they make you wait because they are checking car for issues during transport or any issues in assembly so they can fix it. You didn't do a check of everything, like gaps, broken items, just making sure everything works. you need to do that soon as possible.
I flew from Okc to KC Missouri (5.5 drive) my tesla was only charged to like 60% also. I asked them to charge it all the way up b/c I was traveling back to Okc and they did. Congrats on the new Tesla!!
@@dhiyyahamina I actually got a really awesome deal with a price adjustment of $5,800.. for $51K before the tax credit I got the 20inch rims, tow hitch & 7 seater for $703😆🤣🍾. I kinda like this style better because I really like the fog lights and with the new refresher they integrated the fogs in the actual headlight🤦🏾🤷🏾♂️.
They wouldn't charge it to 100% because it's bad on the battery if you're not going on a road trip/long drive. 80% charge is the new recommendation for daily driving. Also, the car is always on unless the battery is totally dead.
Plz don’t listen to this person. Please read your manual and do your own research . The car does go to “sleep” and you have a new battery with different chemistry. You can charge to 100% and it’s not bad for you. -Model 3 performance owner
@@DiamondEyes84 you need to read your manual. I have 2 teslas. You need to keep up with the updates if you have a performance. The only Tesla that can be charged to 100% daily is the standard range with the LFP batteries.
