Amen! AND I find it intriguing that ALL are gathered in Matthew 25, while the Matthew 24 event reveals SOME gathered, and others LEFT, perhaps showing these as distinctly different events.

Great teaching! This truth makes amillennialism and postmillennialism impossible since these positions assert that Jesus is now reigning from the Davidic throne in His millennial kingdom in this age.

Professor Vlach. Could I just ask for a clarification. When Jesus Christ comes again at the end of the tribulation and separates the sheep from the goats. Will that be in Jerusalem and what will happen to the believers who do not live in Israel. Please answer me this because it’s something I’m unsure of. Thank you

Mr. Vlach, what are your thoughts on progressive dispensationalists saying that the Davidic throne and the heavenly throne were merged into a single throne? I tend to agree with progressive dispensationalists, but this is one point that I disagree with them on. As I understand it, the Davidic throne is an earthly throne that Jesus Christ will reign from during the Millennial Kingdom, whereas the heavenly throne is the throne upon which Jesus is presently sitting in Heaven at the right hand of the Father.

If Matt 24 & 25 are the same coming, does this mean that the rapture is a 3rd coming and on the white horse is a 4th coming?
