CIVIC GETS MOMO STEERING WHEEL & EBAY KYOSTAR QUICK RELEASE!

Just a quick video installing a Kyostar (Ebay) short hub and quick release, and a Momo steering wheel on the EK Civic!

How is the quick release holding up? It seems pretty solid with no slop from what I can see in the video. Also I am wondering how you like the smaller diameter wheel compared to the stock wheel? I was thinking the smaller wheel might not feel as stable on the freeway because of less leverage? Thanks for the video. The Momo wheel looks great and I want to install one in my 99 EK coupe here soon.

Hey there! Quick release has been holding up perfectly in the few months I’ve been using it as a daily driver. The smaller diameter wheel feels good in the Civic because the steering rack has a pretty slow ratio I’d say, so it makes it feel a bit more responsive. No issues on the freeway at 100kmh+ with the smaller wheel either :)
The Momo is a nice alternative to the common Nardi everyone has that’s for sure

@@Thrills.On.Wheels Sweet, I ended up ordering the same brand quick release and hub but I decided on the Monte Carlo 350mm wheel. I really like the look of the momo wheel and its a nice theft deterrent too! I have quite a bit of money into my engine and turbo kit so I do not want someone to be able to steal my car very easy :-) I want to install a fuel pump cut off switch too and hide it somewhere sneaky lol Cheers mate

Yeah the Kyostar has been holding up great with daily driving and taking it on and off everyday

It’s been good. I daily drive the car and take it off and on every time I get in and out. I have noticed that there is a small amount of play somewhere but not sure if maybe something else is loose. I’ll look into it and keep an eye on it

Thanks mate! It’s 320mm. Quite small but it’s great on the civic cause the steering ratio is quite high
