1/2 C Oats
1/3 C milk
1 egg
1/2 banana
1 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla
Pinch of cinnamon & salt
Method:
1.) Blend all ingredients till smooth
2.) Bake at 350F for 28 minutes

Yes! Blend your oats! It is a GAME CHANGER! I pre-blend all my oats and make essentially oat flour and use that whenever I make anything with oatmeal. Also no need to bake unless you want to. Put it on the stove stop with some milk!
I thought I was the only weirdo who does this! My family thinks it’s so strange. I blend my oats into powder, then cook it with milk and cinnamon for “oatmeal.” Perfect for people don’t like the texture of oats!

it's up to personal preference but whole oats give you more fiber, since your body actually has to work to break them down! If you're eating purely for joy and not for health, then I respect that, but just thought I'd share this info for anyone who eats oats for the fiber.

Spray a fry pan with coconut oil and make pancakes! You can add berries or and cocoa powder ...

@@xavierc3176 I make a pancake batter the same way.oats baking powder dash of salt . pulverized I to a flour then add sweetener of choice honey syrup brown sugar whatever you like throw in an egg canned pumpkin and spices if you want. Or frozen berries a little milk if needed to thin out have a hot skillet sprayed with coconut oil and make pancakes
recipe:
1/2 cup of oats
1/3 cup of milk
1 egg or 1/2 cup applesauce (for a vegan substitute)
half of a banana
1 tablespoon & a half of maple syrup (for sweetness)
half teaspoon of baking soda
half teaspoon of vanilla
cinnamon (a dash, maybe? no set measurement)
pinch of salt
- blend until you have a smooth-ish consistency
- put into oven safe baking ware
- add toppings!! (optional) chocolate chunks were used in this video
- bake at 350 degrees for 28 minutes
Want to confirm the Mushroom shaker is essential in this recipe. I used salt from a different shaker once and it failed. Learn from my horrendous mistake and use your Mushroom shaker 🤣 😂 lmao just kidding if you can't tell. Ps I'm definitely trying this it looks so good 👍.

You don't even need an egg. I do mine at 395 for 30 min and extra baking soda is basically the consistency of banana bread

What if I can only use a toaster oven? What temp and time so i don't burn it?
Using toaster oven makes a lot more sense than heated oven for one tiny bowl. Good recipe though.
Same Temp, just make sure to use the bake function on the toaster oven and you can move the rack down so the cake doesn’t touch the top when rising

Yup, made the recipe. My chocolate chunks sunk one or two maybe stayed on the top. I felt like it needed a bit more sweetness, but if u add extra extra chocolate, it should be fine.

It's like a lower guilt cake, AND gluten free for those who need it. I'd probably do this for a "healthy" dessert or snack but it's a neat idea either way.
