I think it's sweet how when Jake realizes Etukan is Neytiri's father he tried to shake his hand like a boyfriend who meets their girlfriend's father for the first time
I always liked Mo’at because she was always the most open-minded. For starters, she learned English when it seems like not everybody did to communicate with the Sky People, she decided to give Jake a chance to learn to be one of them, and in the end she saved Jake and Grace when Hometree fell because she trusted them.
That scene where she comes up to Jake who’s tied up, with a knife in her hand and pleads with tears in her eyes "if you are one of us, help us" always breaks my heart.
No she’s a tribe princess so it’s it’s still her responsibility anyways . It’s teaching a child responsibility. Really? He always seems hostile to me and upon learning he's a warrior he became more like 'Ah I thought you are just another one of those disgusting sky people demons but now I know you are a warrior Im gonna bully you now'
1:54 It’s cool how Tsu’Tey’s reaction revealed to Jake that he speaks English, and also how Eytukan only learned that Jake was a warrior from Tsu’Tey saying it in Na’vi.
I always wondered why they didn’t give more Marines avatars from the beginning. The Na’Vi are a warrior race that value fighting strength and honor just much as their other traditions. They would obviously have more respect for a fellow warrior, hence Jake assimilating so easily. I bet the scientists and pencil pushers got in their own way half the time.
because the avatars were incredible expensive so they were build only for influential people not everyday soldiers. Just like real life soldiers only do the dirty work and get none of the glory
Well, maybe it's because of what they do makes them the most suitable choice for missions on Pandora. Marines are more capable of handling rough, uncertain terrain on warzones. Besides, marines are more the expeditionary type field of military combat. other military forces which are rarely given missions like infiltrating enemy zones, nowadays they were often given only the task to patrol and protect their turf. Marines on the other hand, are different side of the story. they were on the offensive side during the war. Also, Marines are literally the Army, Air Force and Navy in one, so they could be chosen due to their massive fields, and are a lot more useful on Pandora unlike the others who had only one.
@@ethanloming001 Lol, your misinformation is showing. Ever heard that the Rangers lead the way? Because it true. Rangers are legally starved half to death and immediately almost drowned to death just in the training to become a Ranger. They are sent on more infiltration missions than any other part of the military, they are issued beards and Polo shirts to blend in with the population, but when they are sent in as a combat unit they snap to every angle always watching their friends back. Look, all I have to say is I have seen more female Marines than I have seen female Rangers. It's mainly because the training, women when they get dirt in their vagina have a hard time, men don't have that problem
Well the reason why Jake could assimulate so easy is because unlike his fellow humans he saw the world from a different perspective due to his disability. Things others took for granted like walking he didn't hence how the first thing he did was run away from the scientists when he was in his avatar the first time. Which is why he didn't have much trouble learning the ways of the Navi since he was more open then the marines would be to learning their ways.

Wow, the greeting in na’vi by netiri to her father saying, “I see you.” Clearly a call back to the Zulu tribe in South Africa, their greeting being “Sawubona” meaning literally “I see you“, being educated on various tribes in Africa it’s really hard to miss the influence it has in this movie. From the greeting, to the beaded corset/shawl worn by Mo’at, to the insanely slender tall bodies modeled after the Dinka, the same tribe who created the Beaded shawl btw. And of course the braids, box braids, Ethiopian and fulani style braids and the beaded crowns worn by various Na’vi. I love it. This must of been how in the sequel trailers you can see tons of soldier Avatars/Na’vi. The RDA must of learned from Jake you can be a more powerful soldier if you’re both human AND a Na’vi/Avatar.
There’s gotta be hostile Na’Vi tribes that fight the peaceful ones right? I mean, why would they have warrior clans if there was nobody to fight before the humans appeared?
I’m sure that has happened before in their history. Probably the past toruk maktos helped to restore the peace. Just how there were peaceful and hostile Native American tribes. And still the case in the Amazon, the Indo-Pacific region (New Guinea) and the Sentinelese.
@@chasecreamer727 Yeah. There’s this widely held but false idea that all Native Americans were peaceful before settlers arrived, but they waged war and pillaged enemy tribes just like any other people.
@@chasecreamer727 since Quaritch and the RDA are coming back in the sequel, I wouldn't be surprised if they joined forces with other Na'vi tribes that hate the Omitacaya and the ocean people because in real life colonizers did that divide and conquer tactic with various tribes in Africa and the Americas against other tribes throughout history
Well of course they did fight if you ask me or else the Toruk Makto wouldn't be needed to unite them 6 times in their history too. I wouldn't say the "aggressive vs the peaceful". I should say they are living beings and all living beings from animals to humans tend to fight each other for one reason or another. It is the only natural. I think their own dark side should he seen more. We did see a fragment to the comics that got released.

Until then, all the Avatars were scientists who thought they knew everything I think and Jake was the first warrior turned Avatar (who had no science experience). And the navi were warriors so learning from a warrior from the sky people would've been helpful.

My father is deciding whether to kill you.
JAKE
Your father? It’s nice to meet you, sir.
TSU’TEY
Saa!
NEYTIRI
Kehe!
No!
WARRIORS
[Hostile Shouting]
MO’AT
Tsaswiräti lonu! Aynga neto rivikx. Fìketuwongti oel stìyeftxaw.
Release this creature! Step back. I will look at this alien.
NEYTIRI
That, is Mother. She is Tsahik-the one who interprets the will of Eywa.
JAKE
Who’s Eywa?
MO’AT
What are you called?
JAKE
Jake Sully.
MO'AT
Why did you come to us?
JAKE
I came to learn.
MO'AT
We have tried to teach other Sky People. It is hard to fill a cup which is already full.
JAKE
My cup is empty, trust me. Just ask Doctor Augustine. I’m no scientist.
MO'AT
What are you?
JAKE
I was a Marine-a uh, warrior. Of the, Jarhead clan.
TSU’TEY
Tsamsiyu pak? Pot tsun oe tspivang nìftue!
A warrior? I could kill him easily!
EYTUKAN
Kehe! Fìpo lu 'awvea, uniltìranyu-tsamsiyu, a tsole'a ayoengal. Pori awngaru lu tìkin, a nume nì’ul.
No! This is the first warrior dreamwalker we have seen. We need to learn more about him.
CROWD
Srane.
Yes.
MO’AT
Ma ’ite, awngeyä fya’ori zene nga sänume sivi poru, fte tsivun pivlltxe sì tivìran nìayoeng.
My daughter, you will teach him our way, to speak and walk as we do.
NEYTIRI
Oeru pelun? Ke lu muiä.
Why me? That's not fair.
MO’AT
Fkol pole'un fì'ut!
It has been agreed!
NEYTIRI
[Hisses]
MO’AT
It is decided. My daughter will teach you our ways. Learn well, Jake Sully. Then we will see if your insanity can be cured.

GRACE
Jake! Jake! Jake. Jake! Come on back kid. Come on. That’s it. There you go, there you go. There you go. You’re okay. okay. Damn, you were dug in like a tick. Is the avatar safe?
JAKE
Yeah Doc. And you’re not gonna believe where I am.
thanks for this one omg, i'm learning the language
@@brianorozco1074 yes i am using the exact same website!
God damn
@@llamazarecool "fuck off" maybe
Thank you for this! I bet it took some time lol.
its so weird watching this now after watching jakes and neytiris kids call her grandma and them all acting like a family
They are a family ⁉️🧠🚫
Yeah, I like when Neteeryi growls, and then, too, when Jake clumsily trips and falls on other Avatars' tails. (Omg, and if you missed it, he's pickin' a wedgie, at 2:55 !!!) bahahaha
Small cirrection, he steps on a Navi tail. Not an avatar's
0:48 jake reminds me of my bf when my dad was glaring at him and he was like “nice to meet you dad”
I am so excited that the franchise is going to have the way of water movie this December along with three more sequels in the future!!!
The 3rd is already being made and a 4th will come. Probably even more
Ah yes Wes Studi, Amazing actor, Loved him in Geronimo, Last of the Mohicans, and Heat and much more
This movie storyline was one of the best I’ve seen.. Well written
the way he's more scared of her mom 😭😭 and he kept looking back and forth like 👀👀👀
I laughed when he walked on that girl's tail😂
Quite a good film. So amazing.
This must of been how in the sequel trailers you can see tons of soldier Avatars/Na’vi. The RDA must of learned from Jake you can be a more powerful soldier if you’re both human
AND a Na’vi/Avatar.
My favorite movie since a baby
Nature is wild, dangeros and feroceous. thats why you need warriors, real world tribes have.
I LOVE when mo’at speaks!!!
“Why me? That’s not fair”
I never neytiri would say that😂
'' Oh your father? Nice to meet you sir- " *goes for handshake*
Na'Vi: AYOOO EXCUSE ME DO NOT TOUCH OUR GOLDEN KING WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD DO THAT!?
1:59 It's funny he says this yet later on, Jake beats the shit out of him.
And this was when i first realized Tsu’tey definitely understand english 😆
Yeah I find this scene hilarious Tsu’tey is such an impulsive arrogant warrior very confident lol
“good evening 🧍♂️”
A warrior of the jarhead clan lol
The music 🎶 is so captivating like whoooooah!
Like you may not make it back or, you may not nothing? Oooooh
I love this movie
The way that 1 na'vi acted when Jake stepped on it's tail 🤣
3:15 my favourite part.
The whole reason I learnt to move my ears is cut of this movie
I could wiggle my ears
2:02 Why was the chieftain suddenly interested in Jake upon realizing he was a warrior?
Until then, all the Avatars were scientists who thought they knew everything I think and Jake was the first warrior turned Avatar (who had no science experience). And the navi were warriors so learning from a warrior from the sky people would've been helpful.
The fact this man he could kill him easily and then later he got humbled in like 2 seconds
Love the Tsahiks it almost sounds identical to Psychic. So Avatars have Psychics, called Tsahiks. And I adore each and everyone of these women. I wish they treated Doctor Grace Augustine like a Tsahik/Psychic. She was a scientist, and we know scientists are able to see with more than just eyes.
Meeting The Tribe
0:18 I just noticed they exchange a polite smile
3:09 When you step on a cat's tail.....
Na’vis are supposed to have some cat like characteristics like specially with their ears and tails
@@Nicholas_Chen_ Facial wise they could pass as Cheetahs.
,,hey how you doing ? " 😂😂😂
This scene cracks me up everytime i watch it
This scene you sense tension
They only need what they know what many other May destroy for only what they’re wanting from all of the Navi
Netirys dad and tsu'tey are friends so how are they all famliy
0:49 this ain’t earth bro.
3:08-3:10
😂 her poor tail
The thing that bugged me out was when Jake said he was from the “jarhead” clan- he could’ve easily said he was a marine/warrior from New York (or wherever he was from)! Maybe it’s bc he was under pressure but at the same be realistic 😭
Jake is so much more mature in the sequel
Ofcourse he's father now and came a long way
Where's the scene of Neytiri tells Jake her name?
“Mother why me that’s not fair AGHHH” lol
I like this clan.
Me too
Bro really smiled at Jake then proceeded to talk shit immediately afterwards
I go thru this all the times
0:32 🤣🤣🤣
Neytiri’s mom touching Jake’s hair and tail is my favorite part
4:28 wwohhhh👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿 dialogue 👌🏿 👏🏿 🙌🏿
Mi favorita
when jake want to handshake with neytiri father but..🗿
jake:i just want a handshake🗿
It’s nice to meet you sir
Well they did cure Jake Sulley’s insanity.
Her mother was nice she told him what his name was ❤😊
When Neytiri found out she had to teach him
warrior of the Amy ranger
Mo’at looks like ronal in avatar 2 when she was checking the sully kids.
WHO'S READY TO WATCH AVATAR 2 NEXT MONTH...
Edit : I am Back it was so amazing Sequel
Oh! Oh! Oh! Me! Me! Me! I am ready to watch Avatar 2 this month!
0:38
Love Moat Jake Sooooly 🤣
Avatar is pretty much a sci-fi version of pocahontas
😭😭😭
you say this like it's an unpopular opinion
i just realized the same scene kinda repeats in avatar 2 cz tonowari also says to aonung to teach them and both aonung and neytiri kinda gets mad about it but both parents say "it is decided"
