My family really enjoyed our 2013 Outback, it worked great when we were a family of 4. When our 3rd kid was on the way we found the car seat situation just wouldn't work for us and moved on to something larger.

For some reason it always seems like you're so hard on Subaru. One of the safest cars on the market with good space but you're saying their tech isn't integrated. They aren't meant to be luxury. I love that they have a CD player. Love the space and above all else the safety. They actually care.

The forester is shorter in length and wider, which is why it's great for 3 across. The outback is longer and slightly more slim. FYI for anyone considering these cars.

​@@Ididntwantayoutubehandl What are you talking about? Forester is 1815mm wide and Outback 1855mm. There is no way to put 3 child seats in a row. That´s why I sold mine 2 month ago and bought Ford Explorer instead.

Outback is longer, wider, but shorter in height. Forester is shorter, narrower, but taller.

I want to like Subaru so bad. The ground clearance and AWD would give me confidence both on and off road. However when I tested them, they were just too noisy and bumpy. I guess I'm too accustomed to the American brands.
