I decided on the t248, I've had it 3 days and it's excellent. Playing gt7 on psvr 2 is mind blowing
I own a G920 but i don’t own a PC no more so i have to decide whether to go with the reliable G29 or T248, i’m planning on playing GT7VR as well..
It's the reason I want a racing wheel I never felt the need to own a wheel but since I playd gt 7 vr I can't take my mind out of it I am guessing I ll go also for the t248
@@tasosm7x same here and before i never liked racing games that much but psvr2 and gt7 is gold. My t248 and playseat challenge is coming on Monday 😁

Excellent review. I have used both and came to the same conclusion.
The Logitec appears better built because of the metal and leather but mine had all sorts of issues. Thrustmaster is far better built and more durable with no issues after 7 months heavy use.
The feedback on the Thrustmaster is much better and much quieter. The Truforce thing on the Logitec did nothing for me and I didn’t miss it when using the Thrustmaster.
I do prefer the Logitec pedals but you can upgrade the Thrustmaster ones to the T-LCM or better so even that isn’t a big issue.
how can you upgrade the pedals?
@@oppenheimer11 i think you would just have to buy the new pedal set and either connect it to the wheelbase or use an adapter if needed to connect to the PC itself. I have no idea what happens with consoles
This was a perfect comparison video. Told me exactly what I needed to know. I thought you structured your topics very well and not once did I find myself fast forwarding; all components of your video were informative and essential to deciding. I feel you accurately outlined all the pros and cons with an unbiased view: and explained which opinions were subjective. I also agree with you….. based on your review I am deciding to go with the Thrustmaster for my sons’ (but really it’s also a present for me!) it’s too bad about the break pedal, but overall it appears to have less bugs than the Logitech and I think the realism will win over my teenagers. thank you for this video!

my choice was on the t 248 because we can put some platic GUM to densify the brake paddles. (and the feeling are seeing really good !) and the force feedback more immersive.

The LCD screen is nice ( get a wheel stand) u can find cheap ones for like $60-$100. I got a vevor wheel stand and screwed the wheel and pedals down and it’s very sturdy
I ordered the T-248 a few days ago so it hasn’t arrived yet but I keep watching comparison videos like this and cheer whenever they pick my wheel is chosen lol. The more I watch, the more I’m satisfied with my selection.

Ty great review just ordered a t248, does it negate the dead space of the g29, as chicanes are touch and go with quick wheel direction change waiting for the dead zone

I personally kept the T248 for the reasons I mention in my video. For me, it feels more realistic and has better FFB then the G923
Do anybody that got the T248 and changed the brake pedal spring (black one)? If so, does it feel better than the default one (silver one)?

Very nice review, thank you. What are your thoughts about the Thrustmaster feels a bit like a "toy" as some other reviewers have commented? I have a G27 and am thinking about purchasing the T248, mainly for the increase in FFB, is it worth it, you think?
The TM feels nothing like a toy. The FFB in it is incredible and way better then that of Logitech's G923. IMHO, yes, it is worth it to upgrade to the T248 but then again it is a matter of taste. Purchase it from somewhere where you can return it in case you don't like it, but I am sure you will like it.

I agree with the reviewer. Don’t worry about the plastic, the button layout on the TM is better, the feedback is a lot better, the TM pedals really aren’t that bad and can be upgraded. The Logitec is actually quite flimsy but most owners won’t admit that. I had 2, power unit went on one and wheel motors went on the other.

Great video ! g923 is currently $100 less than t248 -is it worth it at that price or should I still go with t248

in 2024 now they have a less expensive shifter and also you could use the black spring without the rubber thats what people like the most
Hello, I was watching a lot of comparisons between the g923 and the t248, I almost decided on the t248 but I saw a video where if you played with the force feedback at 100% the steering wheel would break and not work. Also in the comments of the video they said that this had also happened to them, what opinion can you give me after a long time of use? sorry for my english I'm using google translator
What I can tell you is that I have been using the T248 for about 6 months now and it is working fine. I put the FFB at 75% because at 100% it is way too hard.
can i use logitect shfiter in t248? by using adapter. is taht possible?
Never tried it but I don't think so. What I know is that if you have a PC, you can use aftermarket shifters that connect to the USB port of the PC.

@@ChekzthisoutTV you should be able to use the logitech gear leaver without any issue. Considering it was never shipped with the wheel, it should work fine with any wheel without a need for an adapter. I've seen a lot of setuos that use it with a thrustmaster wheel.

I want to buy t248 but i dont know if i can play assetto corsa ultimate edition but it has to be ultimate edition bcs my frends have it
Go to Assetto's website and see if they support the T248 on their Ultimate version

Im also between these two, they are the exact price at my country. Long term which will last better tho? I want to keep the wheel as long as possible without any issues.
What I can say is that I'm still using the T248 until today and it is still working great
