Understand that you need some financial thing to feed more than 10000 people for free everyday who visit ashram, to run 12 free schools at the remotest parts of the country, to support the whole local area of Vellingiri, to serve and help thousands of local farmers, to clean the local water bodies, etc... What do you know about what is Isha doing?
I have seen this happen with free study courses on CZcams. The crowd that comes is 50% trashy people who are there either for girls, or to joke, or to get attention or are not serious.
I would pay him without even asking why. People waste money every day buying stupid things but when a spiritual Guru asks for money for his services they immediately complain.

I had this issue as well, my spiritual self doesn't let me ask for money. I need to find a way to sustain myself comfortably and still be able to help others with my work.
Did inner engineering program twice payee twice. I still show up and focus very much on my inner engineering everyday. The results transcend words as if you haven’t had the experience you will either criticize it saying it’s not true or hallucinate the experience.

We live in this reality in the world at this time. There is a Misconception out there and it’s a programming of the ego by patriarchal society that a Guru/Teacher/selfless servant must not have anything and that includes money. Most of the true “Guru’s” don’t do it for the money they do it to somehow show that there is more to being what is taught and imprinted for most human beings and with that uplift and eventually start a path to enlightenment. This reality we all are in here and now almost requires money and also there is no reason why a Guru cannot enjoy some of this earths pleasures. Enlightenment through whatever means it’s bestowed changes a human being and they naturally see through most unnecessary needs and just what they NEED and that Basic NEED is money. Blessings for what Sadhguru does.
