  • If you are looking for fast flowy mountain bike trails, West End Regional Park (WERP) in Saylorsburg PA has the goods. Although it’s not considered a technical place to ride, the faster you go the harder, and more fun, it gets. I had a blast on my single speed following Dan Brodeen from Speakeasy Bikes. In fact, if you are interested in seeing more from this ride, check out the extended cut on Patreon. It tells a better story and includes a few more trails I left out of this version.

    TRAIL DETAIL:
Dan and I took our single speeds to WERP and we absolutely ripped it. So much fun! What this place lacks in technical features it makes up for with tight twisty turns. And because there is not much in terms of elevation, it makes it an ideal spot for riders of all skill levels including families and kids.
The three trails that stood out for me were Creekside, Extra Credit, and No bones About it. If you are going to visit, definitely put those on your hit list. If you are a beginner looking to progress your skills, be sure to check out Fun Stuff. It’s filled with a lot of low consequence features designed to improve your riding. Located just off the parking lot, it’s ideal for practicing.
In total our ride ended up being almost 11 miles and 900 ft. However, we repeated a few trails and ran some of them in both directions. Regardless I left my Strava and Trailforks down below in case you want to check out our route.

Great video Sage, it's always great when you can ride sections on trails without braking. I love the thrill of having the grips like that without your finger on the brake. Great ride mate and thanks for sharing. Ride on and have a great week✌🤙

Good stuff Sage, looks like a fun little park, probably much better on the SS or just hardtail in general!

Yeah, for higher intermediate and advanced riders a hardtail or SS would be the perfect weapon. Thanks Zane.

Consider traveling to the finger lakes in New York! Great camping, beautiful air bnb homes, lakes, waterfalls, great history! I'd love to see the footage and the whole family there!😊
