    Thanks for sharing. People will be able take into considerations when they are doing renovations in the future. I personally like this kind of video which gives the pros and cons of various designs or setups. This is really helpful cause it will be able to help people from doing the same mistakes and what to look out for in the future. Nice Video. Hope to see more.....

    I think the wife made quite good points about the regrets. Don’t get why the husband keeps contradicting her and trivialising her points…

    You can scrub laminate tops.
    Simply use any kitchen grease cleaning spray solution or dish detergent and let it sit on the stain for 5-10mins, scrub the stain using the rough green side of a dish sponge.
    Laminates are very hardy as long as it's just a targeted scrub and a wipe-off with a moist cloth, it will be easy to maintain. My laminate top is cleaned this way and it's close to 15yrs old.
    For deep cleaning, I use liquid clothes detergent - Dynamo. Just spread a little on the laminate, let it sit for a short while, and scrub with a wet scrub. Works like a charm.

    for your showerhead regret. u can very easy unscrew the top portion of the pole slightly. den flip it and screw it back. takes less den 5 mins. there is a Cap which hides the screw. uncap it and unscrew slightly will do.

    I actually put the Eubliq quite close to the countertop just behind all the appliances in the countertop so that you don’t see the wire going up all over the wall.

    • @SherBooga
      @SherBooga  Před 2 lety

      Yup. One concern of ours is that the lower the track goes, the appliances will be forced to take a larger table area. But thinking back, it may be better if we lowered it by about 30-50cm.

    • @pinnocio09
      @pinnocio09 Před 3 měsíci

      Thb dont have to go that low, if you know the model of the appliances you’re getting then check the height get an average ~ + another 10-20cm good enough

    Thanks for sharing. Regarding the tile grout in the bathroom,I believe there is no need to worry about water seeping through as the waterproofing membrane takes care of it. It is also possible to regrout the tiles without having to first hack/replace that tiles. Also it may actually be a good thing that you can no longer charge your phone right next to your bed - less exposure to radiation when in bed! 😅

    Hi enjoyed the video currently going through my renovation as well. Contemplating to get a water dispenser but there's so many option to choose from. Can I check if you enjoyed your water dispenser if not wrong I saw Wells the One. Was there like any issues? Like unable to put big bottle or water flow too slow. Was it drilled on the countertop? Their tank is concealed in your bottom cabinet right? And how often you have to change the filter?

    • @SherBooga
      @SherBooga  Před 2 lety

      Hello, will address the questions one by one.
      There's a certain max height for bottles but it's the same for most water dispensers.
      Water flow pretty standard but definitely slower than hand pouring from a kettle. You can test the water flow at their show room, but do take note the water flow is also dependent on where you do the water inlet as well.
      It's drilled into our counter top.
      The tank is concealed below.
      Iirc it's mentioned to change once every year or 15months and the staff will contact you when it's time to change.
      Overall quite happy with the dispenser itself. One thing to note is that if you want cold water, the tank is a little bigger. Another point to consider is that you need to provide water outlet as well.

    nowadays people use SPC flooring. may i know why you didn't use SPC?

    • @SherBooga
      @SherBooga  Před 2 lety

      Because our floor needs levelling and screeding before we can go for vinyl. So in the end, the cost is the similar for tiles which is more durable.

    is there a way that the wardrobe doors can be flipped, assuming that the location of the hinges are symmetrical along the length of the door panels?

    • @SherBooga
      @SherBooga  Před 2 lety

      Not really because of how the skeletal structure of the wardrobe is formed as it is in an awkward location. But we've grown accustomed to it 😅

      @@eugeneysaye2685most tiles r made from China n they r big tiles now whether for floor or showers. It’s the person doing the tiles that you should be concern with, a good tiler will use tile leveller on every piece of tile laid so the floor will b seamless.
