I thoroughly am enjoying this cruise, and the last one on Horizon. Especially interested in this cruise because hubby and I will be on the Horizon September 18th doing ABC (hopefully). First time going to these ports so very excited to get a little preview.
The group in Pig and Anchor were on the Carnival Liberty with us a couple of years ago - loved them! I have video of them doing the Alanis Morisette song too. 😎

Sometimes it was at the beginning of our meal, sometimes at the end, ha ha… it was hard to tell. What we gathered is they seem to do it twice between 5:30-9:15 so we figure maybe 6:45ish and 8:00ish or so.
We've seen it on every ship so far, from Carnival to MSC to Bahamas Paradise, but the prizes vary wildly. Carnival has their trophies as prizes, Royal gives out keychains and highlighters, etc. :P
I like Carnival , but they should have better - more perks for Gold , Platinum guests * Carnival also should change the program to Carnival FUN club ( instead : currently VIFP club )
Gold used to have more exciting perks, but as more people work their way up the ladder, they have to either water the program down or invent new levels, and they've been doing the former thus far. Platinum is nice because you get laundry service and a cocktail party, so we always enjoy both of those, hah.

On our sailing the only ones offered were in Aruba it was a beach day. And in Curacao there was swimming with turtles La Romana was a monkeys hang out. That's all I remember. They will be different depending on the ports you go to. I've heard they sell out very quickly. Have a great cruise.

Thankee! We heard that folks started receiving their emails either confirming of denying exemptions for the 7/31 Mardi Gras sailing, I believe yesterday. So they should still be coming! I believe for our Horizon sailing, people were still waiting 2 or 3 days ahead of the cruise, so hopefully it doesn't come to that again!!
We've always heard that you shouldn't get it laminated in case they need to add future booster shots and things on there, so we just snagged some sealable plastic sleeves for ours. Figured that was easy enough!! :P

How does the food on carnival in the MDR compare to royal? The presentation doesn't look as good.
