Why isn’t anyone talking about Lex. Im crying at how cruelly she was treated for something so stupid, and how the men involved were completely ignored. Misogyny is very real and alive and not enough people talk about it. Thank you
Welcome to the internet they do that to thousands of "viral" people. There's been quite a few suicides from internet hate and bullying. That's why people scoff at internet bullying but it's a real thing. This woman's life pretty much fell apart because Reddit is full of pieces of shit.
Human nature - she's part of a society/community and she went against it. she's now somewhere else and has found her new society and community and she's doing what she wants to. What more is there?
@@user-hu8tw2ot3t Misogyny is watching a video where two men are actively doing something to a stationary woman and only blaming the woman for what happened. No one is advocating for having sex in public, its just weird how people choose to frame things for their own benefit.
@user-hu8tw2ot3t here in the USA having sex in public is illegal. Like the other comment said no one is advocating for sex in public. I for sure don't want to see that shit. It's the fact no one ruined the men's entire lives. It's the fact this woman was bullied and attacked to the point she almost killed herself. We are not law, we do not need to bring it upon ourselves to publicly shame someone for a mistake in front of hundreds of millions to be perpetually bullied to the point of suicide. I miss the old internet. Where toxicity existed but only existed on the internet and stayed on the internet. Ever since the skyrocket of social media and the mainstream of internet culture, the internet went from a bad but stupid troll of a place to a terrible, near evil place.
Ur heart breaks for her? She is a stripper with a onlyfans....pretty sure she is just a thot 😂. She is fine.....hope she saves her money. Doesn't exactly have the longest line of job security

Guilt can be, but that's a wholly different emotion that couldn't be induced by simply getting insulted in every form of media. More people like him ? No one wants to die but you gotta be strong & be yourself, not someone else . That literally goes against what he was saying . I feat death because it might be all nothing like how it was before we was born . But That's being cynical because even before we was born life was still going on . No matter what happens no one can take away the days we lived , life is bigger then us . Nothing is forever so why would death ? I use to fear it also because I would never see anyone again . Because a afterlife for humans is just childish I believe , but I do believe in energies & bonds ... Meaning if you have a deep connection with someone , you will find them again. Maybe a different life on a different planet , a different universe , different time whatever .. We continue to live on thru the next generation that's why family & friends are important . We're not meant to be alone . I'm 26 , I use to cry about death everyone night since I was 9 until I was 18 .. I was wasting my life In fear because of death .. Being conscious of our mortality is important but we shouldn't let it overwhelm us but make us embrace & cherish life more ! Let us be thankful even though there's hardship . Life is beautiful & death completes it .. Be strong , keep your head up high , keep a open mind , in keep moving forward . We don't need religion even though sometimes it brings good , we just need each other in we can overcome everything ! Ethan if you see this , kick death ass & live the best life you can ! Love to all , let's leave our print on this Earth , in this vast universe for many years to see! 😎✌️
What's to know. Corruption, drunkards, drug addicts and broken families. Like most of society today. Even though these guys are Albertan and oil companies are desperately looking for natives to meet quotas most of these guys don't want to do better. The natives who stick to the oil field and don't dip after their first paycheck or get fired for being drunk on site or a failed drug test live a high quality life. Lifted trucks, snow sleds, quads, 600k-1mil dollar homes, so on. They need to leave the reserve first, just like blacks need to leave the ghetto or whites leaving the trailer park. Any natives reading this, there's also Teck doing coal mining in BC closer to Calgary that has special benefits for natives only.
I know that public sex is wrong but realize that Alexis seemed to be the only one getting hate and not the two men who joined along…that woman on The Rebel should be ashamed of herself. Alexis if you see this you are NOT a waste of skin. The way she decides to hold herself up now is amazing!!! Queen shit truly ❤❤
Sounds like the issues for Native Canadians is the same for Native Australians, so much money gets thrown at them but it only goes to a select few people who get mega rich. The poor majority are used by their elders to guilt the government into more n more money.. it's tragic.
That is why you shouldn't give handouts, but actually build infrastructure, integrate and govern everybody equally. Obviously, the problem with that, is that this means you cannot create native reserves and they have to integrate into the bigger society and lose aspects of their culture and laws, that conflict with the bigger society's. And that is something the elite of these people and some self-hating leftist don't want. Even though the reality is, every person wants a better life, opportunities, infrastructure, healthcare, better life expectancy and freedom. But children cannot decide on their own, and their elders and parents brainwash them into living in terrible conditions, but "embracing" their cultures and they don't know another kind of life. They aren't allowed to properly learn and integrate because then they "give up their ancestry and culture and become too white", so the only thing that remains for them is handouts, poverty, and blaming the government and whites for everything, and nurturing a culture, that is a hollow shell of what it was hundreds of years ago, and set rules and customs for a different type of world and isn't helpful or relevant for them anymore, just a bunch of customs, similar to religion but permeating everything in their lives.

What more is there?
having sex in public should be shamed on. it’s disgusting and their could be kids. misogyny is such a overused word it has no meaning
Ever since the skyrocket of social media and the mainstream of internet culture, the internet went from a bad but stupid troll of a place to a terrible, near evil place.
my heart breaks for alexis, I can't imagine what she went through. I hope she finds happiness in whichever way is best for her
Yeah maybe dont get split roasted in public. God bless social shaming.
Ur heart breaks for her? She is a stripper with a onlyfans....pretty sure she is just a thot 😂. She is fine.....hope she saves her money. Doesn't exactly have the longest line of job security
Rebel News is cancer.
no@@Ebola419
@@Ebola419 shaming doesn't do shit to make people change anything about themselves except maybe being alive. Shame isn't a productive emotion. Guilt can be, but that's a wholly different emotion that couldn't be induced by simply getting insulted in every form of media. To feel guilt, you gotta be aware of having hurt somebody, and possibly a way to redeem yourself. If you think people killing themselves is good, keep your opinion. If not, maybe consider changing it.
Ethan is awesome. I would want to know him. We need more people like him. But he doesnt need to afraid of death, but his answer is good, so live life as best you can!🎉

@@halfpint5877 thankyou but I’m not the guy in the video, I was just playing because we have the same name. I appreciate it though I well keep on keeping it real 💯

More people like him ?
No one wants to die but you gotta be strong & be yourself, not someone else .
That literally goes against what he was saying .
I feat death because it might be all nothing like how it was before we was born . But
That's being cynical because even before we was born life was still going on .
I know this was kind of a fun video, but I was really invested in the Natives and their story and hope to see more of it
What's to know.
The matching stance was hilarious af.
yep pretty hilarious, lol! just make sure to never drink alcohol alone with andrew if you are a female. other than that.... HILARIOUS!!!!!!!
@@Arakox Hey now, we've collectively moved past that! :P
@@Arakox except when you want to get fucked then that is exactly what you should be doing!
2 drunk stances in 1 frame is pure art
2:36 was so sweet. Really heartwarming, quick and easy comment. You really are something special.
As a native Calgarian this video truly encompases what Stampede is like.
"I EXTRACT ROCKS OUT OF THE EARTH, CRUSH THEM AND PROCESS THEM INTO UNIFORM SHAPES TO BE USED IN CONCRETE
I provided the aggregates "
Love that dude
As someone from calgary, your street interview skills are top notch and thats rare nowadays. Next time your in the city id kill to have a beer with you.
the randomness of these interviews always makes me calm down so much!!
That gravel mine guy was so passionate about his work. Love to see it. 😂
Nice work Andrew. As an Albertan myself, you managed to capture many of the issues and hilarities that make up our culture
Honestly the world needs more interviews like the one at the end. I think it's really important to humanise people who become the subject of so much public ridicule.
Flights are canceled without accommodations because 90% of airport employees “called out sick” to attend the stampede. This is an annual occurrence and airlines still don’t adjust schedules or warn travelers of their lack of accountability which is a blatant disregard.
I love how every channel 5 video will always be entertaining and educating at the same time
yep they sure will be. just remember if youre a woman to never drink alone with andrew. other than that, great videos!! yea!! LOL

As always, great journalism, thanks for bringing out the real interviews especially the residential school piece, interviewing actual guys affected by this.
And as an Albertan, born and raised. This is why I choose to stay in Edmonton... exactly why. Love that you came to Alberta though Andrew!
I got so unbelievably pumped when that guy talked about the aggregates! WHOO!!
It’s crazy how much these people open up to you. A wild spectrum of “I don’t give a shit” to people afraid of death.

Great documentary lads, and how you edit is gold too

It is absolutely wild how varied all of these people's stories are. Great video, Channel 5!
The cut after the first nations guys talking is perfect. Thanks andrew.

This video was a perfect show of canadians. Thank you Canada, Andrew and the team.
Take that back. If the wastes of air who attend The Stampede were representative of the majority of Canadians, I'd have killed myself years ago...I mean, like, I still probably am, but luckily not due to being surrounded by huge pieces of shit who get wet for dipshit cowboys.
Ok, living near Brocket, Piikani, there are many families trying to change these things. There are many family homes, these parents in our generation, my friends, are raising their children, proud to show them their heritage and traditions.
There are strong men and women, ready to lead the youth! ❤
My husband renovated and built houses in Piikani.
I think these people who are speaking such shit about indigenous, should take part in a Blanket Ceremony and learn a bit more about what actually happened. Shameful 😳
This is the first thing to come out of Canada to make me wanna go there. Seems like a fire place
Props to the guy bringing awareness to indigenous issues here on the reserve. Shoutout toosey First Nations 😎
I've never seen a more accurate depiction of a map of Canada than the one in this video, and the fact he didn't say anything at all about the prairies is just the cherry on top LOL

I've been waiting MONTHS for this!!! Let's go calgaryyy
I didn’t realize trailer park boys was an accurate documentary
Best show, Ricky was to funny.
Crazy thing is from the Stampede to the Trailer Park is a 4800km drive (or 3000 miles for you Yanks)
As a guy who went to university and worked in the trades in Alberta for my young adult life, this is a very accurate representation of the people you would find in Alberta. Everyone is on a journey and is incredible. You just have to have the time to stop and listen to their story
