- I've never seen one of these things before, and neither have you - it's a top of the range lock made for the Chinese domestic market. We strip it and find out that it's not as good as it looks, and we learn a bit about construction keying. With massive thanks to Frank, who put me on to this lock and bought it for me in China.

That is great!!! Lovely dissection!!
Great videio Michael!! Found the construction key very interesting instead of ball method. 👍👍👍👍🧡
Not as complex as one might think after a quick look at that key, but not that simple of a lock either ! Really neat lock. Love your videos Micheal, really informative !
Michael I just love the way you dig down deep and explain whats inside and how these locks work. You always have me glued. As far as the lock goes its Chinese what do you really expect my friend lol.
Thanks for your kind words Bobby. But yeah, the Chinese stuff always lets itself down one way or another.
Looks like an interesting lock. Looking forward to the picking video.
What Bobby said 👍
Still not bad for a chinese lock. Looking forward to seeing it picked. Thanks for sharing Michael.
As someone still coming to grips with a Master 140 znd a 50mm laminated Delta from Aldi you lost me at "I am about to do something..."
Hahaha, no problem. I'm in the same boat as far as picking. Keep at it.👍🏻
Keep at it Roy, you'll get there.
Great video, I was very disappointed when I gutted it last year, but I kind of understand since it's a lot cheaper than Mul-T-Lock...
Yeah, I was surprised as well. A thousand thanks for sourcing this Frank, it's been great fun looking at this thing.
Great to see another informative lock video. Atleast Chinesiums are getting better.... somewhat.🤓🍺✌
Yeah, the domestic ones are definitely better than the ones made for export...but I haven't seen anything with quality approaching the best european stuff unfortunately.
Ace buddy 😎😎😎😘😘👍🍺
Great explanation. Really like the way you nut it all out and explain it so well,
I like the lock, looks like it would be good for a newbie like me to practice pin in pin picking.
Do you know the cost of this lock compared to the original equivalent Mult-T-Lock, cheers
This lock is about RMB350, or USD$50.
Interesting as always! Is it just my screen, or does the inner key pin in 2 also unusual?
It's got a kind of pointy end, yeah. This has no useful function as far as I could see.
woo first
Finally beat Tipine ,
Nice video
Excellent explanation of the lock but.....a) please record your videos in true HD 1080p quality.... and b) as I understand, there is no Chinese lock without some kind of deceiving .....
Chris - yeah I hear you on the HD thing. I really don't know why the quality isn't as good as it should be and I'm chasing this because it annoys the tits off me as well.
Interactive (alpha) is to prevent reproducing key from pictures No?
Annnnnd... about 6 weeks/months after you break the "construction" pin and start using the "ABSOLUTELY STUPID & IN NO WAY CLEVER" lock for real.. the broken off portion turns, is suddenly a different height, and jams the damned lock, and you have to get a locksmith out on emergency in the middle of the night.. frankly it's both cheaper and a better idea to specify a cheap lock for "construction".. then get your locksmith to fit a decent reliable one later when you move in.... Or change them yourself, changing euro cyls is so easy even a MILLENNIAL can do it.... hell even a girl millennial
