      Ageing vag plastic is extremely brittle.

    Well these connectors tend to get very brittle especially in engine compartment. But then these cars are pushing to being 20 years old so this should be expected.

    Fabia vRS MK1, new alternator have no battery light on dash can you help 👍

      If all other lights come on then check the load sensor wire from the alternator. The blue wire, I think needs checking for continuity as it will be broken somewhere possibly by the gearbox end.

      @@HatBoyHarvey Hello, we love watching the videos. My problem is when I press the window buttons, when I turn the steering wheel at idle, the engine speed drops, the headlights are dimmed and it instantly returns to normal. I suspect the connector on the alternator. can i change the connector myself
