For any one scrolling through these comments. First thing i have to say, is if you go to way of the demon. Get your weapon and gear to PLUS 10 then continue. Second of all GET THE YASAKANI MAGATAMA. Third, please utilize all of your stances, not just mid stance. All in all a good video. Lots of new information out now. Very honest , and chill.
I like how authenticallt honest this video is. Watching you talk about it as you play it was refreshing hearing how much you respect the game. Good stuff
What's annoying in Nioh game+ is they just keep adding overpowered bosses in one battle to make it harder. I wouldn't be surprised if they put all the enemies in one battle.
Nioh really doesn't want you to keep playing it... personally... i felt they ran out of ideas by the end and just let the Grinders have fun.
@@hitmanwolf hard agree, theres a reason why theres always the same enemies in. each area. I really wish they wouldve made the yokai specific to the region in which they were in and use local lore from those regions to design the yokai. I would say the only thing the game has going for it is gameplay and style. God its such a beautiful game and the combat is so satisfying when youre effortlessly defeating enemies with your katana like Zoro from one piece. The enemies are really cool tho. All in all I cant wait for nioh 2

I was actually enjoying Nioh until I hit Way of the Demon. That difficulty just soured the entire game for me and made me quit it.
Lol if they add another difficulty it should be called way of the suicidal.
I actually think it would be nice if they named it Way of the Nioh.
Way of the Nioh would be the 4th one.
Im struggling with the level 330 missions on Way of the Strong, that mindlessly throws multiple enemies at you, and is making me feel suicidal already.
Try the 5th playthrough... did all 5 in 136 hours
@@Strider-Ragnarok need to redo your build if you find yourself struggling at that point. You should be destroying shit come end game

I like the "ungreedy" 1-2 strikes only on enemies no matter who they are! Gotta keep that ki up and undrained! Goes for Nioh 2 too! 👍
Hi, I just climbed to level 400 and in the middle of the path of the demon.
Question:
How can I get to level 401? The required Amrita are strokes.

mach den frosch in tokai("der kampf mit dem riesenfrosch"/nebenmission). der gibt ordentlich und den schafft man in 20 sekunden
Do mobs in way of the demon have better dmg mitigation? Noticed you hitting for only 1k in the back. Im using kingo, warrior of the west, yasakani magatama, kato spirit and i hit for 5-9k in the back on every hit in way of the strong
After chipping away at some missions on wotd the queens eye unlocks. Speedrun to the last part and take out those 3 pain in the ass guys with a cannon and living weapon. Charge up your living weapon for the boss and beat it, that will unlock wotw.
Then speed run some levels on wotw, the bridge glitch side mission and the toad side mission. This will get you a heap of levels and also you can forge better gear then go back to wotd
Should really use the high stance with the kusarigama, more hits and most powerful and not that slow really compared to other stances, great vid by the way
Great trick to fight bosses is too use sloth in the omnyo skill set. Slow them right down so u can dodge an attack more effectively
Tinokura Simiona sloth lasts five seconds to bosses in WotD
After 5th playthrough sloth dont really work but 2 to 3 seconds.
when do you unlouck the max level which is 750 cuz i cant level up stuck in 400

I've completed all main and sub missions on way of samurai and of strong(lvl 245 with a mix of+7 and +8 gear), but I cant access demon. What am I missing? I have the base game, it was free download on ps plus. Do I need DLC to get wotd?
@@XcobaltLion Everything is done, still no demon. I think the wotd is part of the DLC
@@TheChimpoko1 late reply but yes. Way of Demon is with Dragon of North dlc. Way of Wise with Defiant Honor and Way of Nioh with Bloodshed End

Do you also have the Dragon of the North DLC? Someone was telling me that it was required for Way of the Demon.

The DLC is required for the new missions and from what people are saying the difficulty too.

wow. so they're including black phantom enemies in NG++ just like Dark Souls 2 did. Cool Beans Team Ninja...sounds great imo.
How do you unlock way of the demon? I completed the queens eye on way of the strong and have yet to unlock way of the demon. Is there something else I need to do? I even did queens eye a 2nd time in case it glitched but still not working

@@dile3725 Yeah I found that out now, literally couldnt find anything that said you needed the dlcs but can confirm you need them
So is there some sort of secret to weapons that i'm not getting? Cause I'm using a level 150 +1 Odachi and spear and not doing nearly as much damage as most people. I also see people with higher level weapons like you had a level 178 weapon I believe. I'm just hoping i've missed something and it's not up to the luck of getting all these buffs and weapon stats that you need.
The weapon numbers should be going up the further you play into way of the demon. You can soul match the weapon you like with one at a higher level in order to raise it up and the + value for divine gear.
Is mission level depends on your character level too? mine highest mission level is 200. while my character is 135.
I don't know, I haven't noticed any level increases since I've been doing way of the demon.
can you explain how to get NG++? since I beat the end boss first time western guy on castle (sorry forget the name) the game still continue with way of strong. The highest mission level is 200. While maria level on DLC is 170 (if I'm not wrong)
Have you completed all the missions not counting the free ones released last month and the Dragon of the North stuff? Someone was saying that you had to buy the DLC to get it, but it sounds like you already have it. I had full mission clear before I bought the DLC and the Way of the Demon was unlocked afterwards.
i bought deluxe edition. so it includes 2 DLCs. on way of strong I've not finished all mission. maybe thats why I haven't unlock way of demon. Thanks for the info, I'll try to clear way of strong all missions, and look forward DLC on way of demon :)

From what people are telling me, I think the answer is yes. The only missions that don't count thankfully are the Iga missions that were added for free back in patch 1.06
You need to complete queen's eye in strong
JaySw34 for game + beat queens eyes, for game ++ same and so on, but queen eyes is not available in the start, need to fill the bar first
How can I activate the DLC, I purchased the DLC, but I can't access the new content, The Tohoku map is still unable to select. Can anyone help me?
You have to manually download it. Search in add on.
After you downloaded the dlc make sure you go to the shrine and check on the boons tab. That helped make sure all the dlc I bought was downloaded and recognized by the game.
I've completed all missions in way of the strong but I still can't unlock the way of the demon how can I unlock it????😩😩😩

the Dlc region in way of the demon is sooo fucking broken...Date Masamune is faster then in way of the strong,has 100000000000000000000 HP and oneshots you with every attack :( ......i better go back to my dark souls sl1 ng plus 7 run xD
Single boss fights other than Maria weren't hard for me... but doing the Iga missions from 1.06 patch, holy shit.. I spent around 3 hours doing those 2 quests with a broken build

That's a good question. I had it unlocked when I downloaded patch 1.08. I think you have to beat the main missions on Way of the Strong, but I don't know for sure.
Beat way of the strong Queen's Eyes

Have you beaten Hundred Eyes in England? That seemed to be the qualification to unlock the next difficulty tier.

Yes I did, but it still won't take me there, plus I have successfully fill up the mission rate bar. Really fustsrting , any further advise ?
BSS Have you beat all the other main missions? My bar isn't filled up all the way but I have cleared all main missions on way of the strong and I have unlocked Way of the Demon. You don't have to do any sub missions.
Yeah brother, I did finish every main mission, I don't know if there is a technical prob, but I also can't connect to the soc also, very strange and depress
Kunai build make this game pritty easy, try it.
That and sloth....beat all 5 playthroughs in 130 hours
shit I just got my stuff to +10 now I need to get another 10 ... Im not even level 200 yet arg.
not sure why people use a skipping rope as a weapon. My set is the kingdo set {or what ever its call} for all the close combat damage and final blow, plus the warrior of west 4 peice with that yummy item that lowers set cost :3

How to unlock way of demon?
You need to beat the campaign missions to fill up that progress bar and beat 1,000 eyes on way of the strong to unlock it.

At the time, I had to beat every mission (not counting DLC) on way of the strong. I don't know if they changed that after the releases of the DLC packs.
Game-Wisdom just realized that after the bar was at the end i could do queens eyes mission, after that was like if i beat the game twice, inmediately after, i got demon unlocked :)

Did you finish the final mission back in London against hundred eyes? As that always unlocked the next difficulty for me.

I don't know 100% but I did have the DLC for my runs.
Game-Wisdom Theres an achivement in "dragon of the north" called slayer of demons, where you have to beat way of the demon, so yeah.
I finished my first playthrough of the game 60 lvls below the mission lvl

they've changed this game up too much. Seems like when it first came out, the game was easy for players, now it's hard af.

Lord Zuko oh man....so many deaths on that beach in alpha....all of us strutting over from dark souls....get rekt in 15 seconds....hate the game for 30 minutes...complain at devs, still struggle while bitching, suddenly it clicks....best game ever now, never looked back....also when did patton oswalt start streaming games while hes baked?
I mean it is a souls inspired game which the motto for souls games is git gud
@@corynorgrove9794 tbh only thing similar about it to souls is the leveling and shrine/bonfires. Thats it nioh has way different mechanics and replies on ki pulse and stance switching while ds is just using i frames. Nioh is more like diablo

I do not call it difficult, its just random and 'cheap hard'
Too much enemies who can one hit kill you from all degrees, is a lot of random, sure it's not only random, have space for skill too, but in my opinion a big percentage is random
I mean, people do 'no damage runs' because people do alot of damage which reduce the battle time alot and then reduce randomness, but try to do no damage without lv up and without use omnio or ninjitsu it is possible but a top player will need multiple tries, there will be alot of situations where we just got no luck.
ps(edited): Especially when the map is full of enemies and you do not happen to be seeing all of them at the same time, and especially if the weapon is slow

I agree, there is too much stuff that can one hit kill you. Thats infact cheap, instead of actually making it more difficult the way its supposed to be done, they just make random attacks one shot you. It isnt even fun anymore at this point.
