This was very clear and informative. These tips are so supportive with the minor details we don't know as starters. Thank you
Thank you. This is really helpful for future videos.
Great advertisement, im buying it all 🤣
Our job here is done. 😂
I want to paint some boots with have a mesh detail on the side, but I can’t find 2 soft available in my area. I’m wondering if it would be better to dye these sections with regular fabric dye if if I should attempt to paint them with the Angelus paint without any additives?
So I’m customizing a pair of Adidas Forum Mid but am I missing anything?
Leather Preparer and Deglazer, Light Green for the color, Satin 4 Coat for the finish, brushes, and 2 soft for the tongue and inside fabric.
I dont have a heat gun for the 2 soft but can I also use a hair dryer?
I used to do 3 coats max for wearable shoes but I will definitely consider laying down 1 extra coat going forward!

I purchased some Angelus paints a few months ago. I am so glad that I have not used them yet before watching this video because I had no clue that I needed to purchase thinner as well.

Never stop learning!
Great tips especially for air brush... Air brushing is next on my todo list to try.
You can do it!
Quick question I have black boots that I need to paint yellow, any advice on how please
Hey there! After Removing the factory finish with Leather Preparer, you would benefit from doing a couple coats of white or even light grey before the Yellow. Then yellow mixed with white, then onto the Yellow Coats. This is a good way to use less overall coats when going from a dark color to light.
Question not sure you respond but ya. So I used this paint to do my leather couch worked good but in heavy fold areas it showing the old color after 3 days. Any advice to fix this as I was just gonna sand it and do another coat
Sanding is a great option. Send us an email info@angelusdirect.com and let us know how you prepared the surface prior to painting it.
Can you paint the foam midsoles with this paint? I want to paint the white swoosh and midsole on a pair of Pegasus 83s
You can paint foam, but we recommend it mainly for advanced customizers. The process is to dye the midsole, wipe it off with Leather Preparer & Deglazer, use an adhesion promoter, and then paint.
If the sneakers are all white leather and i want to paint them white do I need to prep and deglaze the sneaker?
We always suggest to as you never know if there is any finish or oil on it that will keep the paint from sticking.
