I just realized the reason behind the red, green, and yellow soots. Remember when Marty got stuck in 1885 and the only means of getting the dalorian, or however you spell it, up to 88 miles an hour was through the train, but it couldn't maintain that speed with the normal logs and coal, so Doc made some special three stage logs, one was green, one was yellow, and the last one was red. The smoke changed color according to the colored logs put in.
Just what i thought
The colored soot is from the fuel tha doc puts in the train to bring the steam temp up and go 88 mph and i think that is in the third movie.
Yep! Each color was a different speed booster. This helped the train move faster to get the DeLorean up to speed. Then after the DeLorean gose through time. We get to see the time train a little bit later in the movie.
This takes me back. I remember seeing all three back to the future movies in theatre. Like the attention to detail with ELB on the side. Emmett Lathrop Brown my favourite mad scientist character of all time.
9:22 the special logs they burned in the movie were green yellow and red.
I loved seeing these. Back to the Future part 3 is one of my all time favorite movies. So seeing the train made me giddy. Thanks Drae for doing this!

Drae so disappointed that you don’t know the reference of the different colored bombs that doc throws into the train burner to get up to speed. The detail in this game is amazing
I've watched the movies 3 or 4 times and I never even realized Doc did that, so I was wondering what was up with the colored soot myself.
It’s so weird but if i watch your videos in the evening, it helps me fall asleep 😂

Pretty much, they used 3 colors on it. If i remember it was the train pushing the delorean. Dunno if they were the same train doubt it tho, but nice detail.
@@GR.455 the train pushing the delorean was a regular train & also it fell off a cliff. It could be rebuilt & upgraded tho so I guess it could be

Great DLC
I love how satisfying this game is to play. I play REEEEAL slow to maximize each level. I spend hours on every level using only the yellow attachment and go 1 part at a time. I've never done the far away mass coverage cause that just ends the level too quickly 😅
The colored soot references the 3 colored bombs they used on the train to get it go faster to push the delorean
Not only doc's locomotor is black, but so is pretty much 99% of all steam locomotors ever built.
My favorite part of back to the future parts 3 the time train and my favorite line

Yeah this is great that they have a little bit of references from movies and TVs series in this game but there was one small detail that was incorrect and It's the fact that there was the wrong ground texture under the train and the railroad ties were not visible and there's no parts of the DeLorean lying around.
Other than that the train is accurate to the movie.
You know the one thing they're missing in this game from this DLC is Biff's car covered in manure.
They truely missed the chance to let you clean the 50s cabriolet from all the poop
I don't know if this was on purpose or a happy coincidence and a Michael J. Fox/Family Ties reference, but there WAS a Production Assistant named Alexander on Back to the Future Part 2.

for a train to classify as a train you need 1 locomotive and at least 1 car tenders don't count but reactors I don't know I assume they don't count either sense its required for it to move like the tender 9:03
