BTW before I see the Space Ishtar comments, she's also good. Kinda like Arjuna Alter in that her damage is good and relatively free. However, w/o a damage mod or being a Zerk for super effective damage, I prefer the other servants over her.
If you want to use her though, you'll be fine. As mentioned in the video, these are just the people I consider to be the best options but most Buster is all about having the battery to get the job done and doing enough damage, very simple as ooga booga farming should be lol
In short, if you didn't see "insert X servant here" I'm not saying they're bad/not worth using, just that these are servants I view as being better, which doesn't make the other servants worse.
Well I don't have Arjuna Alter... but I have plenty of other Buster loopers: NP3 Ishtar, NP3 Artoria, NP3 Summer Umu, NP5 Spishtar, and NP5 Eresh (just to say "Hi" to Gil whenever he shows up lol).
Of all the others Morgan is definitely on my radar... because EVERYTHING about her is just awesome.

Overall a pretty neat video; however, I do have to comment on a few things. Primarily, Melusine. I would argue that Melusine, in general, is the best option for buster farming due to the flexibility that her low cooldown battery gives her, coupled with her insane neutral damage potential. Her damage, at NP1 neutral, is about 400K per enemy on third wave assuming double koyan + oberon with mlb black grail, which is on par with Arjuna Alter under optimal circumstances. This damage means that even if she were going against sabers, Melusine would still be able to clear 90+ nodes with enemies that have 180k HP. Furthermore, what I think is the real benefit of Melusine over other farmers: she is able to run 6CE comps, thus utilizing maximum farming efficiency, due to her 100% battery. Though I will concede that a drawback to using her would be her longer animations due to her transition between ascensions. Another criticism of the video I have is that it seems you prioritize damage, whereas realistically every competent buster farmer can clear all 90+ nodes easily due to them only having HP under 200K, and then 90++ nodes typically requiring specific comps due to having enemies with 1+ million HP. Thus a comparison of 430K vs 440K damage is somewhat irrelevant when in optimal farming comps you look for what will most efficiently beat that specific 90++ node. These are just my immediate thoughts, anyway. Enjoyed the video, have a great day!
the only issue is melusine at turn 1 and 2 would do significantly worse than her turn 3 damage, being around 93k and 119k (which would be lowered down to 84k and 107k when fighting sky enemy) respectively with mlbbg + double koyan + oberon set up, which means she would have trouble dealing with sabers and can potentially not kill against neutral class turn 2 big enemies in 90+, for example, in recent events, we have a 159k in t2 of 90+ bronze and 131k + 125k in t2 of 90+ gold (Grail Live), 156k in t2 90+ (Valentine 2023).
Melu is overrated asf because people only look at W3 damage when judging farming smh. Most Buster fails are on T1/T2 because Koyan doesn't provide much outside of Man and her stacking gimmick. Not just Melu, EVERY BUSTER would fail 90+ on T1/T2 at NP1 because they can't deal with ~100k mobs on early turns. It's the same as it always has been for Arts and Quicks too smh. Oberon carrying one wave doesn't mean much when the other cardtypes can use him too going forward.

@@justindalton8701 np level affects the damage multiplier of the np, charges affects extra buffs that were built into the np, there are currently only 3 servants that get bonus damage multiplier with charge, which is arash, chen gong, and bhima

Yeah, once Kukulkan released I pretty much dropped my plans of going for Arcueid.
Both are mostly neutral hitting classes, and Kuku has more button presses which makes the process a bit longer, but overall she's MUCH more applicable. The triple buster deck and her passive + the added skill mechanic also makes her fantastic for soloing, which Arc really can't do reliably without prior setup, and by then you're not really soloing. Coupled with the fact that she's pretty much on par with Arjuna Alter with much better survivability and you got a monster of a servant right there.
After Oberon, I'm pretty much only spending on GSSRs. All of my remaining SQ are going in on an attempt to NP5 Nuclear Fusion-chan. I already got NP2 AA, Artoria and Gil, not to mention a NP4 SpIshtar, so I'm honestly good on loopers so long as I get KoyanLight+Oberon

Kuku can't 6-slot consistently which is a huge problem. And she gets cucked by 2 wave nodes because her main skills CDs are all 6. As a DPS she's better but still eh, Arkood any day for me lol.
@@kun2588 oh, I agree that Arc's a lot more forgiving when it comes to stable looping and general farming.
The reason I'm leaning towards Kuku is because she has more varied applications, as she's generally better than Arc in every other aspect besides farming. It's also easier to loop 90++ farming nodes with Kuku due to the higher damage ceiling with similar investments.
Arcueid’s biggest drawback is not being able to plugsuit Oberon and her mediocre damage modifiers.
Though, at NP5 + maximum invested she farms much faster than the rest

I already have Junao and i'm planning to upgrade his NP Level Next Year.
Melu will be my default Buster Farmer unless there is really a tough saber fight she can't handle (which i doubt) ill bring Junao instead.
Why don't you use the looping sheets?, you can see the servants damage output and the setups in which they are able to loop there.
Tiamat and Melusine are better than Kukulkan most of the time.
Tiamat can't deal with the knight class and your Melusine sucks against Sabers while Kukulkan claps everyone lol

you're forgetting Oberon's 3rd skill tho. That's gonna double BG up to 160%, and double whatever other NP buffs are on your DPS. Mélusine will out-damage Kuku against everything except Sabers, and Tiamat will annihilate calvary classes compared to Kuku.
Melusine does so much damage with oberon she can even farm while having class disadvantage as long as it's not 90++ 😅
And kuku is iffy on the 90++ nodes even when it's sabers, she can't run the BBG and her oberon comps are wanky compared to tiamata/mélu
Seeing how much simpler Buster Farming is than Arts and Quick Farming, I'm tempted to let Morgan pass and take a chance on Koyanskaya's banner

I'm going to drop like 10 tickets for Morgan then go for kyoyan and oberon then summer kama and melusine and that's the year for me I may try for Morgan or np2 spishtar for the gssr
I'm going for Morgan, NP1 for the moment. I'll try to get her to NP2 at some point, but I also need Koyan and Oberon so I'll prioritize those first.
Definitely the best choice, NP2 Morgan is good but she gets a lot of reruns while Koyan doesn't get nearly as many and Oberon even less.
My only defense for Archetype Earth. That she is very useful in raid events where they give you CE with special damage.
I love Buster Reloading, It makes the Training Grounds Expert with the random one enemy only Spriggan in Wave 2 easy. It kept messing with my Arts looping and Quick Looping.

TBH I feel like this video might be too forward looking, Arcueid is more than a year away, Kuku is a year and half away and while objectively this list is fine for JP, for NA I think we don't need to look this far ahead since inevitably we'll have newer videos later when 90++ changes the meta in a little over a year.
Someone like Melusine, while not a great 90++ looper, is absolutely godly for 90+. ZTL mentions that he sometimes tries to loop against archers with NP2 Muramasa with difficulty, Melusine's damage is so good that she will absolutely wreck 90+ sabers assuming you invest into her (Level 100 NP2, maybe some gold fous), you don't really even need to worry about the anti-class disadvantage. Also Cu Caster should be an honorable mention for all purpose farmer, maybe a little tougher against riders but otherwise his damage with black grail is more than enough for a lot of content in the next year and he comes with much lower deployment cost, which can be pretty important because buster farming is tighter on deployment cost.
This was super helpful b/c I have Arjuna Alter np5 and I feel less pressured to go for Morgan. Also glad she has so many rate ups in the future so I can focus on getting Oberon instead.
Matter of fact: I'm going for Morgan just on a Whim.
Because for the invincible setup, if you have Merlin and Castoria (higher priority servants than Morg) you can go for a Friends Morg and it will probably have higher NP level.
I already have himiko which can achieve more consistent invul with merlin and castoria. Not to mention those crits
I've been Buster Reloading ever since I got Oberon last year, and man does it feel good to have all those Broken Buster units and my NP5 Altria destroy farming Nodes

Been using my NP2 Saber and she's been killing everything on the rank up quests except Archers. For that, I guess that's what my question is for. I have an Arjuna at NP1. Is that good enough for general use? What about 90++ nodes?

I have a number of on-class servants that'll work, but my only class-neutral is Spishtar. If I manage to get Oberon, that'll open up Nobu as well.

she doesnt need plug but you do need atlas + double koyan. its funny to run 2x arc and another dps lmao

Yeah, definitely not a character to sleep on. The buster looping will ramp up thanks to the buff on her NP. And she's going to activate her third skill twice with Vitch so that NP damage buff is hitting. Do need the pieces to truly unleash her potential. But there's no question she is one of if not the Buster farmer.

Ok so i am gonna open with i have never buster looped with konya but i do know how this game works and let me just correct a few things.
1) types of buffs are wrong. Ajuna alter (S1 gives types 1 and 3, NP gives type 2,) Mordred has 1 types and that's all on her s1, Archetype Earth has all 3 types (S1 for type 1, s2 for type 3 and her passive gives type 2), Koyanskaya of Darkness has 1 type and that's her s1, Kukulkan has 2 types (s1 for type 1 and adn s2 for type 3.)
2) The other you have to remember with archetype earth is also able to bring any ce, the 30 and 50% cc cannot do that. So in theory she can bring a super black grail and she will out dps any of the other ones.
3) Melesine damage is insane. She has all 3 types of damage buffs (s1 for type 1 s3 for type 3 and np for type 2) and can carry any CE. she also has a save loop providing 130 on the first turn then 30 on the third.
4) you also forgot saber Ibbuki who is also a go to looper with her low investment and high damage imput.
5) another thing of note is that buster looping is a high investment on the same scale as the skadi system and in general i would not recommend to new player to use as the arts castoria system in general is better due to it's lower barrier of entry and easier access through emiya archer and basically anything that arts np.
Still holding out hope they give Raikou a battery as she's really the only aoe buster zerker I have invested
For the best damaging Arcueid farming, use New Plugsuit and Edison.

so do you think im doing good if i start to save for arcueid after koyan because although i have arjuna np2 and morgan i do simp too much for her since a long time ago so i want to save and try to np5 lvl120 her. i switch to buster farming, NP reloading is convenient compare to when i was quick farming and arts farming because back then i would think: will the recharge be enough after the attack like every often with muramasa 97% or with Dantes 47%.

I'm reminded yet again of how my np3 Arthur prototype can't loop. Just 10% battery short of greatness. Not that it matters when I have np2 Ibuki. Good advice in this video though.

arcueid is only really a contender for best buster farmers with summer ibuki but that's technically a 2v1 and you're wasting a stronger option to make a worse option work (by wasting a stronger option I mean, waste waste, arts team sibuki alone does more damage than buster team arc + sibuki so there's literally no reason to use arc outside of something like 1-2-x zerk where using any servent that farm by refunding is pretty much a loss cost). without sibuki, she just don't hit hard enough at np1, I think she barely does more damage than tiamat and melusine's ineffective damage
You could say the same for the other top-tier Busters using Oberon lol. At the end of the day, it's a completely fair comparison because it's a plug limited SSR either way. Besides that, most of Arc's value is at very high investment so just talking about NP1 hides a lot of her strengths.

So from what I see Melusine, Tiamat, and Kulkulkan are best. I’d assume that KulKulkan would be amazing in CQs more than the other two and Melusine is probably most versatile for farming especially at high NP copies and weird nodes. I think Kulkulkan is probably better if you can get her as opposed to Tiamat but only marginally and it isn’t like Arts farmers aren’t still a great option either

Arcueid is the best of all around Buster Farming, since she has a 100% NP Battery on a 7 turn cooldown, allowing her to black grail loop with the cd- mystic code with only 2 koyanskaya.
AA is the best for Damage, as he reduces Buster resist by 20% and activates his S1 damage mod at the same time, while also being a berserker.
Morgan is in the middle, with her 50% battery instead of AA's 30%, and the fact she's on rate up right next to koyanskaya and oberon, it's possible to get an established account by rolling on three banners in short time with little it can't do. Morgan requires a 50% CE and a waver (Who is free because we get a 5* ticket on 6th anniversary) with 2 koyanskaya and shes off to demolish anything in her path. (There is a rumored service that can get you around 2k SQ and 120 Tickets for like $20, you just need to sacrifice all progress, and your current User ID, not sponsored)
Aside from the 3 bog standards there, the best for each class is:
Saber: Artoria (able to farm with just an MLB K-Scope)
Archer: Arash! I wish... Emiya/Ishtar (Emiya is able to 6CE but lacks damage on wave 1 and 2 if you do that, Ishtar is best for MLB K-Scope +CD- Mystic Code and dmg for 1/2)
Lancer: Melusine (Needs help from Oberon, but can 6CE) or Ereshkigal/Lartoria (MLB K-scope+ CD- Code, but no outside help needed)
Rider: Francis Drake (MLB K-Scope + CD- Code)
Assassin(lol): Cleopatra (MLB K-Scope + CD- Code)
Caster: Nero Claudius (MLB K-Scope + CD- Code, The only one available too)

This could be outdated by JP units, but it's the best for what we have in NA. Just because your favorite isn't here doesn't mean they're useless either, but you knew that.

Well I think this is pretty biased towards kukulkan, while the foreigner class isn't that good to begin with, you could still bring mélusine to saber nodes, as long as it's not the super beefy ones, with BBG and oberon she can litteraly farm everything while having more damage than kukulkan most of the time (just not against sabers)
you can only bring melusine in 90+ saber nodes unless shes NP2 or higher plus the fact that she needs both oberon and koyan to 3t turn loop as kuku only needs koyan & any 50 charger and waver is free it doesn't matter if mel outdamage kuku once you have oberon both of them can clear 90+ & below at NP1
90++ nodes has specific setup and heavily requires NP2 or higher plus niches so I'd say kuku is better in some cases kuku can even equip BG which outright outdamage mel
@@zeroone2731 Kukulkan can't bring BG ever to loop (it's either superscope or Bunyan), it's just not possible, on the opposite side mélusine can farm without BG and oberon on neutral damage, when there is no oberon kuku does barely more damage than her but not enough to clear anything mélusine can't touch without oberon so I don't really see your point, plus we didn't even talk about how mélusine while being one of the best buster reloader can do some great single target damage, she is straight up better than kukulkan that can only rely on her crits for single target dmg, while mélusine has insane ST looping potential

@@link3629 kuku doesn't need BG in the first place in 90+ and below and no melusine cannot 90+ without BG unless its archer or higher NP if anything kuku's doable with her double buffing with her 1st and 3rd which is already better as it doesn't rely on oberon nor BG setups melusine on the other needs oberon and BG specifically
@@zeroone2731 you are litteraly talking out of your mind, look at the damage sheets for god sake ... mélusine does 350k per ennemy with the bunyan CE and oberon how is it not enough to clear a 90+? And even when talking about buffs, kuku only gets a bit more atk% because of her 1st skill (50 2 times instead of mélusine 40%×2), which is irrelevant with black grail (not even mlb) she gets way more milage out of oberon than kuku, it's just facts, mélusine is better all around than kuku you can look everywhere you will still get the same answer.

I have 10 10 10 np1 space Ishtar she's really good but not my favorite so far I'd rather use morgan or use dante outside of buster farming it's kinda ironic that the servant that I don't really much like go the first 10 10 10 skills in my spirit origin list

It's from the chaldea gate quests, when your on the main menu click thr button with the big C logo thing, you'll see three quests with different outfits icons. I believe plug suit is the first one on top

2. Buster farming is usually pretty limited in what units people have. Having a Koyanskaya Light is mandatory, and many units require an Oberon, too. Requiring an Oberon doesn’t mean that unit can’t buster farm; just that they require another unit. Besides, if you have the means, most 50% chargers would prefer the buster system+Oberon instead of other methods for damage maximization, anyway.
3. Space Ishtar does lower damage than these other units. The card type buff on her battery being a 20% buff that is not guaranteed and her other main buff being a 20% attack up doesn’t multiply very well. She does have good ramping NP damage, as well as another NP damage buff, which work well with Oberon, but her lack of other strong buff types restricts her damage. And this is coming from a person with a lvl 120, bond 12, append 10/10/1, NP5 Space Ishtar with almost maxed gold fous.
All of the busters pretty much want oberon to begin with without oberon you are only doing a incomplete buster reloading
2. Sorry, but no, this is wrong. You *can* loop with AA (or any 30%-er) with Buster loop without Oberon. The *actual* downside is that it requires an initial 100% NP gauge (AKA Append+KScope or MLB KScope) and a 50% battery support to plug in.
What you need to factor in isn't just damage, but also CE options, party costs and speed (if you mind about this).
AA's own steroids are so strong that he can just farm with the non-oberon setup most of the times in 90+, but 90++ is where Oberon comes in.
