      There where numerous top class English strikers around at that time but agreed it made more sense then to use such a successful pair together as it does now.

    Why doesn't Kelly ask the question that we all want to hear? After a successful period @ Southampton Shearer could have joined any club in England- Fact. Why did he not join his boyhood club and help them win promotion back to the PL and then help them win trophies?
    He 100% could have done, BUT HE chose not to.
    Was his love for his hometown club as strong as his love for Jack Walker's millions?🤔
