I am still trying to figure out if people just bring 1 back pack or they also come with a small carry on suitcase. Also is there safe storage for this?
For retreat you don't have to carry anything. They say you have to bring your own yoga mat but they themselves provide it. You may take your mat to avoid any problem there.

Namaskaram, I have Registered for IE retreat 18-21 May. I want advice/suggestions on 2 things - 1) My flight will land in Coimbatore at Noon on 17th May but my program starts the following Day. Should I Stay in Ashram Itself or a Hotel in the city. 2) Should I Stay for One more day in the Ashram after the Program ends Cause I think that I may not be able to explore the Whole Ashram and Velliangiri Hills during the duration of the program . Pranam.
Namaskaram 1) You can contact ashram for early check-in. I think they can accommodate for half day prior. Because as far as I remember, in the guidelines they mention checkin by last 12 PM but there's no Earliest Time mentioned. So you can try to convince them with this 🤪 anyways you will be checking in around evening time as it will take you some time to reach there. 2) They say you can stay till 10 AM after program completion day (22 May in your case) But they won't hurry you up to leave. If they do so, you can keep your luggage with deposit counter and explore the ashram if you want and you have time. But most of the ashram you will already explore while doing the program only. But still you won't feel like leaving the place 😌😁 (I don't know whether you can go to velliangiri, better you ask about it in ashram itself)

No preparations are needed. Just one GOLDEN TIP I have for everyone is to just go with complete openness and zero expectations. Then your experience will be just awesome. Don't create anything in your mind about anything whether it is meditative experience, consecrated spaces, or anything else. Go there like a child goes to school for the very first time in his life. He doesn't have any idea about what's going to happen, and also he doesn't have any expectations about the same. HE JUST GOES THERE. That's it😇😇 All the best for your spiritual journey ahead🌹🌹

There's no need for a yoga mat in the program there. But, when you go back home, and if you will be traveling for long hours, you better take it with you as you may need to do the practices in the way.

No Sadhguru won't be present. Every program has a cost attached to it complete it successfully. Since this is a residential program, this includes the room price, food, setup, etc. So they have to charge it. Simple

Namaskaram, 1. It costs ₹20,000 2. Accommodation and food is included 3. There's an option for twin sharing and a single room, for single the price is double i.e. ₹40,000. In sharing, you will be sharing the room with a girl only if you are a girl and it is completely safe. 4. You have to register through the Sadhguru app under the Programs section. 5. Slots are generally full, but keep checking, in between they reopen when someone cancels. For dates you have to check on the Sadhguru app. The program happens every Thursday to Sunday, so 4 programs a month.

Does the program happen in person or video sessions in IE retreat program? Because I feel it is not worth going there just to watch few videos on a big screen. We can do that by online inner engineering too
It's not just sessions on big screen. There's much more than that. You get a conducive atmosphere designed specially for such programs. It is not same as watching videos at home. Other than this, there are more activities. Rest is your decision.

You can try isha's tooth powder. Costs just ₹50. Mix it with some coconut oil and make it like a paste. Do it like "Manjan" with index finger. You may do it twice a day also
There Neem and Turmeric is used after latrine or fresh after use.

There's no need for a yoga mat in the program there. But, when you go back home, and if you will be traveling for long hours, you better take it with you as you may need to do the practices in the way.
