How does someone dislike this?! What does tar itself have a CZcams account?!?

I shed a tear at the beginning. Alex, we both survived! I was at H.D. in our Truck picking up supplies for an outdoor project. It became my turn at the loading area, I was buying Concrete Bricks. As I was pulling up I hear 'Boom'. The person that had been in front of me had left a 32oz. bottle of Gorilla Wood Glue sitting on the ground. Left front tire, running board, (which I ended up having to remove and clean), chassis rail, you get the idea. Thank God it was water based. So instead of going home to work on my project I had to haul ass home as the sun was hot and pressure wash for what seemed like hours. That day sucked bad.

Yes, spend a lot of money for chemicals, or simply use a heat gun, on low, reheat the tar for about 10 to 15 seconds per small area,, and wipe it off. I bought a 16oz can of Mothers tar remover for $10 to finish off the final touch up. My roadster came out looking original.

I dealt with this on my Jetta this construction season. I ended up using a medium clay bar to remove it because my dedicated bug and tar remover couldn't. Even full strength. 👍

Eulex is also an adhesive remover, but works great on removing tar as shown in the video. The Koch Chemie Teerwasche is the dedicated tar remover product, I'm not sure if it is sold in the US though.

I've never had a problem with road tar. What was a "nightmare" for me was road striping paint. Best way I found was Vaseline and a credit card. The Vaseline keeps the paint specks from flying all over the place and seemed to prevent scratches. NOTHING else worked. And, nothing I tried actually softened striping paint.
So, I'd like to see a video on removing road striping paint.

It's not safe for vinyl, and some plastics. So if you spray it and the spray gets deposited on such kind of sensitive areas, then it can easily damage it.
That's why from my experience it's always best to pour to microfiber and then work around ensuring you stay away from thos sensitive areas. Test spots are best way to know how it reacts. Brilliant product tho.

Way worse for me. The road in front of my house was resurfaced after a 30 year wait. It was layed down with tar & gravel. Still cleaning small gravel rocks from under our vehicles. Inherited my Father-in-law's Chevy Silverado. He lived on the same road as us. Washed it yesterday & same deal. Will try this product to remove the tar from the trucks nice running nice chrome side steps.Removed rocks from around the leaf springs & shocks yesterday too. Thanks for the informative video
