I don't care about what Gordon says, even though I'm not a chef but the best food is what the person likes to eat, even if it looks weird in front of others. As a Pilipino I love the spices that you put on the food. BTW I'm a Hot and Spicy lover.

As a Pakistani American also named Bilal I almost cried when Gordon said your name…I used to hate my name because growing up people could never pronounce it, but I’m proud to be named Bilal and the meaning behind the name. Keep going boss!

As far as I know in my State Kerala among Muslims Bilal was a funny and local name which is mostly associated with local goons, cultureless, jobless and idiots. This was extended in the movies. But in 2005 a movie came called Big B and the protagonist's name is Bilal. During that time Bilal became badass.
Fast forward to 2023 that badass image has gone and people are not naming Bilal more often. The movie's sequel will start shooting and it has a lot of hype. Let's see if the name becomes popular in a positive way.
