We're cruising on the maiden voyage of the brand new ship from Carnival Cruise Line... Mardi Gras, sailing out of Port Canaveral, Florida! We sailed from July 31 to August 14, 2021 on back-to-back cruises with stops in San Juan, Amber Cove, Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Mahogany Bay. This sailing was 95% vaccinated (see our separate protocols video for more information on that) with basically no mask requirements indoors our outdoors, no social distancing, and self-serve buffets. Let's do this thing!

Materva and Jupiña were originally from Cuba, when the owners left the island in the 60s they were produced somewhere else in the world, that is why they have them in the Havana area. Just a piece of information! Love your videos, I had missed this one!

Yep! On all our back-to-backs so far, you have to exit the ship, go through immigration, then re-board. It's usually super fast though!! :D

Thankee! What kind of credit, like onboard credit? It's normally attached to a single cruise and wouldn't carry over to another cruise, no. You might be able to make a special request if it's a back-to-back, but I don't think so.
I’m a sushi addict, so I get sushi multiple multiple times on every single sailing on carnival... I just asked for a big glass of water and they bring me water in a regular size glass because I am the same I drink a lot of water LOL

OK, do they use the exact same ship model for all the trophies? It looks exactly like my ship-on-a-stick from the Glory. Tip -- if you go to the really early trivia sessions, less competition cause people sleep in (especially on sea days).

Naaaaah, we’ve always been about finding no-cost ways for folks to support us, like the Amazon affiliate link, using travel agent services, or just simply watching the videos with ads. We’ve never gotten into the Patreon life, and I don’t see us going there!! :P

I wish I could but the sunglasses are actually from 5 below. And the swimsuits are from Old Navy, Shein, Amazon and Target.

How do they handle the luggage for back to back? Does it never leave the ship and just get a special tag?
If changing rooms, you leave your luggage in your cabin, and the steward team makes sure that it gets to your new cabin. It stays on the ship the entire time.
I saw on a different vlog that this ship has the largest Lido deck in the fleet. What made you feel that it seems smaller?
I guess it’s the portion of the deck allocated to dancing at deck parties. Once all the chairs were removed, it wasn’t too bad. But they had some parties out there with all the chairs out and it was tight, ha ha… :P

We purchased our cocktails individually. We had one of those lovely $600 credit to burn, plus $100 for stockholder credit, so it took us a little while to go through it.
Awesome! Hope you guys are having a wonderful time. We were supposed to sail last Christmas, but just like everyone else's, our cruise was canceled. We are not rebooked until June 2022 and we have credit for 2 cabins. How much stock do you have to own to get cabin credit?

How long can you linger on the ship on debarkation?
On a standard debarkation morning, you might get away with about 10:00am or somewhere in that zone, depending on how fast everyone else gets off the ship.
