( www.alltfl.com ) Watch more videos from TFL Studios! Of the four concepts hitting this year's Easter Jeep Safari, the Grand Wagoneer-based Vacationeer is definitely the largest of them all (and most expensive, were it to actually go into production). Still, this is the ultimate glamorous overlanding/camping rig of them all, as Roman and Tommy point out in this video!

Trucks/SUV with smaller wheels and large sidewall tires look so much better.
yes as agree. all these giant alloys and all are a silly urban fad which is solely aimed at “street cred”. if you live in the countryside or drive regularly on bad roads, it is definitely better to have higher and thicker sidewalls.
Dont you like the Big Rim Ghetto Looks ?
The color reminds me of the Forest Service Green!! It looks amazing!!
Hey guys. I've been subscribed for yrs now but have never commented before. Always come to you guys for the best reviews but my favorite videos are your father and son videos..I would love to go to work with my kids and have awesome experiences together. So nice to watch..its an added bonus to the channel. Thanks guys 😁
I love the wheels on that thing. BTW, that is not just a cactus, but an aloe vera plant. The juices inside are natural ointments for scratches, dry skin, sunburn, windburn, and insect bites. The perfect glamping accompaniment. ;-)
“Best” isn’t just about capability but reliability. Time will tell.
I am all about the vintage look to this!❤
WAY too EXPENSIVE! The industry still doesn’t understand that they need to produce more vehicles that the average person can afford. They’re producing expensive prototypes for potential new vehicles , while they’re laying off employees! And why exactly are they laying so many employees off? Because they can’t sale the Hugh inventory of vehicles that they currently have, BECAUSE they’re WAY too EXPENSIVE! So why would they even consider designing/building even more expensive vehicles than they already currently have, and CANT SALE? This seems to be the very definition of crazy. Continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results. New management mentality is called for.
I don't think being towed to a garage classifies as Overlanding, but to each their own. 🤷
$155,000 I’m guessing?
That's without the roof tent.
Yes
@@AO-mx9tk I know what they said on the show, but let’s be real. The vehicle from factory is normally 100k-115k. The tent is 20-30k ok. Now yes you have added options for lights and tires etc., but you also have a lot removed. From the vehicle now. Like the two captain chairs and the third row seating so now it doesn’t require as much in safety aka airbags and safety belts just to start. So I’m assuming it’s less than a normal fancy one with added options. Now sure if you don’t see it and call it out they can charge anyone like a fool who will pay.
@bradlafley134 just because it doesn't have rear seats doesn't mean it's going to be cheaper
@@krover01can you read. I also stated safety equipment like seat belts and airbags. How much do you think rear curtain airbags cost?
Finally, a real overland package. I wish more SUV’s came with removable seats.
If Jeep had used this interior and the wood strip on the Grand Wagoner and priced at say 70k tops they might sell a couple.
I see them all over the place in California
jeep and best, in the same sentence.
I thought it was 1rst april!
Color combo makes it look like an old forest service rig.
Life long jeeper here. Had an extended rental period with a Wagoneer. Not in the least off-road worthy. Not even close.
That color is awesome. What a great rig this would be for a road trip.
This one is my favorite. Looks so cozy. Imagine driving without destination and it's raining ouitside.
oh the green and cream colour is lovely. and indeed this is a nice tip of the hat to the old willys overland vehicles with the wooden sides and all.
You are the BEST! Thank you for showing us this awesome Jeep!
That green is Forest Service green. They started phasing it out 15 years ago because the big 3 were charging too much for the specialty paint, while Chrysler, if I remember correctly, stopped offering it altogether. Ford did this better with their USFS Bronco concept rig.
If I had the money would do this in a heart beat!
Love those seats!!!!!
This is an over the top Jeep luxury off roader. That Color is the best thing! And the white rims. And the seats. And everything seems awesome. To bad that the cost of the concept will basically make it just a dream. Who, in their right mind would take this jewel anywhere off the beaten path?
I love it! I would have kept the second row of seats for a bit of practicality, but otherwise really love what they did. The color scheme reminded me of the original Wagoneers in the 60's.
How is Jeep installing a ~1.5” lift? The display appeared to indicate this GW has the air suspension. Are they using lift rods, similar to what you can get for the Defender?
Love the interior.. Jeep or an after market company needs to produce this interior.
Loving the older ' days of Jeep ' as far as colors go, I like it ! I think its pretty cool ! Another great Video guys. Thank you for all the work you guys do on these.
1:00 The door panels don't line up. LOL
The color would look great in the snow.
That color though?
Looks awesome
Calypso Green....used in 93 on select fords also...lol
It’s hideous to me, but if people want it, they should sell it. It’s not going to hurt my feelings if it makes other people happy.
like the white steelies , @2:09 should of taken out the panoramic sunroof and did a full stand up camper top
Should have done this with the Pacifica minivan- stow and go seating wins!
Thanks but I’ll keep my Lexus GX460-and it will still be going strong in 30 years.
What a great color combo!! That thing looks terrific!! 👍🏻😎👍🏻
At 8:45 when you mentioned whether or not there are off-road Tahoes or Cadillac Escalades! YUP! I see lots of 'Slades here in Metro Vancouver that have 35 Inch M/T's and big lifts along with roof-top tents and bucketloads of LED fog lights and high lumens lightbars for their weekend Glamping sessions at the Whistler-Blackcomb Ski Resort RV parking lot!
Add in the combo fridge-freezer and 3000 watt Li-Ion power system to power it all and their evening imbibing of some Ace of Spades champagne by the portable propane fireplace after their ski-boot dances at the Longhorn Saloon gives glamping a whole new meaning!
V
Awesome Concept, Awesome TFLoffroad!
Jajajaj we are going retro again to the early 70’s just like clothes lol 😆
I would buy that for sure
Holy crap this is amazing
Easter egg color
Hey Jeep, Less screens, More physical buttons, No air suspension, No panorama sunroof, Then this concept would work!
Awesome looking rig grate show
Great for the super rich I like the short cut concept vehicle that is cool!
Gorgeous concept. Would have appreciated more of a review of what the Grand Wagoneer is underneath as most of us aren't familiar
I miss the original Grand Wagoneer Grill.. it was like a big shield and the old Grand Wagoneer was top tier luxury and off road capabilities. I would say it was the ultimate truck back then.. I CuZn owned one and it was the most biggest luxury off-road truck I ever been in .. the leather seat back then was like the softest bust still perfect cushion couches I ever sat in.. I been in some top tier German cars but the leather of the old wagoneer was in a different level
It is lovely, and I agree they should employ that color throughout their lineup. Oh!! And the MacIntosh sound system is worth buying the damn thing, tbh.
Very luxurious way to Overland
I agree love the Jeep Wagoner as a off-roader for overloading
I like companies having fun. I like far out innovations that might trickle down eventually but..... Jeep's busy doing stuff like this while the Gladiator STILL only has 1 engine choice (no 392, no 4XE, no diesel, and no hurricane.) "Lets give them even MORE screens and $30,000 tents. That's what the consumers want."
I’m not even 1 minute into the video… I’m going to ignore the best overlander ever… I mean hell, I drive a 18 tundra… I like jeeps but it’s not my thing. Now what I can say is the color scheme on this sub is BEAUTIFUL. I love green, brown and other bright colors… the white rims look cool on this as well. Hell, my tundra is mesquite brown which I adore. Okay, let’s see what made them claim this was the best overlander in the world 😂
Edit: 20-40k rooftop tent? 😮😅
Its the family truckster!!!
Where's the part where they open the tent?
This was my favorite Jeep concept at EJS. I spent some time with one of the Jeep guys and $150K sounds about what it would cost if they actually made it. That Redtail is crazy nice, but you can’t even buy it without buying their $530K van. They won’t sell you one on its own, even if you wanted to try and make something like this yourself - this whole set up is the definition of glamping.
Looks like the fenders were trimmed?
Super cool Wagoneer.
I love the color, metallic pea? and the wood grain on the side is awesome. When they become available, I'm definitely getting me a family truckster.
I just hope the dealer doesn't squash my trade-in
Love it!
When I was a kid, we had a Plymouth Volare Premiere wagon with vinyl wood siding. I think it was the last year it was made. It had the 8 track player even though normal cassettes were already popular. Lots of fun road trips on that thing.
The Volare had a huge choice of radios, 8 track, cassette, fully electronic am/fm, and even an am/fm with CB
@@user-pgchargerse71 Back then there was a 8track to cassette adapter that we bought.. We only had the one 8track cassette that came with the car. I don't think it even had FM radio but it did have a digital clock.
I think it's really good looking. Will the drive train and suspension hold up on this like a 4runner?
Edison diesel/electric is making leaps in the field. Offering kits to older trucks which saves on just throwing them away to a scrap yard.
All the info that we need: paint, aesthetics, massaging seats.... Not all of the useless info that overlanders need like range or payload.
/s of course.
So they basically did what 20 year olds have been doing with old SUVs for decades
Missed seeing You and Your Dad together on Your Channel 💙
The same color as "Flubber"!
It would be cool if they made the rear most windows and hatch window roll down
We need Overland or Trailhawk term for the Wagoneer.
This would be hella expensive, but if they made this....people would buy this.
The bombastic, clearly false, video titles as of late have started to turn me off…
It's been for a while now
I used to get mad about this too. But all my favorites are doing it now. It’s the only way to get views on CZcams. At some point, they’re all just doing what they need to do.
Thought it was a large Bronco Sport for a second.
I don’t think it’d be as expensive as you make it out to be. Stripping out the rear seats and entertainment systems will save a lotttt of money if it ever goes into production
Well, since we can’t get a Troopy with a roof conversion in the states…
Hopefully someone will figure out how to cut a similar hole in the US 4runner or Land Cruiser
Sweet retro.
I have a 77 with plaid seats well what's left of them.
Happy Easter to the Entire TFL Staff, you guys work Soo hard , Enjoy some family time, from a subscriber since day one, I remember your first video ever. Cool color, they should make a wrangler in that color with that interior design!
The wheels and tires looks cool but as someone with a family, I can't buy something so large that only seats one passenger.
And you thought climbing a ladder to access a tent was hard. Now… you can squat down, crawl then climb up a chimney to get in it
I wonder if this is last year’s wagoner slightly modified. Looks very similar besides color.
I must say I love those seats!! Even if it has a hint of the 90's 😂
However, the B, C, and D pillars are just weird looking to me. The kind of produce the letter U and almost look like they're upside down? If that makes sense 😂 the soft U shape doesn't blend well in my opinion, please on the next refresh, make it so the pillars are less of a design focal point.
Glad they're finally admitting what we all knew all along, that this is in fact a Jeep. C'mon guys, read the room. The marketing tricks will not work amongst the Jeep community. I think they were trying to do what Hyundai did to Genesis a few years ago.
Cool that Jeep is making a home for those that can’t afford a house in todays outrageous house prices. Could be a big seller.
You’re going to have to take out a mortgage to buy it.
It looks just like the tan & graphite Grand Wagoneer Overland concept that was there last year. New color, new upholstery but other than that there is nothing new. They even used the same baby cacti pots.
It doesn’t have a lift, you can’t add a lift to this air suspension system, it only has larger cutouts in the fender. You can buy adjustable sensor links that will fool the Wagoneer into thinking its in the low position when its really in the high position, but that’s the only way to “lift” it outside of its programmed parameters. Stock you can fit 34 inch tires, you have to cut about an inch out to fit 35’s, BUT there is a large metal plate behind the front wheel wells that make it a pain. I am in the process of building out mine right now, and its a pain because there are almost no aftermarket parts for it, so I am having to try to get custom bumpers built and other items.
Overlanding: “why did you grand wagoneer shut down?”….”seat massagers have an error in the code and it’s telling me to limp to nearest dealership…”
Something like this w/o the rooftop tent that people actually want? Ya, Stellantis will never build it...
Yes, bring back the wood panels, at the very least in small accents! This is truly and estate wagon! ( But you have have to sell the estate to afford it)
0:54 it obviously wasn't real wood, it was kinda a vinyl wrap on the doors that was made to look like wood.
I forgot EJS is going on. I'll be avoiding Jeep news videos until news goes back to real vehicles I'll actually see.
"I could live in there" but who would want too? At best it is an over night experience. I would take a van for less than 1/2 the price throw a bed down and a few amenities and be far more comfortable. And have a lot of $ left over for the cost of traveling the country side. lol.
And you would t be able to get to but a fraction of the places this will take you.
@@Queensizemusic Fine, then addendum: Put a motorbike rack on the back and I am covered to more places for less. 😏
@@WW-wf8tu okay. Then less is what you’ll get, I guess.
The stereo in this thing is probably $25,000. Google MacIntosh amps
Is Roman feeling better?
Looks like something the slimy car salesman would convince the Griswold’s to buy before they head out on an Overland vacation disaster.
This color is the Park Service green. Very cool.
Hideous
I thought it was electric mucus
Hideous
Looks like a border patrol vehicle
Pretty cool.
Best ever?? Are you kidding me Clark??
The review should have started on the engine specs first because everything else that was mentioned is just fluff on top of the engine. Going back to the engine, that 3.0 Turbo is not a proven engine yet so why wouldn’t Jeep pick a more reliable option? The 3.0 is being pushed to the limit to produce that horsepower. It’s not going to last.
Premium gas only.
I know people recoil at EV’s sometimes but honestly I think down the line when they presumably become more reliable, over landing seems like a possibly perfect use-case for electric vehicles.
If you could have an off roader where your only mechanical concern is the suspension/brakes, that’s a dream come true
Ehh.... The hurricane crate engine is capable of 1,000 hp... 500 hp isn't a big deal. It's designed to produce the power.
@@chrisgill7824😂😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
@baxter4303 All modern turbo vehicles require 93
If they bring it to market it'll probably be $150000 plus another $50000 mark up. Stellantis is killing the brand. CDJR would be much better in American hands. I've been brand loyal for decades, but now I won't touch them with a 10 foot pole.
Hey! I have seen father and son in a video in a minute. What a🔥 4:35 🐦🔥 concept jeep Huh!?
Color is like a forest service (USFS) vehicle.
Dodge Aspen 2.0 overlander. Fixed it.
Looks like fun.
Can’t wait for the new 2025 Jeep Unicycle that’s only $150k😜
I highly anticipated the Grand Wagoneer but felt let down by the styling. I guess I was expect something with more straight edges, square nose maybe. Bronco and wrangler like, which I think both look good. Edit: I do like the retro interior, my wife would hate it…
