. AND HERE'S THE CHERRY ON TOP; *WE'RE A FU^KING SHOOTING STAR* LIKE, YOU KNOW, THE ONES WE WISH UPON (and don't even get me started on that time where the Traveler powered up because of the wishes of the people that were relying on them)
This has to be the best Genshin Theory video ive seen so far. Now I want to see how some more of the big things like Hexenzirkel and its eccentric witches, or kingdoms like Sal Vidagnyr and the future telling power possessed by the lady there etc fits in, and if it could actually fit.
Idk how to start this theory but your video really interestsed me I would just like to point out my theory in sections and I hope you read it Pneouma and ousia I would just like to say that this is definitely Genshin trying to confirm that light and dark exist in to the game so we know pneouma is imaginary in Genshin and ousia is quantum well what if pneouma represent celestia and ousia represents the abyss if you really think about this it’s not that bad of a representation first I would just like to start with pneouma we know it’s a element of light and that it means soul if you analyze that it actually alliance really well with the concepts of visions, we learned from Inazuma that visions connect to the person’s ambition and a ambition comes from your heart, or in other terms, soul so if you think about it, visions are basically a organ that is given to vision builders that physically represents there, ambition and if there backstory, or personality aligns with one of the 7 Archons then they’re gifted a certain element we know that the Archons don’t personally handle visions since ei talks about it in her voice lines, so it’s definitely celestia handing them out it was even said in game that each person that has a vision has a chance of ascending to godhood but if I’m going to be honest, I believe that’s honestly just lie if that were really true, then the current Archons would have been once vision holders that I send it to godhood but that’s not the case I believe that visions are given to people who have a single goal in their life that they want to pursue that aligns with celestia basically it’s like a budget version of a gnosis that each archon has to strengthen their power but for vision holders, it’s their emotional power that gives them power of a vision basically what I’m saying is that the stronger, the ambition, the stronger your vision will be now let’s talk about ousia we know it means “to be” at least that’s what I heard and I actually perfectly aligned with the abyss. If you look at all the people who controlled the abyss, they have all been changed physically into a Lecter or a hareld basically be a best ones to you evolve humans into a higher power to take control and we also know it has a will of its own, which also matches how vision holders have ambitions with visons it connects with your heart but with the abyss, it mostly connects to what you want to be or what you want to know now look at childe he’s learned the arts of the abyss and has a vision we know from the recent Archon Quests that his vision hasn’t been working now I believe that’s because of his foul legacy just how pneouma and ousia create a reaction called annihilation, which is basically opposing each other, visions and the abyss do the same thing or I guess more specifically celestial power, and abyssal power do the same thing it’s possible childe has been feeling down. It is because his vision is weakening along with his ambition as well because of the foul legacy and it doesn’t help the fact that he has a delusion as well also something I like to add when pneouma and ousia create annihilation, suspiciously kinda, looks like the color of Anemo which brings me to my second theory Venti and iseroth Now we know venti has the queen gnosis and the queen is known to be the most powerful even more powerful than the king itself now I think is frankly obvious that Celestia is the king with the other Archons being other chess pieces as well (geo and cryo rook dendro and electro bishop and hydro and pyro knight) now I believe Anemo is both a celestial and abyssal element, because we see the abyss order taking a statue of the seven and using it to gain power and we also know that the statues at the seven were most likely created by celestia when the seven Archons were chosen now ventis statue looks really similar to most of the statues of enkonomyia and in one area you can see that there are directly for statues which could represent the poor shades. There’s also another area of that in the chasm which we can see in a portal in the abyss area we’re we try to find the melusin now I believe venti wasn’t originally supposed to be created I believe iseroth created him because she also for saw a prophecy of the future Anemo has been an element that has h heavily been associated with time which is the reason why I think it’s a celestial element and abyssal elements since childe re marks his time in the abyss differently, been in the outside world now I believe venti was created so the traveler can embark his journey across the seven Nations I mean think about it teyvats story is distinguished into chapters basically like a story book and in one of the world quest in Fountaine it talks about how we’re in the story but the traveler wasn’t originally supposed to be in it so what if the same applies to Genshin what if teyvats fate was already supposed to be sealed, but since the travel is a anomaly from the outside world influencing teyvat there are many possibilities of what teyvat could end up if you’re wondering why I think Venti is the reason on how the traveler Kim embark on their journey is simply because he’s the first archon we meet in fact, the very first character in the game that we meet (besides Paimon) if he never saw him or if he never existed he wouldn’t have helped monstadt or wanted to search for the seven in fact I believe iseroth creating Venti is the reason why the siblings aren’t even in teyvat in the first place I could be wrong about that one, but it’s a possibility Teyvats fate I am going to start off on the story by saying that teyvat is on it seventh loop or samsaranahida says that everything in this world runs on a loop and proof of this is the fact that there are seven Archons in teyvat and there were seven sovereigns who possessed each of one element like the archons I believe in the dragon age teyvat was already in its six Loop, and since the dragons went to war with celestia I believe it was beginning to enter. It’s seven sleep if we think about it teyvat could’ve had a brutal war we’re all life forms perished during the war with the dragons and the heavens and it says in the book of sun and moon, that the primordial one created humans and plant life so it’s possible at that very moment teyvats seventh loop has already started and I believe it’s going to teyvats finally one is because in the notes of the world quest says that civilization won’t be alive saying that the abyss wall in golf all of the world, and not even a mint would be left Mona also says that constellations can predict the outcomes of people and tell about their past lives we know that there are six constellations when you look at the cons of the playable characters in the reason for this is the fact that we’re still on going to seven loop of teyvat and every loop we go through it as one more constellation of the past world or life if we align the constellations with a seven archons venti would be out of the picture because he’s the queen and the other archons posses the rook bishop and knight pieces this one’s a bit of a stretch, but I could understand why Ending thoughts Venti definitely has more lore coming especially since 90 percent of the lore in this game connects to him even king deshret who was the goddess of flowers, who is a seelie from celestia and celestia, has the floor shades, and iseroth is one at the Ford shades, who created venti I also think teyvat being at its final loop is a really interesting story line and could be the main plot point in the ark of khaenriah
The color scheme of Anemonis similar to the color of what happens when Pneuma and Oumos crash to each other creating Annihilation or Balanced stated. But Lynette prove this irrelevant because Anemo character can have Ousia oriented in tandem of their Anemo vision.

this is the single most important genshin theory of all time. the loose ends are tied so fucking incredibly, and everything makes SENSE. i’m especially in love with your analysis of zhongli/morax and how he holds some dominion of the imaginary power, which thus allowed him to essentially think xiao back into physical existence. it wasn’t an OP anime-esque show of power from the lord of geo, but a calculated move by hoyo to explain how zhongli is one of the most influential chars in the game and how we missed a big portion of his character back then. also this just goes to show how effective the narsizzencreuz world quest is and how important it will be down the line. rene’s research paved the way for almost ALL the deeper knowledge that will one day define what happens in the end. also your attention to detail is absolutely stunning. noticing how the desert areas are littered with shows of imaginary/quantum energy down to the existence of a singular seelie in the duat hall is mesmerising. it has made my mind blow with thoughts of how many gold/blue dichotomies we have missed in the game. someone here commented that this must be why sweet flowers and mint are EVERYWHERE now matter how defiled the state: they are hoyo’s way of showing that the energies that rule the laws of teyvat are soon to be revealed and they are omnipresent.

It all makes sense, the connections made in this video tie back to all the foundations set at the beginning and maybe the end if you are exactly right… This theory video was genuinely one of the most biggest pieces of the puzzle that is genshin impacts story. Additionally, this video makes a lot of things weave together, more precisely, theories made by other genshin theorists such as chill with aster, ashikai and even obscure creators such as shadowx5452 gaming for example since they build more on the ideas expressed in this video. So if you haven’t you should check them out if you haven’t and if you want to know more genshin theorists just ask. So, yeah this video had touched upon and built on some theories I had in my head but all had said things that I hadn’t even known existed. Awesome video! ❤
EXTREMELY well-put video. This was very comprehensive and packed with so much scattered information from Genshin that is either skipped or slips through mind after some time. This makes me so much more hyped to continue playing and see what the Fatui really are going to do, and my fondness for the character of Dottore after watching this video has increased so much. I was disappointed by Genshin's lack of exposition regarding the abyssal ooze in the chasm, the lumenstone's energy, Kvarena energy etc but watching you explain and piece everything together blew mind. Such a good video, really helped me put together the lore I was struggling to connect. A couple questions and thoughts: 1. What was it that made Rene and Jakob connected to the Hydro Archon lotus that Karl and Carter did not possess? 2. Could the Oratrice be powered by the souls/bodies of those dissolved in the primordial sea? If it is a collective consciousness of dissolved people, it would make the Oratrice the "jury", which matches its function in the courtroom. 3. The common seelie seem to be closer to the color of Anemo, not blue/silver in color- is there something to that? 4. Mint is silvery blue and Sweetflower is gold- perhaps "A world where Mint and Sweetflower won't grow" is a world with no more Primal Energy, perhaps being completely consumed by Celestia, leaving only the Abyss 5. The description of the Tsaritsa from the Travail teaser makes so much sense in this context; she doesn't need people to have faith in her anymore, just the new god they create. Who has been traveling the whole world, resonating with all the elements, and gaining the faith of entire countries? Traveler. 6. You said that visions are aligned Primal Energy, which totally makes sense, but what determines a vision wielders "constitution" to be "aligned" with a certain element?
@@RukkhaRukkha I just think they are closer to the Anemo color (blue-green) than they are the silver blue of the "prime energy" (Leylines, domain Irminsul, resin, Tsurumi souls, Deshret tech, etc.)
If you think about Geo, it can technically be called a creative power. Noelle creates a shield around herself with her elemental skill, and lengthens her sword through Elemental burst. Itto uses his creativity to throw Ushi from a different type of dimension (We never see him unless he summons him...), and his burst allows him to create a club from his claymore. Albedo... need I say more? He's a being made of chalk, a being that was created from chalk, and can bring nearly anything to life through his creativity (Sketches) Gorou can summon banner flags to rally the troops and embolden their resolve Zhongli creates a pillar, and summons a meteor from the sky. Ningguang summons geo rocks to attack, creates a screen to stop projectiles from hitting her, and ALSO creates guizhong ballistae for the jade chamber. Yun Jin creates flags that heighten her performance, (adds flair for her creativity) Geo Traveler also creates using their skill and burst. TLDR; Geo is the closest to creative power that we can get so far.
I love seeing theories after part of a theory is disproved because it helps make ways for new answers. we have new information on the gnosis which doesn't disprove parts of this, but does change it a little. I'm excited to see how the theories in this (super long) video play out in new patches.

Every lore theory video i see further adds to how zhongli is a being beyond our comprehension, i think its genius how he just presents himself as some old dude who just likes to stroll around lol.

Fuck no. Ashikai is biased af. She purposefully brushes past important characters and plots revolving around those characters due to her bias, and makes the ones she likes to be more important than they ever will be. Such as Kaveh who turned out to be an irrelevant character but because he's her favorite, she theorizes the fuck out of him with no basis, just bias. Another example is her latest video where she completely disregarded Childe's relevance in the archon quest as just an "easter egg'' because she hates his character. I never understood why people think Ashikai is a good lore channel, when she can't even make analysis and theories without her bias clouding her judgement.
Her depth located on her awareness of the 3rd party inspiration for the design and decision making goes on Genshin Impact. This guy depth located on the actual understanding of the Hoyoverse as a whole and it's influence on the making of Genshin Impacy game.
ashikais videos are great don't get me wrong, but her videos are mostly catered towards casual players who are interested in surface-level lore or archon quest explanations, ashikai will only cover broader topics about a region but never go too deep into it, shes great as a beginners lore channel, as was the case with me but i feel like she dosent conver things too deeply, she obviously digs quite deep into the lore given how she often references deeper topics but she will not cover such topics because most of her viewers wont be intrested in say, what happened to gurabad in detail or the subsequent city states that came after,

There's more in-game evidence supporting that Raiden has a bigger martial prowess than Zhongli in the present. Also you're conveniently ignoring that Raiden can create her own sub-space as in the Plane of Euthymia, which according to this video, suggests that she has some domain over the Imaginary element as well, and not only that, her domain over the imaginary element was strong enough that she managed to preserve Makoto's own plane of euthymia 500 years after her death.

Let us put all of the terraforming and world-building (literal world-building) that Zhongli did to the Mountains of Teyvat aside. Let us also put all of the Dragons, Gods, and Monsters that Zhongli defeated aside. Let us also put the fact that he was infamous for his martial prowess that he was known as a god of war and given the title of the "Warrior God".
The strongest enemy that Beelzebul canonically defeated as far as we know was Orobashi (maybe she defeated someone stronger but we don't know yet). Orobashi already lost to Zhongli before fleeing to Inazuma. That alone ends the discussion.

And not only that Raiden had enough power to surpress the Tatarigami aka Orobashi's karmic remains on Yashiori island.
And Raidens biggest feat is literally FIGHTING THE SHOGUN PUPPET FOR 500+ YEARS. She was literally locked in combat for hundreds of years against an enemy thats on equal footing with the Archons. And she herself said that if she even faltered for a single second, she wouldve been killed.
You also forget that Zhongli himself said that he lost a great deal of power after giving up his gnosis, Raiden was never in possesion of a gnosis, and at the end of her SQ2 she unlocked the true power of the Musou Isshin, so she walked out stronger than she did.
You can make the argument that Zhongli in his prime was stronger than Raiden, which would be true. But AS OF THE PRESENT, Raiden is the strongest Archon as of now until we meet Tsaritsa and Murata.
dang, this actually starts to make sense, when the abyss energy is in a chaotic/undefined state and celestial energy being ordered under certain "heavenly principles", or Teyvats law so to speak, then it would make sense that the state inbetween these 2 would be neither chaotic nor ordered. It would simply be undefined or raw (in this case blue). And if you have something that is neither fully chaotic and is undefined, then it should be relatively easy to assign a definition to it and turning it into a defined state, for example into the fire element like in Deshret's places.

the incantation used by Mona in Unreconciled Stars and the outer wheel of the beastly rifts in Fontaine read as Ex culmine locis in magno elementorum Lux se effundat in mentes dei ("From the peak of light, to the greatness of the elements. May light surrender to the mind of god.")
Abyss Lectors use an ominously similar version: Ex culmine lucis in magno obscuritatis. Lux se effundat in mentes abysso. ("From the peak of light, to the greatness of darkness. May light surrender to the abyss.")
It’s almost as if they channel the primal energy via abyss/celestial power.
Hypostasis even have a similar line “Ex Culmine Lucis In Magno Elementorum” which is just the shortened version of Mona’s, likely because the hypostasis are natural manifestations from the light realm, not controlling the primal energy but being one with it
Another thing I wanted to ask: in the nymphs dream (now revealed to be Rene the dragon narcissus and the hero Alain), Rene says that the “The star-beasts shall drink the amniotic fluid of the world dry. A hundred years from then, all life on its surface shall be wiped away”. Considering the primordial sea is the birthplace (womb, amniotic = womb liquid) of teyvat, we can assume the primordial sea is this “amniotic fluid” and somehow the whole world formula has to do with the “star beasts” drinking up all the primordial waters.
How do you think that fits into your current theory?
Perhaps the star beasts tie in to this theory's suggestion that the Traveler will become Dottore's "god project" (54:16), rather than taking a bite of the world they'll drink deeply from the primordial sea.

There is something else there. Some missing link. What does the Abyss twin have to do with this? The loom of fate and the fall Khanria. While this video I think is very close to the whole story, I think we're still missing some crucial pieces. The Descenders, the loom of fate, the sinner, Danes role, and the Abyss twin. None of them are really covered in this theory.

And theres gonna be many more events genshin will make that future players will never get to play that have an important role in fleshing out the whole story.
Since we get a lot of abyss/kheanriah/dain lore once every nation patch, we might get something in fontaine’s version that adds to this theory.
This video seems almost on the nose about the story of genshin. Those final pieces with the Abyss sibling will slot seamlessly in over time thats for sure.

What the ef, you explain evertything so detailed and logical based on the lore text and almost every prop in the game and alligns similiarly with the theories you mention. About the imaginary blue element that can be converted into 7 element, the fatui making a god of that element with scaramouche as the red herring, the world restarts over and over with it ends with the abyss engulping the world. All of this with 4k subcribers. Im pressed as hell and you deserved more subs, keep up the good work and theories.

This is by far the most sensible and most probable actual lore for Genshin, it is intertwined with the other Hoyoverse game/lore. I am also in awe on your take about the reasoning behind how was Xiao saved during the 2.7 chasm quest and it makes sense. So probably also why Xiao's karmic debt (might be abyssal in nature??) become tone down when he met traveler because traveler's power counters abyssal?

I usually don't really listen to lore theorists, a lots of time I find their theories being influenced by their likes, and dislikes. (remember, one of the more popular female lore theorist kept saying that Kaveh is Deshret's reicanrnation, and when he will return from the Desert, will take the leadership of the Akademiya form Alhaitham. XD Because she loved Kaveh. it turned out, Kaveh can't lead anything, not even his own life without crashing and burning. XD)

Also, Zandik DOES have a moral compass. He has a *unique* set of principles, but he CERTAINLY does still have principles. Overall, loved your analysis, but yeah, he's not insane or void of morals, he's misunderstood and morally complex, but you are right that he is a genius.
Zandik did NOT meet Pierro 500 years ago, you're wrong about that. He's definitely not that old, we DO see him in Tatarasuna around 200 years ago, but we know that research into ruin machines/constructs was banned by the Akademiya by the time Zandik was a trainee Dastur, which was way after the Cataclysm, so he is LESS than 500 years old. We also know he doesn't have firsthand knowledge of the events of the Cataclysm/the Aranara/etc. which means he is, again, younger than 500 years old. He COULD be as old as 200 years, but we don't know that, because we have seen going back in time is possible through Scaramouche. However, let us take it at face value for now that he *could* be at most ~200 years old, given we do see him in Tatarasuna around that time.
And yes, you are right that the artificial god project with the Akademiya failed, and that this was more Azar's vision than Zandik's, as Nahida says and Zandik himself says as well. We also know the experiment was a failure because, had it succeeded, Scaramouche would've absorved the divine knowledge and ceased to exist/be immobilised forever, THAT was the goal (Scaramouche boss drops go into detail about this.) The project was supposed to KILL Scaramouche, lol, and basically just use him as a substitute Gnosis piece to re-activate the divine knowledge that was gathered in the divine knowledge capsules, but they were not able to use them in time, so Scaramouche did NOT become a god, even before being defeated. This is why Nahida, as weak as she is, was able to defeat him easily, too, because he never became a god in the first place, let alone one which could rival an archon lol.
I believe that this was sort of a 'prototype'/test for Zandik to perfect his methods, with a superior plan this time, and borrowing the Akademiya's technology had two purposes, one practical and the other emotional. The practical purpose, obviously, would be to conduct the experiment in a controlled environment that would not endanger Snezhnaya. The emotional one would be that, were Zandik successful in his creating a god for Azar, he could leave the Fatui and return to Sumeru/the Akademiya as he has always wanted, which he himself acknowledged in the 11 min. cutscene following the final fight. In the end, Zandik's heart is always in Sumeru, and we see this hinted throughout his parts of the AQ. He is in Snezhnaya out of obligation and has no sense of belonging there or in the Fatui. This is also why he doesn't want to be on bad terms with Nahida or wish to take the Gnosis by force, because a part of him DOES want her and Sumeru's approval, even as arrogant as he can be, it's sort of a defence mechanism on his part because he's been nothing but rejected and maligned his whole life, even in his days as a student. We also do not know if he was kicked out ot the Akademiya unfairly or not -- we've seen how corrupt they can be, so I would not put it past them to have framed him for something so they could steal his research, we've seen that in other SQs, and the Sumeru SQs seem to be mainly connected to Dottore [Siraj's most obviously, but others too, like Cyno's and Tighnari's.]
So, Dottore remaining in the Fatui is still something of an uncertainty, we don't know what he will do because, as strategic as he is, and as brilliant as he is, there IS something he wants that the Fatui can't ever give him, and that's his homeland.
This was actually an insane video to watch, so many connections, but everything falls into their place so well and it just makes sense! Traveler really might just become the original god or, as the game calls it "Genshin" in the end and make an "impact" on Teyvat's laws.
Anyways, fantastic video, I watched the previous part and now this in one go and it was an absolute wild ride. Like some other commenters said this really does feel like the best theory video of Genshin so far for me at least. Keep up the great work!

Pneouma and ousia
I would just like to say that this is definitely Genshin trying to confirm that light and dark exist in to the game so we know pneouma is imaginary in Genshin and ousia is quantum well what if pneouma represent celestia and ousia represents the abyss if you really think about this it’s not that bad of a representation first I would just like to start with pneouma we know it’s a element of light and that it means soul if you analyze that it actually alliance really well with the concepts of visions, we learned from Inazuma that visions connect to the person’s ambition and a ambition comes from your heart, or in other terms, soul so if you think about it, visions are basically a organ that is given to vision builders that physically represents there, ambition and if there backstory, or personality aligns with one of the 7 Archons then they’re gifted a certain element we know that the Archons don’t personally handle visions since ei talks about it in her voice lines, so it’s definitely celestia handing them out it was even said in game that each person that has a vision has a chance of ascending to godhood but if I’m going to be honest, I believe that’s honestly just lie if that were really true, then the current Archons would have been once vision holders that I send it to godhood but that’s not the case I believe that visions are given to people who have a single goal in their life that they want to pursue that aligns with celestia basically it’s like a budget version of a gnosis that each archon has to strengthen their power but for vision holders, it’s their emotional power that gives them power of a vision basically what I’m saying is that the stronger, the ambition, the stronger your vision will be now let’s talk about ousia we know it means “to be” at least that’s what I heard and I actually perfectly aligned with the abyss. If you look at all the people who controlled the abyss, they have all been changed physically into a Lecter or a hareld basically be a best ones to you evolve humans into a higher power to take control and we also know it has a will of its own, which also matches how vision holders have ambitions with visons it connects with your heart but with the abyss, it mostly connects to what you want to be or what you want to know now look at childe he’s learned the arts of the abyss and has a vision we know from the recent Archon Quests that his vision hasn’t been working now I believe that’s because of his foul legacy just how pneouma and ousia create a reaction called annihilation, which is basically opposing each other, visions and the abyss do the same thing or I guess more specifically celestial power, and abyssal power do the same thing it’s possible childe has been feeling down. It is because his vision is weakening along with his ambition as well because of the foul legacy and it doesn’t help the fact that he has a delusion as well also something I like to add when pneouma and ousia create annihilation, suspiciously kinda, looks like the color of Anemo which brings me to my second theory
Venti and iseroth
Now we know venti has the queen gnosis and the queen is known to be the most powerful even more powerful than the king itself now I think is frankly obvious that Celestia is the king with the other Archons being other chess pieces as well (geo and cryo rook dendro and electro bishop and hydro and pyro knight) now I believe Anemo is both a celestial and abyssal element, because we see the abyss order taking a statue of the seven and using it to gain power and we also know that the statues at the seven were most likely created by celestia when the seven Archons were chosen now ventis statue looks really similar to most of the statues of enkonomyia and in one area you can see that there are directly for statues which could represent the poor shades. There’s also another area of that in the chasm which we can see in a portal in the abyss area we’re we try to find the melusin now I believe venti wasn’t originally supposed to be created I believe iseroth created him because she also for saw a prophecy of the future Anemo has been an element that has h heavily been associated with time which is the reason why I think it’s a celestial element and abyssal elements since childe re marks his time in the abyss differently, been in the outside world now I believe venti was created so the traveler can embark his journey across the seven Nations I mean think about it teyvats story is distinguished into chapters basically like a story book and in one of the world quest in Fountaine it talks about how we’re in the story but the traveler wasn’t originally supposed to be in it so what if the same applies to Genshin what if teyvats fate was already supposed to be sealed, but since the travel is a anomaly from the outside world influencing teyvat there are many possibilities of what teyvat could end up if you’re wondering why I think Venti is the reason on how the traveler Kim embark on their journey is simply because he’s the first archon we meet in fact, the very first character in the game that we meet (besides Paimon) if he never saw him or if he never existed he wouldn’t have helped monstadt or wanted to search for the seven in fact I believe iseroth creating Venti is the reason why the siblings aren’t even in teyvat in the first place I could be wrong about that one, but it’s a possibility
Teyvats fate
I am going to start off on the story by saying that teyvat is on it seventh loop or samsaranahida says that everything in this world runs on a loop and proof of this is the fact that there are seven Archons in teyvat and there were seven sovereigns who possessed each of one element like the archons I believe in the dragon age teyvat was already in its six Loop, and since the dragons went to war with celestia I believe it was beginning to enter. It’s seven sleep if we think about it teyvat could’ve had a brutal war we’re all life forms perished during the war with the dragons and the heavens and it says in the book of sun and moon, that the primordial one created humans and plant life so it’s possible at that very moment teyvats seventh loop has already started and I believe it’s going to teyvats finally one is because in the notes of the world quest says that civilization won’t be alive saying that the abyss wall in golf all of the world, and not even a mint would be left Mona also says that constellations can predict the outcomes of people and tell about their past lives we know that there are six constellations when you look at the cons of the playable characters in the reason for this is the fact that we’re still on going to seven loop of teyvat and every loop we go through it as one more constellation of the past world or life if we align the constellations with a seven archons venti would be out of the picture because he’s the queen and the other archons posses the rook bishop and knight pieces this one’s a bit of a stretch, but I could understand why
Ending thoughts
Venti definitely has more lore coming especially since 90 percent of the lore in this game connects to him even king deshret who was the goddess of flowers, who is a seelie from celestia and celestia, has the floor shades, and iseroth is one at the Ford shades, who created venti I also think teyvat being at its final loop is a really interesting story line and could be the main plot point in the ark of khaenriah
I like some of these ideas
The color scheme of Anemonis similar to the color of what happens when Pneuma and Oumos crash to each other creating Annihilation or Balanced stated. But Lynette prove this irrelevant because Anemo character can have Ousia oriented in tandem of their Anemo vision.

this starts to make more sense when you realize the traveler is a descender, and the 3rd descenders “remainings” are the gnoses, and the traveler has similar properties to the gnoses with the elements and also the third descender, since they are also a descender
this is the single most important genshin theory of all time. the loose ends are tied so fucking incredibly, and everything makes SENSE.
i’m especially in love with your analysis of zhongli/morax and how he holds some dominion of the imaginary power, which thus allowed him to essentially think xiao back into physical existence. it wasn’t an OP anime-esque show of power from the lord of geo, but a calculated move by hoyo to explain how zhongli is one of the most influential chars in the game and how we missed a big portion of his character back then.
also this just goes to show how effective the narsizzencreuz world quest is and how important it will be down the line. rene’s research paved the way for almost ALL the deeper knowledge that will one day define what happens in the end.
also your attention to detail is absolutely stunning. noticing how the desert areas are littered with shows of imaginary/quantum energy down to the existence of a singular seelie in the duat hall is mesmerising. it has made my mind blow with thoughts of how many gold/blue dichotomies we have missed in the game. someone here commented that this must be why sweet flowers and mint are EVERYWHERE now matter how defiled the state: they are hoyo’s way of showing that the energies that rule the laws of teyvat are soon to be revealed and they are omnipresent.

Bit of an old video now but back then I noticed that Elyna was the name of an asteroid irl, so I thought that other than the reference to Elynas the father of Melusine, it could also be a reference to the asteroid since asteroids are made of rock like the names of Rhinedottir's other creations and they float around in space (abyss?) kinda like how Elynas was in the void before Rhinedottir found him

Amazing video. While I personally doubt that fatui are supposed to become gods of the new world (I guess their goal is more having a world without gods at all), the energy lorebits compilation and explanation is simply great. Thank you for this immense effort to put everything together

It all makes sense, the connections made in this video tie back to all the foundations set at the beginning and maybe the end if you are exactly right…
This theory video was genuinely one of the most biggest pieces of the puzzle that is genshin impacts story. Additionally, this video makes a lot of things weave together, more precisely, theories made by other genshin theorists such as chill with aster, ashikai and even obscure creators such as shadowx5452 gaming for example since they build more on the ideas expressed in this video. So if you haven’t you should check them out if you haven’t and if you want to know more genshin theorists just ask.
So, yeah this video had touched upon and built on some theories I had in my head but all had said things that I hadn’t even known existed. Awesome video! ❤
EXTREMELY well-put video. This was very comprehensive and packed with so much scattered information from Genshin that is either skipped or slips through mind after some time. This makes me so much more hyped to continue playing and see what the Fatui really are going to do, and my fondness for the character of Dottore after watching this video has increased so much. I was disappointed by Genshin's lack of exposition regarding the abyssal ooze in the chasm, the lumenstone's energy, Kvarena energy etc but watching you explain and piece everything together blew mind. It all makes so much sense. I hope you continue making these high quality theory videos.
this video albeit obviously due to how far it predicts things could be categorised as "crack" it still holds so much weight imo, also i guess it kinda adds some support to ashikai's video on dottore possibly appearing in the fontaine region as much as that seemed too crack. Wonderful job!
Such a good video, really helped me put together the lore I was struggling to connect. A couple questions and thoughts:
1. What was it that made Rene and Jakob connected to the Hydro Archon lotus that Karl and Carter did not possess?
2. Could the Oratrice be powered by the souls/bodies of those dissolved in the primordial sea? If it is a collective consciousness of dissolved people, it would make the Oratrice the "jury", which matches its function in the courtroom.
3. The common seelie seem to be closer to the color of Anemo, not blue/silver in color- is there something to that?
4. Mint is silvery blue and Sweetflower is gold- perhaps "A world where Mint and Sweetflower won't grow" is a world with no more Primal Energy, perhaps being completely consumed by Celestia, leaving only the Abyss
5. The description of the Tsaritsa from the Travail teaser makes so much sense in this context; she doesn't need people to have faith in her anymore, just the new god they create. Who has been traveling the whole world, resonating with all the elements, and gaining the faith of entire countries? Traveler.
6. You said that visions are aligned Primal Energy, which totally makes sense, but what determines a vision wielders "constitution" to be "aligned" with a certain element?
Regarding number 3: How are the Seelies closer to Anemo in colour? They are always blue...
@@RukkhaRukkha I just think they are closer to the Anemo color (blue-green) than they are the silver blue of the "prime energy" (Leylines, domain Irminsul, resin, Tsurumi souls, Deshret tech, etc.)
If you think about Geo, it can technically be called a creative power.
Noelle creates a shield around herself with her elemental skill, and lengthens her sword through Elemental burst.
Itto uses his creativity to throw Ushi from a different type of dimension (We never see him unless he summons him...), and his burst allows him to create a club from his claymore.
Albedo... need I say more? He's a being made of chalk, a being that was created from chalk, and can bring nearly anything to life through his creativity (Sketches)
Gorou can summon banner flags to rally the troops and embolden their resolve
Zhongli creates a pillar, and summons a meteor from the sky.
Ningguang summons geo rocks to attack, creates a screen to stop projectiles from hitting her, and ALSO creates guizhong ballistae for the jade chamber.
Yun Jin creates flags that heighten her performance, (adds flair for her creativity)
Geo Traveler also creates using their skill and burst.
TLDR; Geo is the closest to creative power that we can get so far.
One of the absolute best theories I've seen around here about Genshin lore, if not the best. This was SO entertaining, I'm looking forward to more!
I love seeing theories after part of a theory is disproved because it helps make ways for new answers. we have new information on the gnosis which doesn't disprove parts of this, but does change it a little. I'm excited to see how the theories in this (super long) video play out in new patches.
