Wow - what a performer and what a positive person and a great song. His talent and his obviously genuine generous demeanour with uncomplicated messages of inclusivity and union seemed to have won over an audience across Europe. Another knocking on in my mid 50's.. I too have always disliked eurovision & thought it all political. UK never getting anywhere because simply they hate us lol. Sam changed that, his voice & uplifting personality, like a grace about him.. Fantastic! Love the song, love his voice, similar to the 70's Demis Roussos in tones. Of course Ukraine were gonna win lol. But Sam put us right up there at No2 & in many peoples eyes, Sam won that really! 👍🇬🇧

Depends what they do...the BBC iI've noticed over recent years of Eurovision have a habit of insecurely throwing as many pyrotechnics, unnecessary backing dancers and all forms of other crap at "ok" songs to try and get the most out of them. Some of the best Eurovision winners of the last ten years tend to be one person on their own with very little else to distract, because the song is strong enough to win without it. When a song is weak, it needs to be carried by gimmicks and novelties to try and make you remember it. It needs something, but hopefully they'll look at past winners and actually pay attention to what wins and what gets points. Not just what they think looks good, because they've been clueless for a while.
From Cyprus, this is the best Song the UK has sent in years, after twenty years of rubbish. I hope they invest in the stage presentation. I wish him the best.
