OK...so I've just given the whole album a complete play through on vinyl. I am absolutely blown away. For those who think the sound is a "bit off" I can offer a simple reason: You NEED a great system to play it on to appreciate just how amazing this sounds.
I am lucky enough to have a high-end hi-fi and I can tell you that if you play this through a system this album deserves you will be astounded.
I absolutely love metal and movie scores....and this is possibly the best amalgamation of the two I have ever heard.
If you ever need to escape the banality of modern day life, then this album is your answer. Twilight Force have merged virtuosity with childhood dreams and wonder.

Only problem I have with this band is the singer... He cannot perform the songs as they are on the albums. Like the song Twilight Horizon, and even this one, Powerwind. He sings them all much lower. It's a let down.
Singer is very good, yes he not song all live songs in high picht but he show he can do it very well, i think he just take care his voice for all show...he can reach high pitch beauty and melodic with quality
+Enrique Rull I don't know, man... Tobias Sammet, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, Todd La Torre, Ralf Scheepers, Fabio Lione, Andre Matos, etc all seem to be able to sing all of their high notes fine. Christian should take some lessons/coaching. He's good in mid range, but higher stuff he just doesn't do it live.
So what system do you have that manages to remove the absolutely horrendous overload of keyboards? I want one of those too. When I listen to metal I want guitars.

Really? I can't understand how can you say that there is a lack of creativity in this album. If we are talking about the first one, it would be Ok, 'cause it was pretty generic (also with beautiful melodies).
But "Heroes of Mighty Magic", has an INCREDIBLE composition work. The orchestral parts are awesome, and the structure of the different tracks isn't typical. There are just a few "songs", there is almost no-Pop mentality in the album; there are a lot of different parts, different atmospheres. This is NOT a generic Power Metal album. This is a GREAT album, with a lot of work and a lot of study.
Of course, every band has its own influences...but that's not "stealing" or "copy".
C'mon, let's send good arcane feelings to these guys, they are a young, and they are making awesome music.

Totally agree. I've listened to a LOT of power metal albums, but this? this is a musical adventure. No other band has made me smile, scream, and headbang as much as Twilight Force, they're a light of hope for music.

Yeah,I saw them live last night.I thought that they're going to be bad compared to Sabaton and Accept which played after them,but holy shit the guitarist is fucking beast and vocals were amazing too,only bad thing was very bad keyboard sound,it had too much pitch and the drummer was hidden in the back of the stage :C

(sorry for my bad english, im German) i almost cry of amazeness. my favotite band so far. i search since 3 years for a real fantasy adventure metal band. i found nightwish, rhapsody of fire, sonata arctica, dragonforce, avantasia, wisdom and more. but... just Twilight Force make me feel like in LOTR, LOZ, LOTS or a Disney movie. and it makes me smile. :) Twilight Force for ever!!

Saw these guys live with Sonata Arctica a few days ago, and they put on an absolutely amazing show - I liked them even better than the main act, which sure means something coming from an old Sonata fan such as I am. TF's lead guitarist has some mind-blowing skills, and Chrileon has to be one of the best vocalists in today's Power Metal scene. He's also a totally cool dude - we hung out with him after the show and took some pictures. Long live Twilight Force!
This song got me into this band, I bought their albums, bought a walkman CD Player, havent stopped listening to this group for over 30 days...Great band, great album, great song....but this music is not for everyone...Keep up the great work Twilight Force, and thank you Nuclear Blast for signing them.

Amazing I love it! Listening to the entire album last night had me smiling the entire time. I love how the guitars and the other stringed, brass, wind instruments are together. It reminds me of Balflare but a whole lot more epic and melodic! Others prob hate it but thats what especially draws me to this band is the other instruments being up front making the sound. Beautifully epic!
