Underrated!
Well played
Great update! Love the Shop videos! Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
I like what you’re doing
Class 👍🏼 dedication and skill. Fair play quality work pal
Always glad to see a new upload, and looks great work to a those wheels Jesus wide !! 👍
Cheers Gary mate
Fair play guys, wish I had those skills 👏 👌
Great work nothing better than fabricating 😊
Josh is an artist. This tubular front end will affect the rigidity of the car ?
Yah the boys are back !! Amazing work and f-ck me those are wide rims for a front wheel drive looking forward to seeing it ready for the first race
Lovely work that 👏🏻
Absolutely awesome!!!
This means better weight distribution right??
Awesome work so far on the rebuild. I'm sure you already know this, but keep an eye out for your toe curve (bump steer) using the CRV spindles, the tie rod pick up point is slightly different from EK and EG (widest track width car from the double wishbone cars)
Thanks! And no I wasn't aware actually so thanks for the information I'll have to check it, should be able to sort it with the honed toe arms hopefully
Not playing games!
🔥🔥👍
Possibly could have had the tubular front end to be bolt on, like a bolt in cage. Could make up spares and carry one to a race just in case. Was that considered?
Yeah it was considered and is a good idea but it's alot more work to make bolt on, especially if wanting to tie it in alot of places and having the engine mounted from it, not a 5 min job to change at the track either
If I made the chassis legs individually but made a bolt on crash bar like I had before then I could have a spare but unlikely to align with the legs afterwards anyway
Focused on making it as strong as possible and will have some smaller bars/wings on the corner of the bumpers as an attempt of a crumple zone to not bend the main structure
@@HCRWorks looks quality so far 👍🏻
Man I have to do the same exact thing right infront of the strut towers
Awesome work brother, mind me asking what intake manifold is that appreciate the info
its an RSP inlet manifold off a K20Z4
Awesome for the info, brother, your car looks amazing brother, shouts to Josh
Did the entire front knuckle come off of a first gen crv or just the hub? I’m looking to do a 5 lug swap on my eg and I don’t want to have to get the expensive jdm itr stuff
Yeah the full knuckle complete, apparently the steering rod end mounts are slightly different but nothing an alignment can’t sort.
4130?
What material do you guys use to make the Front Splitter?
It was made of buffalo board but the new one is carbon 👍🏻
@@petelawton-hcr_works6059 That’s great cheers Pete! 👍🏼
Will it still fit on the trailer with the wider fronts?
That is an excellent point 😅
@@DownChange been there, done it, had to buy another trailer 🤦🏽
@@mickyroffe3853 we have some skinnier wheels for transport luckily 😂 but yeah that is abit of a nightmare
Race the Tsx in the garage
That is happening now 👍🏻
Sick guy...
All that editing made it hard to watch the full video
