Kookaburra,S.E.Australia

The other day I was again visited in my backyard by a Laughing Kookaburra (unfortunately not in a laughing mood on this occasion!) I apologise for the wobbliness of the video. I did not have any time to set up a tripod and had nothing handy to rest the camera on. Besides as you can see it was also quite a cold blustery day, not conducive to steady hands. Setting all that aside once again it was an absolute pleasure to get up so close to this Australian treasure. I do worry however if he may have had his eye on the frog I have recently heard calling by my fishpond .. (or, aaagh, even worse.....?) Never mind -that's nature for you!
P.S. When I had finished putting this up youtube offered to fix the video wobbles for me, so I said 'yes' and hey presto ,they just have! Thanks for your help ,youtube! :-)
