    My favorite travel credit cards: milevalue.com/best-credit-cards/?aff=cc
    Travel credit cards have high sign on bonuses (for fast points accumulation) as well as higher % rewards for travel based spending. They also have tons of travel perks like free global entry + TSA precheck, airport lounge access, travel credits, free upgrades, & more. Something I think the world needs more of is MORE TRAVEL - building experiences is so important. For me, having travel credit cards and building up credit card points encourages me to spend on travel, since this is the best redemption to maximize points value. I don't accumulate points to get cash back- I get them to push me to travel more. Hope this video helps you out!

    I have the citibank AA card, but I really would like to find a better flight earning credit card in the future. If you had only one choice to choose, which would it be? I have to keep in mind the 5/24 rule so I have to make that one choice, good one!

    So I get a sign up bonus if I spend XX Thousands of dollars within 4-6 months for a 700 credit? All these point systems seem scammy since you initially have to spend more than what you'd usually spend if it were just cash.

    • @definitionxmk
      @definitionxmk Před 26 dny

      If you are about to spend that much money anyway, then it's a no brainer. For example, I bought a camera that was worth $6k, by getting the 70,000 points (Venture X initially offered 150k points!), you essentially get $700 off. Better than spending cash and get nothing. It depends how you play the system. You then take advantage of everything else (Global entry, $300 flight credit, etc.) and decide to renew or not. Pretty simple actually. They get people who can't control buying and not being able to pay it off. Depending on the agent, they will sometimes waive the fee and give you $500 credit just to keep being a member. I recently got back from a trip which was entirely funded by points with my wife...

      HACK! If you have friends or family that are willing to put their purchase that they would already be making on your card and sending you the money directly can help you if the purchase requirement isn’t in your budget! Obviously make sure you are doing this with people you trust ,it doesn’t hurt to be the one who pays for your Friends/family dinner and they send it to you or swipe your card at checkout when grocery shopping etc. if it’s being paid on a debit card you might as well benefit from it in your credit.

    • @sandracortez2658
      @sandracortez2658 Před 21 dnem +1

      No, it depends on your lifestyle. If you absolutely will not spend it, then no. But for example, my husband amd I had a 30k wedding. We had it cash. But I got a chase sapphire card and it's going to pay foe our honeymoon. We were gonna have a wedding regardless. Maybe look at getting it around Christmas time, people tend to spend more then. And offer to pay and have people venmo you. Etc

    Listen Bro, credit cards are not a good formula for success and wealth.
    You know that Charlie.
    Mileage and points are the gimmics for the banks.
    Why don't you tell us about the wonderful interest that the banks charge? Thats why the banks are rich and you will remain poor and check to check in your life. Sad!
    You can travel without credit cards.
    Period!
