I clean all my shoes once I get home the same day but never had any dirt on them especially any heavy dirt, I can usually get them 💯 with just a clean towel. A damp one doesn't hurt but I have a couple collectors pair of Air Forces I wore quite a few times because I was more worried about my J's. I'd like to see if can get them looking new and put them up.

    Man those look good. I'm tired of the worn out half assed magic erasers that never get them fully white. I wonder if the sole clean can be put on new out of the box when they are still white, and prevent the oxidation
    I have several pairs of 4's that are in the boxes, never worn and I'm afraid they will turn yellow just sitting in the boxes for years. I try to get a pair to wear, and a one for storage that I'll never wear and keep them in the box as they come. I wonder if I could put some of the oxidation stuff on them then shrink wrap them and put them back in the box or if I could just shrink wrap them new and it would prevent oxidation.

    • @AngelusBrand
      @AngelusBrand  Před 3 lety +1

      Ya you can probably fix them with some sole bright if they are yellowing. However, yellowing comes with age no matter what. There is nothing really you can do to prevent that unless you oxidize them.

For that color hit angleus directs Instagram and click the color mixing highlight tab, click through and you’ll see a story they reposted of mine with the colors I used for a perfect match on the banned 1s (it should be close to 2016s si mix those colors and do some tweaking if needed)

      Gym red is a mixture of colors. Scarlet red, Chili red, White with a couple dabs of duller. You will need to test and experiment with the mixing on your end.

    After using Sole Bright, how long will it last before it turns back to yellow midsole again?

    • @AngelusBrand
      @AngelusBrand  Před 4 lety +1

      Every pair is different. Depends on the shoe, the condition of the soles and the environment. For some shoes, it will be something you will need to keep up with ofter, others you will only need to do it once... just depends.

      It might not work similar as it would on the upper leather. Unfortunately, our paint doesn't adhere best to the midsole and is prone to cracking/peeling with normal wear and tear.

      When mixed with Angelus Acrylic Paints, this product will allow the paint to adhere to non-porous surfaces such as plastic or glass. Angelus 2-Hard promotes adhesion and film hardness.

      Well, if the shoe is prepped properly and the paint applied correctly then the paint shouldn't chip off. If this happens then you should go back and prep the leather better using acetone or our Leather Preparer and Deglazer.
