102,400,000 playstation 1's out there and people and stores still try to sell them for $60-$80 or more. They're basically worthless at this point with all the backwards compatibility on ps2's, some ps3's, and the virtual stores where you can download many old ps1 games. They only sell for that price because of rubes who have zero awareness of the market.

Great video! How reliable overall and overtime is the launch PS1(SCPH-5501).? I bought it on launch day in the 90s and was great. Then haven't owned it in so long, until this past week I bought one in mint condition. I hear alot of good things about it except The laser in the disc reader can sometimes not read disks over time or give up. But I heard the same issues for PSone model as well. As for hardware, it has great performance and no heating issues. It's a great classic console!
