Great to build when during winter when it's dark at 5 and your full size rig is buried in snow! Great fun to have the rc trucks when you're hanging out on the trail, too! Plus it's a good way to learn about suspension geometry and other helpful stuff that translates to full size

Chief Shawn! I believe those two rods on the front bumper are so that Rory can tell exactly where the outside dimensions of his truck are, because the hood looks like it makes a V??? Love the scenery; and how well-rounded the rocks are from the wind; the sand and perhaps the water from eons before! Rory drives a 5 inch truck the same way he drives trail meter with lots of care, lots of love! Wisconsin

Rory you guys are always getting it done! That piece on the 4wd lever almost looks like the horn off of a saddle. I think the push on the new rig is from the auto trans. I've always found that the manual trans holds better for me on decent. How about getting Shawn to give this new rig a native american name.

Those recoverys , for you , they are so easy to look at, You just go and get them out, looking easy. That RC part thow was really fun to watch, more of that, thank you. One more thing I wish of your videos, find someone to take aerial footage with drone of those trails you are driving to recover those who did not get out on their own. Even few times a month, it would be really nice to see where you are working, and driving to.
Those are bumper poles and usually have marker lights on them. That way you know where your front bumper is when parking is tight spots. I see yours has small heims joints instead of lights.
My Unimog 404s have them. Mercedes calls them "narrow passage wands". They're pretty much necessary on a Mog as you can't see anything else forward of the windshield when seated.
