How does someone dislike this?! What does tar itself have a CZcams account?!?
LMAO~!!
I shed a tear at the beginning. Alex, we both survived! I was at H.D. in our Truck picking up supplies for an outdoor project. It became my turn at the loading area, I was buying Concrete Bricks. As I was pulling up I hear 'Boom'. The person that had been in front of me had left a 32oz. bottle of Gorilla Wood Glue sitting on the ground. Left front tire, running board, (which I ended up having to remove and clean), chassis rail, you get the idea. Thank God it was water based. So instead of going home to work on my project I had to haul ass home as the sun was hot and pressure wash for what seemed like hours. That day sucked bad.
Great to watch EU in action., Anthony has exceeded the owner’s expectations!
Yes, spend a lot of money for chemicals, or simply use a heat gun, on low, reheat the tar for about 10 to 15 seconds per small area,, and wipe it off. I bought a 16oz can of Mothers tar remover for $10 to finish off the final touch up. My roadster came out looking original.
I dealt with this on my Jetta this construction season. I ended up using a medium clay bar to remove it because my dedicated bug and tar remover couldn't. Even full strength. 👍
Thanks for the Eulex demo! I’ve had such great experiences with Koch Chemie products…good to know about Eulex.
Eulex is also an adhesive remover, but works great on removing tar as shown in the video. The Koch Chemie Teerwasche is the dedicated tar remover product, I'm not sure if it is sold in the US though.
I've never had a problem with road tar. What was a "nightmare" for me was road striping paint. Best way I found was Vaseline and a credit card. The Vaseline keeps the paint specks from flying all over the place and seemed to prevent scratches. NOTHING else worked. And, nothing I tried actually softened striping paint.
So, I'd like to see a video on removing road striping paint.
Those cloths will be ready for the bin after this!
What a transformation. 👍🏼👍🏼
Can I use it for th decon stage before iron? Or for decon is better to use something else... A more safer tar remover?
Does this work on a car tire tread or would it not be safe to use on the tire rubber? Thanks!
Looks like this product is sold out on your website, do you have it available for pick up in Boise? Or is there a similar product you have in stock?
Man that was Tar Pit " R " US !! Never had one that Bad~! Works Great, of course it removes all sealers or Wax.... was the P/U ceramic coated? ;-)
How do you remove all tar or brake dust from wheel wells
I was hoping you would put some EU in a pump sprayer and spray the living tar out of it. Would’ve loved to see the tar just melt away.
It's not safe for vinyl, and some plastics. So if you spray it and the spray gets deposited on such kind of sensitive areas, then it can easily damage it.
That's why from my experience it's always best to pour to microfiber and then work around ensuring you stay away from thos sensitive areas. Test spots are best way to know how it reacts. Brilliant product tho.
Way worse for me. The road in front of my house was resurfaced after a 30 year wait. It was layed down with tar & gravel. Still cleaning small gravel rocks from under our vehicles. Inherited my Father-in-law's Chevy Silverado. He lived on the same road as us. Washed it yesterday & same deal. Will try this product to remove the tar from the trucks nice running nice chrome side steps.Removed rocks from around the leaf springs & shocks yesterday too. Thanks for the informative video
Did it work?
Good to know...thank you! But am curious: who started the trend for deafening music accompanying auto detailing? Chicago Auto Pros? Rag Company? The music's pleasant, but having to turn down the darn volume whenever it comes on's kinda a pain.
Agreed ☝🏻
They did the highway last year and my car got destroyed. I tried Tar-x and it did not work. Had to Be clayed.
Would this also work with artillery fungus?
Can I spray it instead? I don’t want to rub on the car paint.
Eulex like all KCx products is amazing 😀
Shout laundry foam Also works
Another great video, TRC! Would you recommend using demoted towels for this job?
@@theragcompany Thanks for the insight!
What is name of the product???
Ppl I have to put up with this every week on my semi truck delivering asphalt
Is Eulex able to be diluted?
KC EU keeps eating every sprayer. Anyone know one that can handle it. Thanks. Dan. Googled the N-butyl acetate made of and no better off. I’m bamboozed. Or head F’d
Take my money!🤣🤣🤣
Hi there! I used Eulex recently for a tree sap job and it left a haze on the paint and the window that the tree sap where on. Any idea as to why that happened?
*I washed the car first and used my microfiber towel
You've might had that paint damaged or something I would advise to do nice polish job in that area and ur good to go hopefully
This is awesome!! 👍 Will it work on road paint?
I am using an applicator pad with this product and it is not working…
Is it bad that I use gasoline lol…I’ll for sure be buying this for my detail home set up. Better then gas lol
white spirit works very well
The bottle mouth for EU looks like it’s a dropper, can you use a trigger sprayer for this? The thought of rubbing tar against your paint doesn’t necessarily sound the smartest lmfao
Can you reuse the towels with tar in them? Is there a special way to clean them? Or is it best to toss them, or repurpose them?
Wheels?
It’s 2021, does y’all’s camera not have a silent shutter mode? 🤣
Does that also work on artillery fungus?
Yes, but it’s worth doing a small test spot for every situation.
What did you use on the car after washing it?
What was the orange and grey can??
don't know why don't just use sprayer to spray it on, let it melt the tar, pressure wash off and any remaining stubborn bits then attack with a towel, surely that's much more efficient use of time and the product.

Have done this experiment and that's why telling
@@davemathew4210 that's why u spray it away from the plastics then !! Spraying it on makes it so much safer for the paint so not rubbing into the paint clear coat
@@davemathew4210 There are other such as Gyeon Tar are safe on paints, plastic, vinyl...etc.
And what kind of towels did you use during thus process? I thought I saw a couple of different styles.
Probably ones he's going to throw away because after that you can't use those towels anymore. So I would just use any leftover towels that you're going to get rid of but that are paint safe.
Does it strip off wax Amd sealents ?
Even knowing this is possible, there's still a good chance I'd get out of my car and throw up a little bit if I saw that all over my paint.
It’s just a truck, mine got absolutely soaked today. Truck was dripping with tar it was sick!
DO NOT USE EULEX ON PLASTIC TRIM! It will fade plastics, especially if a bit old. Use safe tar remover for trim, there are load in the market
I'm happy with the D3 TAR from Fra-ber (Italian product), long time action but I think it's better during summer and safe on trims
Oh Sh*t
First
Congratz dude :) how you gonna celebrate?
