Like her or Not.... Debi Thomas was the best at this World Competiton. Strong at Figures, the Short Program and good Long. KATARINA was bad at Figures..botched her Triple Jump Combination in the Short....and had No Triple Loop in her LP. LIZ was up and down and that's just the Truth. BACK THEN .... Figure Skating was Not just a Gymnastics/Triple Jump----You had to be Strong at All (or have the Judges in your hip Pocket like WITT) Competiton.
Great short programs by Elizabeth Manley and by Tracey Wainman. A great year for Canadian ladies' skating.
Tracy deserved 1st place in the short.
