Geelong v Freemantle,AFL Round 1, 2012

Geelong FC has just got off to a very disappointing start to its footy season, losing by a mere 4 points to Freemantle in round one of 2012 .This is a real worry for us Geelong fans for the next few rounds as Mathew Scarlett is almost certain to be 'rubbed out' by the AFL match review panel. Mathew is certainly in the wrong for punching an opponent but according to all accounts, this act did not come without some kind of provocation from the other side. Still, no excuses and no doubt Mathew will, metaphorically at least, take his own punishment on the chin for now! Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear!
