I have a 94 Honda Civic dx and I’m so lost on how to get the horn to work and the airbag bypass
Thats a sweet looking nrg steering wheel.
Thanks for the Tip. Love the DUAL GAUGE CLUSTER POD also. What is that white gauge you added on the right side of the Pod?
I wish I knew about those before I bought that lame 3ga A piler thing. It looks cool and all but I hit my head on it and it's so cheap it just looks like it's about to fall off (even though it is very well secured).
I got that cheap ebay hub too for my momo, screw holes didn't line up and the build quality was awful, id recommend getting something better right off the bat.
I just changed my ebay wheel for a nrg last weekend I got the suede also I love it
Not sure if you will see this since it’s an old video but I did this light was gone for about a month and now it’s on I tried to reset it and it come back on after I clear it I used a 2 ohm resister
Hey do u know how to do the bypass on a 2006 Acura TL airbag conn
how could we do it with the resistor underneath by the drivers fusebox? reason i ask is the owner before me took out all srs wiring..
Damn thats nice
Should have gotten the quick release hub! But nice video my brother.
@Survival David guess I need a quick release because my seat is all the way back and I want the wheel closer to me
Those make me nervous but if it moves the steering wheel closer, then I may have to grow a pair and get one too!
@@theosaltzman9424 I saw those and also the nrg hubs are solid af and they sure are proud of them. 3x the $ but I suppose it's better than having your wheel come off.
Does anyone know of a part that can cover the gap under the wheel ?
Could you just run a switch and wire into crusie conttol?
I have a 97 honda accord can u tell me where u got the dash Is bezzle with the gages
where’s you get that radio dash kit?
Nice edit. 👍#thelatemodeltech
well, should i disconnect positive first or ground?
So… is the lubed up contact part of the hub (the back of it) only to create your electrical connections? Or is it lubed for another reason
Man I'm still tryin to figure out how u made the horn work lol.
Easy, traces the horn wire behind the dash, then tap the horn wire with another extra wire, after that then ground the back of the hub with a paper clip, make sure it’s touching the back of the hub, after that just wire up and connect the wires. Super easy job 👍 you can also find the horn wire using a light tester, once you find the horn, it should honk and make a noise.
Neutron J hey so I have contact from red horn wire to the hub and it honks as soon as it makes contact to the hub how do I fix this it would just stay on honking if I bolted it up this way also the button doesn’t worl
@@Beasttt- if you have the cheap or horn button with the metal thing sticking out of the side, you will have to use black tape to tape it around the metal thing sticking out of the horn button, basically hack it or you can just cut it out.
Neutron J I think it is because my shorthub is a SRK-R130H and I was supposed to get a SRK-130H because the “R” part is race hub and it’s way smaller and does not have a copper backing around it for the connection to stick to on the back. I’d show a picture but u can see the difference in those two parts. Hopefully that is the fix. Different hub.
Can i get the stock steering wheel please or if anywhere i can buy ?
I installed mine and my steering is now really stiff, I probably messed something up any ideas?
what would work on a honda fit gd3?
Did you disconnect the black terminal on the battery before you messed with the airbag? Then reconnected it after you removed it?
Where can I get a two ome resister
first time seeing a 19 on a honda. 2002 lug nuts
Will that work on a gen 5 Honda Accord?
Wow ❤
i'm gonna do this but also keep my cruise
Boost gauge with no turbo?
What about for a 96 Accord?
Hello I was going to ask is this universal hub piece which would go for any model steering wheel
What rims are those ans spec
Can I do this on a 02 rav4?
Steering is huge lol🤣
Can you keep cruise control with a quick release
All depend of your cruise button is built into the original steering wheel or not
I used a short piece of 2" exhaust tubing to fill the empty space and make the horn contact. The cheap hub I bought cracked upon tightening hub. Got the nrg hub sitting on bench waiting.
Your lucky it cracked now and not while driving or a small fender bender. Don't use shitty hubs
You could’ve just removed the srs bulb out of the cluster
But the error would still be in the system, so removing the bulb isnt really a fix
The error in the system wouldn't cause an issue. Might not allow the passenger side to deploy but that just saves the windshield
@@tylerjvenneman8364 Some people don't like to disable their vehicles functions bit by bit over years just so they can install cosmetic improvements. My 98 prelude still has every function and button present and working correctly despite tons of mods. There is something great about that.
First time you encounter a 19 on a honda what about the lugnuts
Can I just clear the code w my code scanner to get rid of the srs light?
How much was all that
Dude how did you make it work even if it’s the wrong year I can’t find it anywhere I got same problem you did but idk how to make it work
Take the air bag light out 😭I wonder if people do that
Will the ek hub work with eg?
@@balloney2175 don’t tell me this guy doesn’t know what ej is if he really said eg lmao 🤣 I really hate it when people don’t know the difference between si em1 ek ej1 ej2, ef, s2k & etc… Errrkss my nerves like tf is going on nowadays wit the Honda fans/owners! Had a guy who owned a b16a swapped ek 4 door say what’s lsvtec & I lost my shit! 😵😵😵😵🤐🤐🤐🤐🤕🤕
I don't need my horn in my ej2 I have h22a4
nrg steering wheeel civic
L. I just bought one of those cheap ass hubs to use on my ej8
first time you've encountered a 19mm on a Honda, huh? lugs on Hondas are 19mm homie.
Get a quick release.
plz dont do it this way ppl to much work just get a nrg short hub
Can I do the same to my Civic DX 1997 2-door/coupe? After you install it, I notice a gap between the installed stuff and where it is installed.
