Hey there! Found your previous "day in the life" video when I was deciding if I wanted to move away from the decade+ I spent in hospital/ facility bedside and into home health. I'm now a few months in with home health and absolutely loving it! Thank you for your videos and all of your eduction. You're hitting it spot on!

@@AccordingToTawanda Thank YOU Tawanda! I don't think I'm ready to offer any insight in an interview yet, but thank you for the offer. I'm very much still learning the ins and outs of home health. But I will tell you, my biggest take away so far is as a nurse you absolutely need a strong foundation in higher level nursing skills when working in a home. I've been seeing some very sick patients and I would be far less effective if I didn't have a strong knowledge base thet I've had the opportunity to accumulate over the years. Would you agree? 😄 Best of luck to you and I look forward to more videos!☺️

Hey Beautiful🥰, This was so informative; a lot of times, staples are being removed way too soon. My friend's mom caught a bad infection because her primary doctor had the nurse remove her staples without even checking if the wound was closed fully.

Hey Beautiful Soul🤩 Thanks so much for watching. That is one of the most common causes of post-op infections. Nurses get focused on the date and often fail to properly assess.

    Hello Ms. Tawanda!
I just came across your CZcams videos and feel so blessed! I’m a pre nursing student and am very much interested in becoming a nurse, but not at bedside. I was a PCT at a hospital and just recently transitioned to a home health care caregiver and am so thankful I did! I’m looking to also become a home health care nurse, but wasn’t sure if going straight into in once I graduate would be a good idea. What jobs do you recommend for new grads? I was actually thinking of Psych as well or dialysis as a possible starting point if home health wasn’t an option from the jump. How many years of nursing experience would you recommend a new nurse get before transitioning to home health working SOC?
