Ya just can't beat that fuji system, i have the mini mite 3, was shooting dupli color, jet black, that sprayer made me look like a pro lol, awesome videos sir
What tip with the turbine for basecoat and basecoat with metallic, also what tip for the clearcoat, I'm wanting to get this mini-mite 5 and loving your work and videos and needed some insight on the tips. Also are you mixing the clear with more reducer being its hot air coming from the turbine? Thank you and keep up the great work
Great channel. Will follow cause I have a mini mite 4 and want to get into painting some parts. BTW, VOC does not mean viscosity when you were talking about the clear coat paint....it means Volatile Organic Compound and a higher number is not better (for your health risk)
Awesome videos I have a mini mite 4 platinum with the same gun my question is do you think the fluid settings are the same as the mini mite 5? And do you think I can spray my clear with the 1.3 tip that it can with thanks and keep the videos coming!!
Thanks for your comment. The fluid setting will be the same. And yes you can spray clear with 1.3 however in my opinion your set up is a little more finicky. That is why I do it with 1.0 or 0.8.
I am waiting on my fuji t75 to arrive on Monday with 1.0mm and 1.3mm tip. Could you have used 1.8mm tip and applied primer with fuji? I am planning to use this gun for everything. I also got 3m pps 2 system. I was only able to get standard 650ml liners with 125micron mesh. How much can you paint with one cup on average? I will probably be painting the car in sections anyways. Also, I am in Canada and it's cold right now. What is the lowest temperature I can spray at? Also, is 1.0 or 0.8 better tip to use. You used 0.8 on the tesla so I am not sure if I should keep the 1.0 or switch. Thank you for the demonstrations!
I would definitely use a 1.8 tip If you’re trying to build a medium build with the primer you can use 1.5 tip For a medium high and higher build you can go from 1.8 to 2.0- 2.5 tip depending on what you’re trying to do.
650 ml liners can give you a good size panel like a doors or the side of a truck box without having to change your materials. So painting by sections you should have no problem at all. I have painted as low as 5 degrees and maybe even colder and I haven’t had any issues with it yet. I am also from Canada as well Vancouver area.
Great video mate.....Iam now using a turbine system to. Iam very happy with the system. Can you tell me what you would charge for this job over there ? Thanks from NZ

Thanks for your comment. For base coats I use 1.3 regardless whether it’s metallic or not, and for clear coats 1.0. And no I never reduce my clear.
