    Really great video and approach to growth vs just ROAS and reselling the same customers with your ad spend over and over again. Great work!

    Hi John, awesome AWESOME content. I have been watching your videos for quite a bit now. I admire your passion it seems you have for google ads and I love how much you enjoy it. I am a little new into ads as my background is in SEO. Do you ever have ways of reaching out to your viewers and answering certain questions? Such as a community discord? Thanks in advance and keep up the great content!

    Interesting.. do you just exclude converters? If so, how is that possible with PMAX?

      Hey! Sorry, this is a long video and not sure which part your mentioning, could you elaborate a bit?

      @@johnmoran5680 hi John thank you. Toward the end (unless I misunderstood) you mentioned you totally changed this clients campaigns to not be charged for existing customer clicks. I didn’t hear how you solved it, particularly with pmax campaigns. How did you tell the campaign to ignore existing customers? I know I’m a standard campaign you can create an audience based on buyers and simply exclude that audience in the campaign. I may be all wrong!! Thanks again John in advance for you explaining this.

      @@PeterDunbar He didn't quite say here but 1: PMax allows you to select New Customer Acqusition only. In Any case you can always exclude audiences from any campaign, so an email list, web visitors list, etc.

      @PeterDunbar Před rokem

      @@trevoranderson2803 yep I found the setting!! Pmax doesn’t allow you to do exclusions unless I am wrong and there is a workaround?

    Is there a reason why you can't calculate CAC like: Total customers for given timeframe x (1-returning customer rate) x AOV divided by total ad spend ? I understand Northbeam is better but this seems like a solid back of the napkin solution?

    • @johnmoran5680
      @johnmoran5680 Před rokem

      Yes, you absolutely can! But, you have to figure out your branded keywords and omnichannel performance. If people are seeing your brand on Facebook and not clicking and coming to your site directly that performance max is remarketing, that is what northbeam will tell you. So, they tell you the path to which you acquired that new customer, not how many you have total.

      I wish! We have tried multiple times, but, it only tracks it to the last click attributed channel and only about 60% of the time for some reason. We have tried tracking events, destination goals, etc.

    I think not spy members should be invited to these sessions
    Hopefully Northbeam has a feature to see the sources so you can filter out other agencies
