- I really love this rocking battle theme which is a short rock remix of song used in the GudaGuda 5 Yamatai-koku 2020 TVCM, here's an extended version of this amazing theme. This song was used in the Grand Battle against Kukochihiko (Serizawa Kamo).

Reason why this theme slapped so hard was because of how it played during cutscene and continued during loading and the battle just like how Ivan boss fight was.

theyve done this a couple of times already actually. my favorite was when they did it in gudaguda3 when okita alter recovered her memories of a counterguardian and sent herself master and the sludge demon guy into the ''boundless world'' which stripped him of his authority so he was defeatable. i think this was done in the final duel in shimosa too but cant be certain.
though not through a battle, the entire cutscene segment of melt launching herself into kiara sinking into the center of the earth with spinal swan coaster I to III was just fantastic. game finished selling me on melt who i was despising even before the event and even more cause she spooked me TWICE when i wanted Plip (and she only came following year...) but after the whole event and that scene i was glad i had her.
i wish theyve done that in shinjuku on the final round against moriarty, EORs grand battle theme IS SO good for shinjukus setting.

This event’s finale went from like a 4/10 with the generic skeleton boss to a perfect 10 with Super Himiko and Serizawa becoming a Nioh boss lol. This song slaps so hard and comes out of nowhere

I don't know why you said "went from like a 4/10"?From what I feel FGO GudaGuda Yamataikoku story is very Interesting and Lovely soooo which part is 4/10 and do tell me.
The only thing that would have made this better is harder difficulty at least on that final boss.

I said that about the finale because the ending starts with a skeleton boss which has been the end boss in several other events (Nergal in Eresh Christmas and Xu Fu in summer 5 to give a couple examples) so I was bummed at first thinking guda5 was ending with that-but then we ended up getting this song and a unique boss.
Expectation: A traditional Japanese song.
Reality: Rock and roll.
This is traditional, you can't change my mind otherwise.

Since we're in the rerun now, feels like a good time to mention another reason why this song is such a fucken BANGER. Plays during the big fight against Kamo. Himiko has just been consumed ENTIRELY in darkness and has access to none of her 5 senses. She stays calm and uses her Mirror to wait for a chance to help. She SUMMONS HERSELF AS A SERVANT and then uses her mirror to fuse with her Servant self and becomes "Super Himiko" (which is why she is buffed to SHIT in that battle)
I know Extra Classes don´t count for the Grand Title but Super Himiko would definitely fit the Grand Ruler title for all of that
@@catastros654 You forget because GudaGuda is mostly hijinks (and I don't think Himiko has gotten a ton of focus elsewhere), but she's absolutely broken as a Servant. She's super strong, her mirrors have more computational power than fucking SHEBA and can see the future and even alter it to an extent. Not to mention her light powers. Easily a top tier Servant if she's being serious.

Can I just mention how absolutely adorable this is? Plus, it makes me soft to hear her be so happy about knowing everyone she cares for will have food to eat. Like, nowadays most of us think nothing of it, but Himiko goes through Chaldea getting amazed at how safe everyone is. How happy everyone can be, how they don't have to worry about weather or lacking food or shelter, or just suddenly dying from sickness. Seeing someone whose mind only knows how harsh the old world was makes me remember how many pointy situations have been polished to be safer and we've made places more liveable for ourselves. I don't know, she triggers a lot of happy emotion

She's the most expensive roll I have so far, even Eresh, JAlter, and Merlin were not that hard to pull.
This song is available in NA's MyRoom now btw; it's titled "Meikyou Shisui -Between Light and Dark-"
"Meikyou Shisui" is a Japanese expression for a "clear mind"; "meikyou" translating into a "clear mirror" and "shisui" into "still waters".
I just did this fight today. And my god I've never gotten so hype for an event boss fight. I liked all gudagudas but this went above and beyond. Not only did the event gift us with Vergil but with one of the coolest grand battles ever with one of the best tracks. I loved this event through and through.
When this ost play while fighting against Serizawa, I was so fking hyped. What a blast this battle is.
NA is here now FINALLY! Fighting that Serizawa bastard with this playing in the background is the dope! By far the best Guda Guda theme ever!

By the time I first time listened to this track, my brain immediately led me to pick my Samurai Warriors-themed comps to fight Kukachihiko.
This track is still by far my favourite Guda-Guda Grand Battle track, and I'm still yet to change my mind about that. I even use this whenever I daily-punch Mugen in GBF and it still bangs pretty well.

When this came on during the grand battle I quickly exit the battle and change the team with the front row is Nobukatsu, Support Himiko with My Main Man Chou Orion while at the back row busy rocking this beat is Summer Nobbu, Mozart, and Salieri.

Man never knew they would just throw an epic theme at us like this. I remember having Nobukatsu use his NP right on time with the music to buff up Okita and Himiko for them to use their High critical Buster Attacks.

You couldn't tell at how amazed I was hearing this for the first time. I legit got the chill and goosebumps from the entire Grand Battle, it felt like it had an impact on me as a whole, and by far (in my opinion) the most memorable OST in F/GO period. Props to the band and those who took part in creating this masterpiece.

Himiko's Gudaguda event was my first event i was able to join, and just reading the final pieces of dialogue as this song starts to come in, really hits the hell yeah boss fight spot for me.
Also, Two Himiko's (one story support, one my own summon), facing the final boss felt quite op.

I haven't been this excited for a fight in a long time. I never really into Gudaguda despite had cool stuff but the Yamataikoku arc just hit diferent. Glad to see that Himiko brother could help a fellow brother and kukochihiko came to the light in the end.

Just coming here to say I cried when this played. If I haven't listened to the original, I wouldn't have been filled with so much emotion during the final boss. God, I will never stop loving FGO.
Edit: For some reason, I'm sobbing now. I don't know why. I guessed I'm very grateful FGO exist. I don't care how many Gacha games came after FGO. FGO is the only Gacha game I will stick around to the end. I'm very glad to be alive. If life screws me over, at least I have something to keep me going.

Just finished this fight earlier. Man, this was some of the best music I've heard in FGO. It's got that same electric guitar sound quality that hyped me up like crazy during the final Wally fight in ORAS. Absolutely beautiful, blood-pumping tunes. Good stuff. The one in the battle before it was great too!
