      @@turabahmad6214 I just follow the bottle. One pill daily of each. But everyone is different. You can pick one and see how your body tolerates it. Drinking Lemon Balm tea helps too.

      @@thewordens3965 100 mg (I'm very sensitive though) sometimes I use it after work if I'm groggy so (200 a day max for me) depends on the person though

      I am the same i can't and dont like the caffine feeling. I have just ordered some after a google search of herbs that can increase my focus and just heard it is great for a workout! I will report back in a week or so. I should come by webs i'd think.

    Hello Dr Jin Sung just started using Rhodiola for my chronic anxiety and cptsd symptoms. After about 30 minutes I felt this immediate calmness. Wow! Took 600mg maybe a bit too much to begin with as I developed a bit of a headache. Will keep using it at a lower dose and update. So far it's looking like it's a great addition in my routine

      Can you please tell us more about your case after these 9 months? Did it help with your anxiety and CPTSD? I'm considering taking Rhodiola for the same reason than you. Any recommendations are very appreciated

    May I just say THANK YOU for making this video!! I have started taking rhodiola because it was given to me as a sample. I watched this video 2 months ago when I first started taking it. After watching this video I switched to a supplement (Adrenal-T from Life Seasons Therapeutics) which I chose because it has Rhodiola, Holy Basil, Ashwagandha as well as a blend of other things. I really notice a difference in my energy levels and mood. I am happier, more smiley, and feel a sense of chill. I have not tried splitting the dosage but maybe I will give that a shot. Thanks for your easy to understand detailed video.

    Very interesting! I will try this. I have had chronic fatigue for decades. Veganism has made a big difference, but somtimes things are still off. I wish i could just raw diet. Thanks for the explanation.

    I like rhodiola in the morning to help with CFIDS/ME but holy basil and ashwaganda at night time for better sleep.
    Will that still provide the proper synergistic effect?

    I took this when I had mono along with Ashwagandha. Seemed to help with stress levels. My problem now is spleen pain.

    Rhodiola came highly recommended for stress and I had been using for roughly 5 years. 5-HTP was also recommended for depression and I read that the use of both supplements simultaneously is not recommended. Now I am lost as to what to use. I appreciate your explanation regarding rhodiola, Dr . Sung! Would you be able to recommend a physician in the Seattle area?

      If you drink coffee id recommend krios coffee, has rhodiola in it and has helped me tremendously with stress and focus.

    Can I take Rhodiola in the morning for its energetic effects and Ashwagandha in the evening for its sedative effectives and still get the synergetic benefits? Or, should I take them together since I have them in separate forms. Note that sleep is important to me.

    I've read that rhodiola is not good for those with fibromyalgia? Any opinion or feedback on that? I am taking an adaptogen blend and haven't seen any adverse effects, but I'll probably give it a gap, and see again in a few days.

      I had something like lets say irritable bladder or idk what it was. When I had no pain it worked perfectly when my back hurt it made the pain worse. so I first managed my symptoms on my own

    @dr.sung Is it recommended to follow a pattern of using it like Ashwaghanda, 30-ish days at a time with 2-4week breaks in between so you’re not constantly modulating or buffering your cortisol?

      Ive read thats good to take a break of 15 days after a month. Or you can try different cycles like alternate days or 4 days on 3 days off etc

    I still don’t know if I have chronic fatigue due to my Sjögren’s or IBM (myositis) or supposedly fibromyalgia…. All I know is meditation and distressing really helps my fatigue . Would Rhodiola help someone like me who has these two autoimmunes? The immune stimulation concerns me but the adaptogen interests me…. Hmm something to think about here.

      Usually works better in combination of all of them unless a person is allergic or reacts to certain herbs. Many supplements companies make them in combination.

    Hi Dr. ,
    I hope you’re well. I recently completed a course on adaptogenics and am interested in incorporating Rhodiola into my regimen, as I suffer from anxiety and depression. Currently, I am using Schisandra for performance and am exploring additional natural options.
    In the past, I was misdiagnosed and prescribed opioid medication, which I have successfully weaned off. Presently, I am taking Quetiapine for insomnia and Fluoxetine in the morning. I have come to realize that my insomnia may have been more closely related to overtraining and underfeeding rather than underlying mental health issues, which led to several misdiagnoses over the past seven years. I have made significant progress and am now only using these two medications.
    Before starting Rhodiola, I have read that it might have some contraindications when used with mental health medications. Could you advise on any potential side effects or interactions I should be aware of?

    Dr. Sung, are you able to take Rhodiola long term, is it hard on the liver or kidneys, and I read that Ashwaghanda is hard on the liver and should not be taken for long periods of time?

      No it is not hard on the liver and/or kidney. Ashwagandha does not affect everyone's kidney.

      Juice fast or celery juice in the morning( alternative juices are any green juice, aloe vera juice, cucumber juice, lemon water), drink or put fresh ginger in your foods also cinnamon and turmeric. Go low fat( or without any fats for a healing period) and low protein if you wanna eat more carbs. No processed foods. Eat alot fresh fruits and veggies, steamed food is ok. Liquid zinc and magnesium is very important, for blood sugar control you can try fenugreek. For faster immune boost you can take N.A.C.
