Day 1 - Porto Rotondo,

Day 2 - Capo Testa - Sardinia's best hiking & walking route
- Santa Teresa Gallura - Explored town center & stayed here
to take ferry to Corsica first thing in the morning
Day 3 - Original plan was a day trip to Corsica by ferry

Thank's, gives us a nice impression of the main spots in the North and of the distances, traveltime between, we booked a 2 week holiday by (rented) car the last week of june and first week of july, and booked some hotels in advance, (we saw the prices went up the last weeks), see our video's of Sicily by car
I am Sardinian and I loved your video! Thank you for sharing your trip! You missed the amazing beach of La Pelosa in north west Sardinia, also you missed Valle dell’Erica on north east near capotesta; you also missed the pink beach on Budelli little island, and the La Maddalena island off Palau and it is a pity you did not take a guided tour inside a nuraghe, our pre-historic mysterious constructions. But your video is fantastic! Thank you so much!

We went end of May for one week. Beautiful weather, just perfect as you can see from the video. The only issue we had was one windy day in Capo Testa, but apart that it was great! Have a lovely time!
Hi travelling out to Sardinia soon. Just wondering what's the most reliable car rental company? Reading some bad reviews online.
Hi Fraz, thanks for your question. We know what you mean, we read the same stuff, got a little scared and prebooked Europcar (expensive, for sure, but immaculate car and great service). When you reach Olbia airport there is a car rental hall. All the big players (Hertz, Euro, Avis etc) are extremely busy. The cheaper local guys were seeing almost no one at all. Sorry we can't give you more reassurance...we always hire local everywhere else we've travelled but they had no customers to even give us an opinion! A little tip (sorry if you already know!) but buy an excess waiver policy before you go...it's crazy cheaper than getting it there. Have a great time, please comment back when you've been, we'd love to hear about it (very envious of you!).
+Bijal Patel thanks for the quick response bijal. Ye I read on a forum about the excess waiver. Got a quote from www.carhireexcess.com for like £18 for the 10 days. Pretty cheap. Thanks again for the help

was it too expensive to stay and eat in sardinia??
It was definitely cheaper than the rest of Italy, it also depends on when you go and where you eat.
Should be no different from main land Europe. The food and wine is some of the best in the world
