To me this was the best era of F1. Not only because of the cars, but look at the crowd.. I remember being at Hockenheim, had a seat at the grandstand.. People were going crazy every time MS flew by. I mean they were going that crazy, that you couldn't even hear the sound of the car and ppl who ever heard these v10s live know, how freaking loud they were... Nowadays it seems like ppl are just sitting there, pretty bored and just go to the track to tell everyone "hey i've been to a formula 1 event..." but it's nothing like it was in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Where are the outstanding drivers (everyone can go fast, but what about character? i dont want to see Hamilton, Vettel or whatever their names are because they are all the same generic types of character).

As with MSC, Mike was inducing the Ferrari to drift prior to entry of the corner, with the car “sliding” into the corner. Something Sir Sterling Moss would talk about in the 50’s - 60’s. It takes a trust of your equipment, trust in the workmanship of the boys back in the garage and a big pair to pull it off.
