  • We've only so much to give within the short time we have. Be not distracted, nor wasted by the many bright lights as truth, lays tucked within the shadows. Always remember that loving your own isn't the same as hating others. 🤝

    This is true.
Being aware of what's going on and knowing who's with you and who isn't is one important thing, but avoiding the trap of becoming overly fixated on that train of thought is equally important. I know for myself that I've still got fundamentals to get locked down before I'll be in any position to weather the storm successfully.
    Good vid.

I saw a video where an Amish guy explained their beliefs and one thing he said stood out to me. He said they view themselves as being "in the world but not of the world". I find that relating to that sentiment helps a lot to cope with the current situation. I may be walking around in this world with everyone else, but don't mistake me for being a part of it.

This cognitive overload was at first subtle for me as a Canadian. Being a relatively well settled British colony of European immigrant stock into the 1960's, it was for me only a peculiarity to come across non-Europeans through the early 1970's. By the 80's commonly in my neighbourhood and school, by the 90's the first forays into government, by the early 2000's diasporas large enough to possess financially influential lobbies and whole constituencies where they could easily win at every level of elected office, by the 2010's the desire and power to legislate themselves as quasi foundational members of the nation and open of the immigration flood gates, and by the 2020's, just as in the UK, to fashion themselves into the indigenous people of the land by banning the national identity of those prior to the 1960's.
If this doesn't cause your head to spin wondering how any of this made sense and was allowed to take place, then it is screwed on too tight.

Unfortunately, they’re foundational members of treasonous Trudeau’s ‘world’s first post-national country’

There's a lot of truth to this. I get worked up about things going on in society and then realize that I'm still just as lonely as before, and I have a job to get done.
