This was very helpful, I especially appreciated the fact that you did a lot of repeating. I personally do not like "word problems" but you made this seem very easy.... Thank you!
When i calculating time i convert time into degrees and the remaining point will multiply to 60 and that is my final answer, different from yours bcoz u convert first the minutes,, is my so lution still correct?
Use your mental math. If you get it wrong you will be way off and your mental math will let you know where you should be. If you convert 45 minutes to hour it will be about .75 hours. It's like looking at an analog clock.
0:14 #1 What is your speed if it takes 2.15hrs to travel 32 nautical miles? 3:01 #2 If you travel 3.8 nautical miles, for 45mins what is your speed? 4:45 #3 How long will it take to travel 38 nm at 12 knots? 7:08 #4 Youre turning for 15 knots how far will you travel for 1hr and 37 mins? 9:41 #5 If you leave at 1000 with a speed of 11 knots, what time will you arrive alight 25 miles away? 13:26 #6 You depart at 930 and arrive 1054, if the distance was 21 nm what is the speed? 17:13 #7 You depart at 2100 hrs if your turning 15 knots, how far would you have travelled at 2250?
