CIVIC GETS MOMO STEERING WHEEL & EBAY KYOSTAR QUICK RELEASE!
Next time just smack the top of the knuckle with a bigger hammer. That shock will pop the ball joint out
You have no idea what then bolts would look like on a uk car 😂 good job well done
Thanks for sharing your perspective. Really want a roofie but the weight is a concern and they are very expensive.
All of them
Great review though
Would it help to install a stronger bungy cord to help pull the canvas in. Ive just noticed on alot of rtt reviews the bungy seems quite light weight

Hello, how tall are you?
Hey mate I'm 6 foot tall
Zd30 my favorite
Looking at going to 315 (35"). What kind of RPM does it sit at around 110 and how does the auto handle it? I'm concerned about hunting for gears and missing out on that sweet boost and fantastic top end of the FT. Thanks for the rig rundown
I need to buy one for my Honda so bad but dealing with surgery’s so not in the cards for me :(
Go for stock
How is the quick release holding up? looking to buy one soon!
It’s been good. I daily drive the car and take it off and on every time I get in and out. I have noticed that there is a small amount of play somewhere but not sure if maybe something else is loose. I’ll look into it and keep an eye on it
@@Thrills.On.Wheelscould you fix it? Or is it still there?
how's the foam cushion and bolsters holding up? I heard that some of those replica lose firmness on the bolsters and feels like your sitting on the fiberglass frame itself.
Yeah I’d say the foam isn’t as hard as the genuine ones so they do compress easily. It’s pretty uncomfortable and the shoulder bolsters aren’t wide enough so it pulls your shoulders inwards. I drive this car everyday so I’ll be replacing my drivers seat to something genuine
Straight piped? Any mufflers?
No mufflers just straight pipe mate!

"promosm" 👊
Hey bud, what size momo, looks rad
Thanks mate! It’s 320mm. Quite small but it’s great on the civic cause the steering ratio is quite high
Those look like they are from Midnight JPN 🔥
I thought about getting fake seats How comfortable would they be for a daily
Ah man they’re actually pretty uncomfortable tbh. I drive about 1.5-2 hours a day in them and they ain’t great haha. I got a bride cushion to try make it more comfortable. The main problem is that the shoulder area isn’t wide enough, so it pulls my shoulders inwards when I sit in it ahah. Im planning to replace the drivers seat with another red fixed back seat eventually
Do you have a link to that ladder bag? I have the same tent, but mines on an offroad trailer. I love the entire setup. The Alu Cab ladder is worth the upgrade.
Here it is! www.drifta.com.au/product/drifta-ladder-cover/
@@Thrills.On.Wheels Thanks
Whats the cost? Cheers
$5k to $8K depending on model, to expensive and heavy for me
@@donaldo1974 SAME and SAME! how ridiculous 🙄 😒 Cheers🤣😬
Yeah pretty pricey, there’s some good cheaper options out there nowadays. But BC is pretty great quality. I got this one for $4800 secondhand with thicker mattress, fan with bracket, solar brackets, and he helped me fit it with a ceiling winch haha
What engine is this?
1HDFT mate :)
Similar sized drink bottle holder for an ek civic but it sits at the back of the centre console (potentially mounting where the ashtray is or something? Don’t know if it would work but it could be cool
Cheers for the suggestion, can look into this! For a larger bottle or standard size?
🔥🔥🔥
Civic looks clean mate
Thanks my bro ❤️
Damn, nice car. Good editing too
Appreciate you man, thanks :)
Hey mate, nice ek! Do you have any rubbing tyre problem?
Thanks bro! Nah it’s all good, I gave the rear a bit of a roll with a mallet though 😊

Cool seeing the adjustments, satisfying, is negative toe in or out ?
Negative is toe out and positive is toe in! Toe out picks up some steering response, whereas toe in increases stability - it’s a bit of a juggling act I think!
looks good
Thanks, appreciate it mate! :)
Not going to lie you are a crazy guy using that same brand part after what happen to the first one. What wheels are those they kinda look like rota slipsteams/ regamasters
First set wasnt welded, second set was. That's all there really was to it. They're Enkei, getting replaced soon with some Konigs tho!
@@Thrills.On.Wheels yeah I can see that it wasn't welded but if a company will let a part leave like that it shows how good it is you know I know other companies that are better & they suspension parts like camber kit broke on peoples cars so imagine what a cheaper brand part will do hopefully it's good me personally I'll spend a little more just so I know I'm safe when it comes to ball joints & suspension parts I don't cheap out I learn the hard way with a ebay tie rod shit popped on the highway in my old integra I did like 2 360's & totaled the car got lucky I didn't hit a tree that was inches away from me
@@budgetbuild914 Yeah fair enough. To me the front end is more important, that’s why I’ve bought Hardrace front camber arms
Like you was saying somethings you can cheap on some you shouldn't & the suspension is one of the biggest things you should never cheap out on that's basically what holds your wheels
The video : 🗿 The song : 💀
Was the song in my front camber arm video more your style? 🫣
👍🏻
Lower it more
We’ll see how it looks when I put my new wheels on! I’m going for a more functional meaty tyre track setup tho
Now all you need is some nice adjustable coil overs, and it should be perfect 👌
Yeah man I got some old Tein coilovers in there at the moment. Theyre pretty rubbish tho so I’ll need a new set eventually!
Great video minus the fucking cursing
How ironic hahaha 😅
Sweet rig
Thanks mate!
Crazy question, but how do you know your lock nut size? is it based on the sides?
The lock nut key comes with the kit. It accepts 19mm or 21mm at the end
Wow that looks like googong
They look kinda goofy with the current wheels
Haha bro you’re not wrong I thought the same thing 😂 Itching to get tyres mounted on the new ones
It looks clean with this wheels as well
How much did the roof tent cost?
I got it for 4.5k with a few extras
Classic song choice👍🏼
1HZ Turbo
Excellent video. Great build! Hey I have to ask.....what did you pay for it off that lady?
How are the home made wing boxes fixed to the inside?
They’re screwed into the side of the drawers and then fixed up top where the 3rd row handles are
1hz turbo
Excellent video showing all the steps and rails you need. It looks like a pain to get into the back seats now haha. I think I'll get some reclining seats n
Yeah definitely not ideal if you’re planning on taking passengers haha! I went fixed back because I plan to turn this into a road registered track car eventually. The fixed backs are lighter and have no play in a reclining mechanism
