Great question! Generally, you want enzymes that are "biofilm disruptors" and one of my favorites is by Klaire and is called Interfase Plus

Thanks for the informative video. Can grapefruit seed extract be used to treat yeast overgrowth? Is it safe to use in 3-4 year olds? Is there anything that can be done to manage die off easily?

I haven’t found GSE all that helpful for yeast. It used to be more popular, but I think other things work better. Best things to manage die-off - hydration and pooping 😂. I tend to use more gentle things with the younger kids, like high-dose s. boulardii.

Sugar can be substituted by stevia? Or no sweets at all in order to treat yeast?

Hi!! Thank u so much for putting up these videos. I have been following you for a while now and really love your content.I have a 5yrs almost 6 yrs old daughter with Austism. She is non verbal. She used to say a few words and used to sing a lot. She stop talking for one yr now. We are still waiting on ABA the wait is too long. We saw a neurologist and I suggested dieting and he said he doesn’t belief in diet helping with autism. I am so confuse and I really don’t know what I can do to help my daughter I love her so much and tears run down my eyes every time I see her. It’s really hard to teach her since she is non verbal now. But she understands and follow one step direction and love books. Any suggestion on what I can be doing? And also Is there a generalized supplement you recommend to get started with? And which brand do u prefer? Thank you in advance for your help.

Thanks for your comments! This is the reason I created my online course - to give parents direction without having to wait for or pay for an appointment with me or someone else. But I go every everything that I typically do 1st, 2nd, 3rd with my in-person patients (and with my own kids) so many more children and families can benefit. Check out my course at www.yourautismgameplan.com/course (includes links to all the supplements I use in practice as well!)

Go to a naturopath doctor that deals with autism. Mainstream doctors don’t follow these pathways for some reason…. I find that my only relief came with the naturopath docs

@@jandp2941Well, I went that naturopath path, twice, for myself and kids. And it happens that they work for private labs and all they do it testing, testing, more testing, and testing again. None of their treatment works because they don't prescribe what works. I spent thousands and thousands on testing and expensive supplements. Kids still have disbiosys and candida, not to mention other symptoms. And yes we did all the "everything free" diets.
All of them are just selling either lab test, supplements, or "educational" videos. Nothing's free. Sorry.

Curious on how is your kid doing? Did functional medicine helps a lot? Is very expensive to attend to a functional provider but we’re giving it a try 😊

We still definitely have our struggles (as any parent of a 10 year old will tell you), however, she has been without an IEP since October for the first time EVER (!!) and has been in a typical classroom for the past 2-3 years, and with no supports. therapy, or others accommodations since October. She’ll be attending Christian school with our twins next year and we couldn’t be more proud. It’s been a long and hard journey, but she’s come a LONG way.

@@jandp2941 yes his behaviours is a lot better. He was non verbal now uses short sentences. His sensory processing has improved he couldn’t tolerate sounds, foods, textures, couldn’t take him to groceries without freaking out. He still has some obsessions with cables. It’s very hard to treat dysbioses takes time, antimicrobials, digestive enzymes, vitamins, minerals, and taking out food allergies helps lower inflammation. Food allergy testing is important the ones the insurance doesn’t cover are the good tests. They possibly have heavy metal overload. My son was also tested for urine test with heavy metals were high currently doing cilantro juice along modified citrus pectin recently started that. He has improved a lot barely any stimming when he was stim king back in the day. Back in the day he couldn’t understand anything said to him he was lost in his world. Now is able to learn. We still struggle he has auditory processing disorder as well and needs to learn more language since back then it was like he couldn’t hear and didn’t learn language I have to teach him now and he is learning now the English language.Probiotics are another thing helping my son because antibiotics destroyed his intestines killed all the good bugs and it showed on his tests no beneficial bacteria. Beneficial bacteria are very important for anyone’s health.
