  • You can go island hopping in Croatia with on an organised boat tour, rent your own yacht or explore the country by land/ ferry.
We flew into Zegreb Airport and from there hired a car and drove to Plitvice lakes. We spent 2 nights @ Hotel Degenija. Two days were more then adequate to explore the lakes.
We then drove to Split and spent 2 nights there exploring the town. Make sure you get some Luka ice-cream.
On Day 5 we got on the ferry to Hvar. We hired a cottage and spent 2 days exploring the old town and beautiful beach coastlines.
Day 7, we got the ferry to Korcula for 3 nights. This is a beautiful little town, a lot quieter than Hvar, we cycled, enjoyed wine tasting, and delicious local cuisines.
Day 10 , we got the ferry to Dubrovnik and spent our last 3 nights there and flew back from Dubrovnik Airport. Plenty to do in Dubrovnik. Walking the city walls, short ferry to Lokrum island especially if a Games of Thrones fan, cable car for the highest point, live musical performance etc.
