It takes around 200k for me to level up and I keep dying in such bullshit ways in side missions and then dying again on my way to get my grave. I lost 7 level ups and I'm so mad I could just about kill somebody.
Level will not help you pass Region 4. What you need are updated gearset and gameplay experience. If thats not working, you can try to get onmyo skill that lower defense and/or speed like Weakness and/or Sloth Talisman. Also, you can try to use the guardian spirit Kato (when low on health) to go for living weapon and be temporary overpowered.

RESUME: as a noob choose or the fire dog or the wind phoenix... i didn't see too much profit with the stupid shark(defensive) at a glance. phoenix seems bad but the mobility it has is so nice specially with you use low stance is devastating ;) and still gets considerable damage on the fucker! Easier to kill hordes with it. ps: i am a noob and judging for this video... that twin dogs though horde killers ;) i mean the most irritating are the low npcs right, bosses you don't want to kill them fast with fire power, you wanna hurt them slowly and precisely right? (when a dudley player goes nioh:)

You can get major guardian deities as spirits in Nioh. Freaking awesome.

Kato and enko have the best cinematics entrance in the game and both are powerful!
Kato was early game and enko was late base game these boi carry me like crazy the fire dmg is just too good
I like Enko. He is a fat tiger who blows up humanoid bosses and leaves them wide open for a finishing blow. What is not to love?
Paired Raiken never failed me, no matter what Region Level or enemy, they always got my back

you press triangle and circle to use guardian spirit attack like how you trigger living weapon

Hey guys after living weapon is activated, and pressing triangle+circle my dragon just hover above my head and doesn't attack. Did I miss something???
apparently there's delayed attack with the dragon
The dragon attack when you get hit once (while he float above you) as a counter attack.

your dragon just there to watch how awesome you are. if you tske out some enemy he will clap his small dragon hands and cheer for you.
