This is a very good score, 1st place globally. This is the true 1st place on the leaderboards as well, but there are 8 people above me with the band fail glitch. I don't care too much about in game leaderboards, so that doesn't bother me much; it's pretty obvious which scores aren't legit. I can still improve this score, however. The solo activation at 2:32 can be moved forward to the Y B before the one I activated on to get another 100 points. The only hard part about that is getting the overlap at 2:45. The only other place I can see more points is on the last activation. You could probably activate like 2 or 3 notes earlier than I activated on (which was the Y hopo, but I missed the front end), but it's really hard to time the back end because of the lane. I don't really know how back ends of lanes work in terms of giving you points. I don't think you can really squeeze those. Regardless, you could easily get another 200 for sure, and maybe 300 or even 400.
I fully expected this to be blocked in most countries because I uploaded a run of this song at the same time as my old Crazy Train video that got blocked to like 60% of my viewership. So far this one is perfectly viewable for everybody, so let's hope it stays that way. Buuuut just in case, here's a version with external audio that was recorded in real time with the run:

FINALLY no ridiculous comments about what tier a song should be in! There's truly no debate with this one.
A permanent staple of every high school jazz band
best song in the game
NunoVH this is no surprise coming from you tbh
very much agreed
Best song of all time.
Damn and I was just playing this song on pro guitar... creepy, phenomenal song
Rip Kobe Bryant dude
Well, this year is starting out just freakin' GREAT, huh? We lost Neil Peart of Rush, Ray Burton (Cliff Burton's father), and now Kobe?! WHAT NOW?!
@@JNewsted1988 have you heard what's happened to some of the surviving members of The Mars Volta? Heartbreaking.
Brian Kaslewicz I’m interested
absolute bop
This song is deceptively difficult.
If this song was on Rock band 1 it would have had a big rock ending at the end haha
Free Bird is next cause it’s the Last song in the entire Guitar Section.
This song is so good but the solos are so hard. Fun to play though.
One of my favorite songs of all time. Also do drums, can get a workout for the legs
Superb performance!
Oof, now this one seems to be a really hard song with those solos. Sounds like a nice song, and good job getting 1st place on this :)
P.s: the end looked like a bre, glad it isn't.
P.s2: just one more song left to finish RB3, and it's Free bird.
Keep it up bro!
Good job man the solos are weird as hell
Ugh I love this song, but holy hell is the charting abysmal in these solos. There are way too many random strum into HOPO sections in this song on top of the pointless trill lanes. I would love to grind out an FC but the game's engine on top of all the bad charting just frustrates me out of being able to.
my 14th brithday is here.
Happy birthday sir
happy 14th brithday
I'll tell you what I got tomorrow
The lanes and the bit at 2:19 just ruin the whole song
They're quite annoying indeed
Free bird is the last song after this
Guitar Hero Van Halen is after this? (After Free Bird I mean)
indeed
[Insert brainstew by green day joke here]
Fuck me, that GS cutoff is ridiculously high!
3:03 >>>>> TTFAF
ok uh question why is it so hard to find videos of the fail glitch
how do you play the special notes like during the solo and the very ending
Those are trill lanes. They make the fretting easier without going too fast, and strum lanes can making strumming easier without alt-strumming that fast.
can you do try to make it with rb4 songs too
I have all the RB4 disc songs uploaded already. I uploaded them when the game first came out
rb4 disc songs
Nope. Nothing to say here for this one.
why were the trills highlighted
Those are trill lanes. It's used for sections that are kind of ambiguous on what the chart should be. You can hit as many or as few notes as you want (within reason)
@@aWiseMoose Yeah, but they're broken as all hell in this game though.
@@VreyIsGrey this is very true. They're better in RB4, but they're still not perfect
Actually since _Rock Band 3_ the trills have been highlighted because of a gameplay mechanic introduced in that game. With these new-style (well, they _were_ new to the series when _RB3_ first came out) highlighted sections you would not lose a streak if a note was just a little off (but you would if you were considerably off), but there was a bonus if your timing was dead on throughout a single trill.

Why the fuck are there so many grace notes in this
